Even when glued in, one can apply gentle air heat and/or isopropyl alcohol to soften the adhesive under the circuit board, enough to remove the board without over cracking it, or heat-stressing the lithium batteries. Keep up the good work mate! 👍
Hey DE, nice that you managed to fix it for your friend. After watching the video I fail to grasp what actually fixed the issue though 😂 Was it in the end that you cleaned the corrosion of the circuit board or was it the connector? For me it felt like the video was missing the most crucial bit, what the issue was 😂❤
Hello, ive a battery first version for turbo levo (401) i've have removed voltage from the bms, opening the battery and disconnecting the cables. Ive done this to clean the mother board. When i've reconnected 3 red leds start to flash and the battery is in a block status. I suppose that bms goes in block when you remove voltage. Do you know jow unblock or reset bms? Thanks a lot
Hi, thank you for this video! I make my battery live again. But there is another issue appears. I cannot identify the error code. Could you please help look at it. The LED flashes red and green. and the battery cannot be turned off. th-cam.com/users/shortstBG4dn_gZC4?si=EK99XzE0Fhk5vN9K

Thanks man, I reckon my wife's hairdryer would have helped!!!
Heat first then use thin gauge plastic coated cable like a cheese wire to slide under the PCB.

That’s exactly the reason I left it connected…. So sorry I have no idea how to reboot!
Hello mate. Before you measured the battery for Voltage... You the battery was "on".
How do you get it to turn on so it gives you voltage? Thanks.
Press the button... I can't recall if press and hold, or just single press
Nice work but sadly illustrates the new era of scammery in a new tech, fortunately we have people like you to show us the way.
Was hard work, but buying a replacement is crazy 🤣
I have same battery, with two sections in a bad condition, so the battery only works in the range of 30-80%. Can I replace the cells?
I would, but you’ll need to know how.
Nice fix Mate! 🛠👍😊
Bloody ages working on that…! :)
I don't have the patience anymore 👍
Classic Specialized quality.
Sadly Specialized E-bikes sadly have plenty of issues.
Not so special... Sadly 🙏😞
Do you fix batteries. My kenevo battery needs some love
Im sorry, I dont.
Could the cells be replaced and the bms reset?
Really good question... If be tempted to try it. I'd hope the BMS will reset... Don't wanna brick it!!!
Is there anyway of. Charging Specialized M1-400 battery in specialized levo hardyail
Plug it into the charger?
A dubious video indeed.
:-). The metal knife blade... Rolls eyes!! :-)
summarise what was wrong with the specialised battery and what you did to fix it please@@DubiousEngineering
i help about my battery
Good luck! 😁

So sorry, but I have no idea of the error codes. No information has been released about them.

Corrosion on the PCB, but even after the repair, the fault came back about 2 months later... Pffft. :-(
