Yeah the god roll is what you want honestly. The problem i have is when someone uses a roll that's obviously worse cuz its a shiny version of the weapon. I see this a lot.... A lot.... Ive deleted so many shiny weapons because id rather have my god roll normal than a "shiny" version of a shit weapon.

midnight coup: explosive payload: 15%, OFA: 35%, an easy 50% buff in gms.
Explosive payload is 15% for body shots and 10% for headshots, and damage buffs are not additive in this game they are multiplicative, so it works out to a 48.5% buff on crits and a 55.25% buff on body shots (crits obviously still dealing more damage, but they receive less of a buff). That’s the roll I want, and I’ve gone through at least 20 shiny midnight coups so far and haven’t seen it

I got a shiny to roll with that combo, or if I'm playing easier content I could swap out explosive payload for Firefly. More than likely though I'll be glued to the explosive/ofa combo

Firefly for weak enemies, Kinetic Tremors for stronger enemies. It's an all-rounder. If something is too strong for the combo, I pull out my Special weapon or Power weapon.

I don’t care what anyone says I love my firefly and KT rolls on my hung and midnight. My favorite weapons for general play and for causal grinding.

Right. I feel the same. It's an all-rounder. It deals with weak enemies and stronger enemies. When ammo is low, having an all-rounder primary is so nice.
A little while back, I was recommended a One for all + explosive payload on zaoulis bane and holy crap its good. Extremely easy to proc in all content, but most importantly in hard content and it literally hits like an exotic. So when I saw that midnight coup had that roll, I had to get it.
And yeah, it does not disappoint at all, cause since its a kinetic it hits even harder.
Both OfA + Explosive give the weapon a 55% body shot damage increase and 48% crit increase which is just insane. This means it hits MORE than the base crit damage as body shot damage when proced! Its also pretty good on the kings fall void scout rifle, so 10/10 would recommend
I got 2 harrowed zaoulis with this roll from Pantheon, good to know it hits hard, I'll start using it!

I got Kinetic Tremors and Frenzy + Firefly on a shiny Blast Furnace this morning. It even has Extended Mag and with Back Up Mag added, it holds 64.
I have the same blast furnace! I have 7000 kills on it already. I’m not taking it off my kinetic slot anytime soon either. Blast furnace and go figure where my favorite pulse rifles back in the day so I’m in heaven right now with mine 🤣
If you are in endgame content with grouped up ads they do work together by focusing on the yellow health activating kinetic tremors then firefly for more damage to the surrounding enemies leaving everything one shot and one more head shot away from clearing them all

I completely agree, why bother using something like firefly with kinetic tremors, just use something like explosive payload or frenzy instead. Simple.
To not need multiple handcannons in my vault, so I have 1 with the best of both worlds.
Frenzy is the most lazy damage perk to use🤣 also 12 seconds to proc is not the one

Firefly going for small adds and Kinetic Tremors for Yellows, Champions, etc, makes sense in Onslaught or other content that rides the middle line, where Reds are weak but tougher Oranges, Yellows and even Champions say "Hello!". Also, good backup if you run out of major DPS because you run Heavy and Special.
But I'd rather just stack my Primary for small, or for big, targets only.
Explosive payload+kinetic tremors sounds like free damage galore.
They dont synchronize tho. Your kinetic tremors cant be procced by explosive payloads extra hits

