I always thought of the edm era as a sort of renaissance for music. Suddenly music production software was available to anyone who had a couple hundred dollars and a laptop, and anyone could publish / “get signed” by just sharing on TH-cam, so talent that would have otherwise been undiscovered was able to flourish and we got literally thousands of songs with unique styles and emotion. What a time to live through.

This is why Au5 is by far one of the most respected artists on Monstercat. He is the only artist who i dont see get much hate, and all his songs are pretty awesome.

i think mainly it was because you know, this was BRAND new at the time, there wasn't stuff like this before 2011-2014, so this sort of stuff was absolutely crazy to us.

Back in the day over 111 years ago I didn’t think TH-cam had good music creators but the monster cat playlists changed that! Such original and different music always very uplifting aswell :)

I love how some youtubers can come in and just nitpick at a song that they apparently like. Dont compare one song with another song. Each song is its own unique piece of music. It doesn't need to be changed or altered to suit one paticular persons taste, it is what it is. The lyrics doesn't have to be a shakespearean transcript. I love the music and I love the lyrics.

Hello from 2018! Au5 left the label over two years ago, but is still making absolutely mesmerizing music. Meanwhile on Monstercat, the crappy riddim revolution continues on, with a few notable exceptions.
This song is pactically perfection, all the way from 2014 'till now its still such a banger!!

The golden age of electronic music is sadly over. Not enough people want to innovate and be themselves. This is one of the greatest dubstep tracks to ever be released in my opinion along with almost everything else released in the earlier days of Monstercat.

Returning to Snowblind & seeing how long it has been since release will always surprise me. I simply admire this unique style of production which is undoubtedly Au5; and even in the capable hands of the most talented producers, I struggle to imagine someone creating a mix which surpasses this Au5 perfection.
Honestly, I could understand someone finding the drops intimidating, especially as they're such a juxtaposition from the subtle, inviting off-drop. But it's that juxtaposition which empowers the entire track, and especially the vibrant tenacity coming from the gorgeous melody in the last third of the drops. To me, Snowblind is simply this perfect blend in which takes advantage of numerous dubstep qualities to deliver a timeless & blissful experience - and this all goes without mentioning Tasha's extraordinary vocal performance as well.
To anyone interested, please take the time to listen to more Au5 as it's all bliss.

Im sooo glad hes getting all the exposure he deserves. The combination of UKF and MC is gonna get this song to #1 on Beatport dubstep charts, and will give him overall more followers on SC. Not to mention that the song is a complete MASTERPIECE. Tasha's vocals were above average, but they really cant be compared to Dankya's vocals in Real Love or Follow You. The trancestep mix-genre flowed beautifully with the vocals, and the second drop really brought out his old style, which ive missed so much. I LOVE this song

I always find Au5's dubstep tracks too similar to each other, not mention, I didn't like his VIP mix of Follow You, but this song astounds me. This is absolutely amazing. And those vocals, are just too damn amazing; one of the best I've heard in a long time. Worth the several month wait.
I do agree that his tracks sound similar, but I honestly think that in his case, it is a good thing. Each track has familiar and unique elements. All of the unique elements are much more pronounced an a familiar setting with some familiar sounds. It honestly works very well. Reminds me of Apple products. (Maybe because Au5 uses Logic)
I agree. While they may be similar, most of them sound great.
I don't get how people say au5's stuff is repetitive, but I've seen no comments other than my own about how tristam is more repetitive than any other mc artist...
