This is GORGEOUS! I don't think I've seen another stamped scene that has as much depth and it immediately drew me into the page. I couldn't wait to see what you did to achieve this and was amazed that you didn't do a whole lot - the pathway provided the look while your darker house and increasingly smaller flowers reinforced it. At first I thought the flowers were patches of mist/fog that had settled in until I watched the video and saw it up close - too much halloween LOL. The flowers are just so pretty with their different colors added. Beautiful page for a beautiful sentiment.

I have found this to be so very therapeutic for me! I’ve only been paper crafting for about a year. I have not been consistent, because not knowing how to draw the images in my head was frustrating! Then I found STAMPS & went overboard buying so many! Lol 😂 Now, the state of the world & personal hardships have caused me to need to craft more as a form of therapy! It helps me cope! I’m learning from your videos! I am drawn to this type of journaling...maybe even more than writing, which I’ve done for years! Thank you for sharing your gift with us! Oh my! Another of your gorgeous fairy/elf scenes .....I absolutely loved you Secret Garden art journal page .....& I absolutely love this one too. They are both Soooooo magical. After watching your Secret Garden video, I dashed off to Lavinia stamps & bought three, & now I need to buy some more, as I don't have any of the little houses or toadstools. I just love your art journal pages. They always come out looking so beautiful. I wish I could art journal like you. I stopped art journaling a few months ago because it all looked like one hot mess after another. If I thought for even a moment that I could art journal like you, I'd be back doing it all the time.
Thanks! I think art journaling is a bit of a journey, you have to work through a lot of hot messes until you find things that work for you. I would really encourage you to have another go, and accept the pages you don't like as part of a learning process. If you only take away what doesn't work in the beginning, you have still learned something to take forward into your next page.