@@Rinickulous1106 They don't need to synchronize. People need to stop thinking they do. Having a 2 in 1 perk combo like that is great. When you hit red bars they get melted by explosive and then when you come across someone beefy, with the same gun you can proc kinetic. It's a great perk combo. Makes the gun feel way better than if you just had kinetic one for all coz if you do go for K+OFA, it'll feel like ass until you proc it. Not the case if you have kinetic+explosive.
I know for me (like I'm sure others have said in here), Firefly + One for All on midnight Coup is an incredible roll. Reload perk, procs OfA super easily, and makes your hand cannon a 1 tapping machine with very little set up while still having the proper wave clear/weakening that you want from a primary weapon. Kinetic Tremors/OfA on Blast Furnace isn't the worst either, though you'd have to make up for the lack of reload, but it lets you get an actually good feeling pulse rifle while shooting at some of the more annoying targets (like yellow bar vandals and what not). Those are the only main two rolls that I got that you didn't end up pointing out.
I will say, i do agree with you about firefly and tremors on midnight. I have that and i thought it would feel great but i was wrong. I have ever tremor roll on that but payload though lol.
As for hung jury and blast though, i think firefly and tremors is still solid in both easy and hard content. I only have the roll on hung jury atm but i find in easy content i can proc firefly on the red bars from range easy, and then go to a yellow and get tremors off easy from a range, killing it and nearby red bars, and if the final hit is a headshot i also get firefly. It just feels really good. Then in harder content i can do the same thing, plink away from a distance and get firefly and/or tremors off on the red bars, both giving me good safe distance add clear. I assume the same would be for blast fernace in both cases.
Your suggestions are very solid good perks too, but i feel like these should not be overlooked. Yes they are paradoxal and may have better options, but firefly amd tremors on ranged kinetics i feel is a very solid option for safew distance add clear in all ranges of difficulty. If you want to be closer though like with midnight, payload tremors is best, or utility like shoot to loot tremors of orbs tremors.

It saves vault space, it’s a roll that is versatile and both perks don’t have any weird requirements
You shouldn’t be struggling that hard on vault space that you can only afford 1 copy of a weapons, especially with the extra 100 slots coming in final shape
Dont let anyone tell you how to use vault space.
God roll is what you like. Don't ask someone "is this a godroll?" if you know what you want, or like what a gun has
I actually adore my Attrition Orb + Kinetic Tremors Midnight Coup. Roughly about the same time that Kinetic Tremors procs I get an orb of power, and if it kills more than one enemy with a kinetic siphon, I make another. Easy 2 orbs for 1 melt + 1 kill.
I guess you could say it's a... perfect...paradox...

Tremors + frenzy would be good but I’ll take tremors + explosive payload.
Exp payload + OFA is incredidible on midnight coup. Especially in onslaught where a single round into a group of enemies will proc the buff.
Personally I've found with Hung Jury is that precision instrument and kinetic tremors let's you do more damage while activating KT. Definitely a more niche use since I've used it for yellow bars only but, it's a nice alternative that lets me be more liberally use special ammo elsewhere.
I have actually found a place for KT/FF in GM/ Master content. I found that KT would proc and do enough damage to weaken the ad/ major and surrounding enemies that the firefly explosion would finish off the already weakened nearby enemies. So I find it good for ad dense encounters.
I get that might not be for everyone but it’s still a good roll in my opinion. Good luck and happy hunting.
I personally use Explosive Payload + Desperate Measures because it compliments my Caliban's Hand build.
It’s almost like this roll is a dichotomy in of itself. If only I was as well versed in dichotomy’s as anakin skywalker. His aptitude was best displayed in his thesis on darth plageus the wise
I find the take that firefly is “pretty much useless” in end game content to be a wild take that lots of destiny TH-camrs are making.
I have used an ep firefly fatebringer for years and never felt firefly hindering my add killing
The term God-Roll is very subjective. It depends on play-style and preferred weapon, mostly.
I'm so unlucky, I've given up on god rolls and just try to avoid troll rolls.
Just use what ever combos you enjoy it’s most likely already gonna be good in your hands
First of all it’s not gonna take an entire magazine to kill a red bar, and kinetic tremors is still really good in easier content that has beefier enemies. But what you really want on a midnight coup is firefly or explosive payload with one for all.
Use your special or heavy on those beefier targets.

