Mine was working fine one day charging to 100% then just stop working all together any idea where I could send it to get fixed instead of buying a new one
Bike Turbo Levo 2020 My battery is not charging. I insert the charger and the green indicator on the charger lights up, and on the batteries the first second and fourth indicator lights up. What is the problem?
I do own a 2014 turbo S. Battery is down, charges only up to 92% and when capacity is 50% it'll die so I can use only 42% of its capacity. I dream of replacing the cells, you feel its possible to get it alive by this? Regards!
I do have a Specialized Turbo S which has the same battery you are demonstrating. I was taking my battery from the bike and dropped it about 12 inches or maybe less, onto the concrete floor. It now has a rattle from something loose in the battery. I dropped the lower end down and not the charging end. The bike charges fine....should I leave alone or try to have someone try to fix the rattle. Thanks. I learned a bunch from your demo but not comfortable taking the battery apart. Thanks.
love the frank discussion, it is shocking how these top brands rip off their customers. I experienced the same with my BMW car which had easily blocked rainwater drainage systems which kept blowing my electrics. very frustrating and heartbreaking. destroys all trust in the brand.
Good video. I have one here for repair. The charger output pins shows 0v :/ the green led is on and it doesnt charge battery. What is that little pin next to + and - pins ? The manual says it is "T" but what is T ? Maybe that pon is to check if there is batrery connected.or not?! I ask.because if that line faulty ,the charger things there is no battery connected and doesnt start sending 40v for charge :/ thanx for answer
@@simonwalmsley2839 yes !! I did... had to sell cells for par because the BMS board blocked and you will never.restart it again !! Sucks :( the manufacturer makes this way on purpose unfortunatelly. Hello everyone , my local dealer told me that is imposible to change cells in my turbo llevo M1 Battery because Specialized has a security system in the BMS and the better optionn is buy a new Battery , what could i do, congratulations nice channel
Never try to do this yourself what is done in the video. It is verry good watching it, but know that once you have made the BMS loose the battery turns into a protecting sleeping mode. You can't get it out enymore and insted of solving a problem you have a never working battery anymore. I experienced it my self. After reconnecting the battery starts normal up with checking the for leds, but then the 4 leds keeps blinking as if the battery is charching without a charger. Putting it on the charger the light of the charger is immediately green, so it is not charging and working enymore. My battery was still 74% full before. I guess in this video the same must happened with the battery, due it has been opened before. Only the outcome is different becauce the battery in the video is still charging but not turning on. If you don't replace the flatcable right the same happens with my battery: it won't turn on enymore. Now once the flatcable is reposisioned again it starts blinking after turning it on and you are not able to turn it off again. Verry nasty of Specialized to build in this protection. The say to do it for security against fire, but the result is I have to through away a working battery, wich is not environment friendly! Luckely there will be a law in 2025 that all batteries has to be reparable!!! So Specialized will make less money and the planet is getting less worned-out. For those who are interested why I tryed to make the BMS loose from a working battery: I have recently 2 Turbo bikes, just bought 1 for spare parts with quite often een M ERR. Putting my SBC05 (691 KH/h)battery in this bike the problem seems to be solved. The SBC03 (468 KW/h) battery has a lower range. So I thought to swap the BMS because that is the part wich is stearing the motor. I hope to have helped people not to ruin there battery!

Very interesting. Battery Specialized M3-700, Integrated battery, 700Wh. Is this not a good battery? In my 2022 Specialized Turbo Levo Pro? I have a different battery. I am curious if it is not quality.
Believe it or not, I'd buy Specialized. The reason why is their ebikes ride better than all the others I've tried, and I've tried many. I'd just plan on selling it after 2 years (well before the warranty runs out), and buying another new one at that time. Then repeat this process. Other brands will catch up, and Specialized will use better batteries, in the years to come.
@@PhilAndersonOutside another tip... buy your bike using a credit card that provides 2x the mfr warranty, then you can keep your bike 2x longer without worrying about the costs during that extended period.
Never ever buy a specialized e-bike. I bougth a Specialized Turbo S, I think in 2015, so it's not that old. Now the the rear drive has a mechanical problem. Reply from the dealer; it's an old bike and most likely there are no more spare parts. Unlikely that it can be repaired. WHAT, this was a 5000 Euro bike. And now it's ready for the scrap yard ?? First of all not very sustainable and very envirionmental unfriendly. If this turns out unrepairable than never ever a specialized again. I also own a Specialized Epic, one of the first carbon fiber bikes. Drive it already for 25 years.
I agree, it is ridiculous to buy a bike for 5000 euro and have the possebility not to have any support after 5 years. Specialized just says, after 5 year the bike is off, or you should be able to buy a spare part. Enyway for firmware the Turbo is not suppotred enymore since 2017. So if you have bought the last model in 2016 you could be in problems verry soon.
*Great quality amazing **Latest.Bike** , back brakes needed adjusting. Assembly a little complicated and instructions a little unclear but overall I give the bike 5/5 stars*
He's saying there is nothing special about the battery, and the bikes are expensive. He's right. However, I tend to agree with you. There's a lot more to these bikes than the battery. In fact, out of all ebikes I've ridden, and seen (and I work at a bike shop), the Specializeds are the best overall.

So how do we put these bikes in storage for the winter months? Should it be charged fully before storage?
NO!!! best store at 50% charged
Turbo Levo SL… just returned from 3mo in winter to dead unchargae battery … not sure next steps

Do you know what Specialized bike this battery came off?
Turbo S
Will you continue to let us know if you fixed it?

We will attempt to balance them up and see if it turns on.
