1st. Thank you. I love the step by step description on how to do this. ( I just watched your firmware update) Your video is perfect. I'm an old dog looper with this new toy. Again thank you
You're welcome! I'm happy people are finding my content and getting some direction on these matters!! I know my vids are long-winded & repetetive, but there are too many videos out there that seem rushed, chaotic and/or not so personal ... Have a great day!!
These videos are perfectly done. Don't change the way you do it. It's step by step how to do it and 100% we'll watch your video and we'll be able to do it.. thank you.
Good Video, well explained.Just the Facts and not rushed. I think that works for Most people,of course Not all.Nothing wrong with the way you're explaining things.Or the time it takes. Some folks are New to looping and I'm sure appreciate a thorough walk through explanation. I Haven't done a backup since my RC-300. Hard-drive recently crashed on the laptop I was using.I did have a lot of data saved .. I had made disc's of my wav. files from my RC-50 and 300. Just did a RC-600 Ver: update, and back-up of what is on the RC-600..NOW I can check out the Editor. Thanks,For Your Time for Posting Videos.
You're very welcome! Be sure to check back here soon, I have a lot more coming up very soon, regarding other ways of backing up, restoring, clearing & resetting, and then the more fun stuff comes !!!
Hi Peter & thanks for watching .. I can't really answer about how to do this on a Mac, as I've never used one ... there is an equivalent method tho, and you'll need to use whatever file explorer is built into a Mac. I know a Mac uses Safari for browsing the internet ... Any current Mac should also be able to open any .Zip file, but there may be some differences ... Beyond that, a Mac user would be a better person to ask ...
So, if I have a catalog of 300 songs that I play live, I can move individual songs to an external device and shuffle setlists by picking individual songs as needed? That's a deal breaker for me. Also, can you just attach an external hard drive on its own or do you need to go to a computer? Thanks for the video!
Hi Gabe !! Yes, you can save as many songs to external drive as you need, but when you return a song to the RC, it's folders should be named numerically, so as to represent a numbered memory location, and you must ensure there are not any numbering conflicts -ie- do not have two or more song folders with the same numbers ...
Hi Michael, here's a reaction from The Netherlands. Today I bought a RC 600 and I'm trying to get along with it. In that course I found your videos which I really like because you explain everything in detail and in a nice manner. Exactly how I teach my students to play the guitar. You take your time for it, great! In your video about backing up I found where the data is stored on the pc when the 600 is connected via USB. I'm now looking for a video that shows how I can run wav files made in my DAW into loops of the 600. Do you already make a vidoe on this subject that I'm overlooking? Thanks, Bernhard Reinke
Hi Bernhard, thanks for tuning in!! I will make a video regarding WAV files made in a DAW, and how to format it for the RC600 ... that would be a great topic to cover, Thank you!! It's in the works now!!
Was I talking too much? I do talk to viewers as though they are actual people, and hopefully some will appreciate that. There are plenty of other channels where they holler at you at full speed, so you'll have to re-watch them several times to get it ...
Thank you so much for this very detailed explanation!
You're welccome !
