Shawn, thank you. I subscribe to I don't know how many artists. But, I will say that without a doubt, you are the most inspiring person to me, with your art and especially with your wonderful heart. I have not been at home in my skin for such a long time now. I haven't even been able to focus on being creative. Since I found you here, I am slowly watching all of your videos. You and your art bring such peace to my soul. I want you to know that. Maybe before much longer I will get back to creating. You have filled such a void in me. Love everything you do. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

First, I love this! One of my favorite pieces of yours.But watching this was bittersweet. Today would have been my 46th wedding anniversary but my husband passed away the end of 2012 and we didn't make it to our 40th anniversary. But I always feel his presence so he is here with me. Home has always been so very important to me. We lived in our one house for 37 years. Now I live in an apartment that can never be "home" without him but I have my memories. So many memories, forever in my heart. The number on the door, 73, was the year we married, 1973. This piece is very special and your talk was so meaningful. Thank you for sharing, your artwork and your thoughts.

This is the first one of your videos that I’ve seen. I truly enjoyed it. I got into mixed media almost 2 years ago, and every journal has a house in it. I’ve done Wonky houses, plain houses and old houses and a barn. Thank you for sharing!

Wow!! This so hit me in the face lol bc lately I haven’t been feeling at home!! Every time I watch these and you speak at the end it has always meant so much to me bc it’s like it’s for me!! I’ve been dealing with a lot lately and my own home, the actually building doesn’t feel like home anymore but maybe that’s bc I’m not at home in myself!! I’ve recently started with crystal healing and tarot and it’s helped a little but I’m still I guess lost, so this made my Sunday!! Again thank you Shawn for always sharing your story

Such a wonderful sentiment. When I was a child, when we would have free day in art class ( yes, when art class was still implemented in schools) I would always draw a house. I don't know why but I loved doing that. If I had time I'd add Christmas lights! LOL. So why don't I draw them now? Thank you for such wonderful inspiration. 😘

I am loving your work. The MDF board that you use, do you cut it yourself? How do you hang it? How can I resource it?
I cut it myself and router a key hoke on back for hanging
