Renzokuken is now 10 years old! IMO one of the best Razhiel tracks of all time! The introduction, the drop, and just the vibe is all PERFECTION! This was way ahead of its time 😮! Still a masterpiece in 2024, and this track makes me miss Razihel even more…he was one of the greatest Monstercat artist on this label! Since I consider 2014 the finale of the classic EDM era this tracks feels like an end of an era!

To all those who are confused by what genre this song might be, it is at 128 BPM, which does classify it under the electro house and/or complextro genre (the beginning of the second drop is dubstep at 140 BPM, though). Whether it is complextro or just normal electro can't be said for sure, as both genres fall under the same tempo. It definitely does contain dubstep-like elements (as do a lot of Monstercat electro releases), but I've noticed that these elements are much more easily distinguished in complextro than in normal electro (usually by heavier and more distorted basses and sub-basses). Personally, I would just call it electro, but it really depends on what you take of it, whether you think it is closer to dubstep or to electro.
No song's genre falls specifically under the tempo.. Not to mention the second drop didn't change tempo in the first place. It's is Electro-House and this is what an Electro-house track should sound like.

Coming close are Chris Ramos, Lets Be Friends, Teqq, Vicetone, Noisestorm, Krewella, and DotEXE; although, everyone that is/was on the label is awesome.
Better than till its over. Best on 016 so far. Lots of new sounds for razihel. I really love the insteumental and orchestral bits he threw in there, as well as the reference to his track "fireflies" at the incredible second drop. Razihel is definitely the best new face on MCM.
Honestly,I think the best part about the song is that the visualization is the first to challenge Favright for the left side of the visualizer on an Electro song. :P
One of the best Electro songs in a while. I dare to say it beats Atrium and Apollo, with class. Honestly, this is a great return for Razihel, and will be one of the great tracks of 016.
Atrium wasn't anything special. Apollo is very unique on the other hand, beside the generic cut ins. I wish Astronaut would do a little more with his harder pieces than make them generic. Add that creativity and unique feeling to the rest.
