I've never heard of them but I hope you enjoy! I don't think I have space in my kitchen to keep massive implements of cutting culinary coolness. Hope all is going well!
One of looks like a huusk knife I got same blade shape except doesn’t have the big circle at bottom back of blade or the hand forged hammer marks look. works good cutting meat and veggies but infomercial shows it going through bones with ease. I think companies get these blanks pre sharpened and can customize to suit their customers as in other companies sell it this way so we’re doing this kinda thing cause after I got mine all of a flim flam sudden there were like 5 other companies selling something similar
Worse than HF. Coolina are drop shipping the “viking” style knifes from aliexpress/Alibaba and then marking it up by like 6-8x and claiming it’s “Top of the line”. For literally less you can get a Seki City made SpyderCo Chef knife. It doesn’t look goofy. Folks have tested the steel and its bottom tier stainless steel. HF just sells cheap stuff at low prices.
Very cool blades as a chef and butcher I have close to a hundred knives so I've seen some similar to these but not quite as massive the eagle isn't a kitchen knife it's a gardening knife to harvest veggies or so it seems in comparison to blades I have
Have you tried these out at all? About to buy some myself. But trying to figure out if it’s a scam or not. Haven’t seen the best reviews so far but yours is the most recent. Thanks
I just purchased the Coolina knives, (buy 2 get 2 free). They are awesome! Order 4 and the least expensive 2 are free and I received the Eagle as a bonus. But, I'm trying to understand the purpose of the hooked end of the Eagle knife. Great gifts for the avid griller in the family.
These are all style over function and not to mention likely just ordered in bulk from Aliexpress or Alibaba then marked up significantly. They say “high quality carbon steel” on the website when reputable mfg like spyderco, Victorinox, Shun, and etc will tell you the steel like VG10 and SUS410.
When the manufacturer says sharpen often it must be soft steel.

Hot garbage. I guess if you like Harbor Freight, you’ll love Coolina.

I like how, at the beginning, you showed us your super-cool tactical knife, and then opened the package with an ordinary box cutter! 😂

@ brad. What is the metal of those days what grade are they.
@@jameszapata8290 high carbon steel
Bad. It’s a low grade stainless steel. Cedric and Ada tested it not to long ago.
Run of the mill 1095.
Really cheap steel with bad quenching and temper. Every one I have seen has a warp.
they come with rust already installed....
It's 1095 steel. It's not that difficult to take care of. The problems are with the forging, fit and finish,
