    Great demonstration of the pigment stage Michael! I was particularly amazed with the wet pigment use, that thing transformed the surface!! Dot filter with pigments is another thing that blew my mind, who could have expected! Thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the good work my friend!

    That tip about using this as a dot filter is exactly what I am after for the side walls of my engine bay in my Tiger and the radiator/fan housing’s and fuel tanks 🤓🤓🤓 I’ve been mulling over this problem for ages but didn’t know exactly how to ask the question 😳🙄😅 now I don’t need to thanks AGAIN to your brilliance Mr C… it’s almost like you know what I’m struggling with and have the solution for me 🤓🤓🤓 anyway another superb video Mr C 🤓🤩😍 full of useful tips and hints and cost saving ideas 😉😊😍👍👍👍👍👍👍

    That was a very interesting tutorial mate, and thanks of course for your time and efforts again.
    Just a quick question.
    Did you spray a clear Matt coat over the paint job before you did the pastel wash to protect it from all the effects of the water and mineral spirit etc?
    Or don’t you worry about it?

      By the time it comes to putting pigments on my models! I’ve already sealed the model with a mat varnish… Winsor Newton galleria matte varnish is what I’ve been using for a few years now. It’s acrylic. Water and mineral spirits have no effect on it.