You have to be using absolute trash if you think you can't use your other weapons or abilities to clear out those enemies instead of KT.
@@yashugoyal1772 I never said I can’t, just that some enemies aren’t worth using a special or heavy weapon on but have enough health that KT can be activated. There are also situations where you don’t have any special or heavy ammo because you’ve already spent it and just haven’t gotten any ammo drops, which is usually the case for me.
Won't take an entire mag with midnight coup, but any legendary primary that isnt a hand cannon is complete garbage. Exotic primary, legendary hand cannon, or double special is optimal 99% of time right now.
We all love hand cannons but the rest of the legendary primaries need to continue to see buffs.
Best rolls on midnight coup are firefly one for all for non-GMs and explosive kinetic tremors for higher difficulty content
I focussed Hung Jury first because it's one of my favorite weapons, no matter what people think about having 4 versions in the game. Managed to get a shiny with Tremors/Rewind + One for All/Firefly. I would trade Firefly in a heartbeat for Explosive Payload for exactly the reasons you described. When I can Enhance the perks I'll be more likely to rock Tremors and Firely together as a multi-tool for bounty farming, but not until then.
Exactly. Was wondering what people were talking about, because KT never procs on the enemies that Firefly procs on, and vice versa.
They're great perks, just not together. It's like getting a weapon with overflow and heal clip lol.
Plus, kinetic tremors could steal your last crit to proc firefly in some situations

Attrition orbs + kinetic tremors on the midnight coup is a very useful role aswell since KT helps proc AO I have used it alot in onslaught and I like it a good bit.

Thanks for the video! I believe we agree that, in essence, these BRAVE weapons have decent situational rolls but I can't see any roll combination that would be really powerful/special for all around use. We have better weapon options. In my opinion anyway. Cheers.
It feels more like a roll for middle tier content & to have a better reload perk than outlaw on crit kills. Its more of a fun roll & jack of all trades kinda thing
Ofa is my all time favorite gm perk, nearly infinite uptime and super easy to proc. Frenzy and explosive payload are right behind it with frenzy giving the reload buff and ep having aoe with zero activation time. Kinetic tremors has been ceeping up to be my favorite which is why it combined with OFA is my personal godroll and it's unfortunate Midnight Coup can't get those 2 at the same time like Blast and Hung Jury can.
I have one with explosive payload and desperate measures that I really like. I use it in onslaught where I need to take ads down faster but in slower content I prefer to use my firefly frenzy role for the pretty colors. I’m going to look for the role you mentioned to see how I like it.
You can use this roll quite well in low tier content, you still proc KT on anything not red bar, and you are still getting kills in GM's, so firefly still proc plenty
Firefly/One for All Shiny Midnight Coup supremacy.
I’ve used a Firefly Midnight in legend onslaught. It works very well for red bars like thrall or dregs. The explosions take out a few at a time. But I agree anything tankier should be dealt with using special or heavy if available.
EP + Frenzy on coup is what I run, it's the best imo
The problem is that harder content it's just not good. But for most things it's fun. For harder content and even easy content i love my shiny roll explosive payload/one for all/desperate measures. Love being able to switch it when i need it.
Finally got a shiny Midnight Coup to drop...Explosive payload with both Kinetic Tremors and Frenzy. (cork screw, tac mag and range MW). Really like having the option on the 4th perk. Happy camper here!
thats a fat misconception that redbars take the whole mag for GMs
Explosive, kinetic on both coup and jury. Blast furnace I’ve only used for pvp.
my favorite roll that I have brought into gms, legend 50s, and just about everything in-between is firefly/OFA. Firefly procs OFA and it is so easy to keep up.

I was using a fire fly midnight coup during oryx pantheon and it was absolutely devastating any ad I seen while being 10 light under so yeah ehroar is definitely delusional
There are a couple misspoken words in the video that make it confusing, especially during the Midnight Coup part. I have all of those rolls, but the one I like right now is Explosive Payload / Frenzy. Desperate Measures on it instead of Frenzy isn’t bad either. Casually, I like the Firefly / Kinetic Tremors roll for fun.
good point but firefly isnt entirely useless in endgame content because it also gives faster reloads which is useful, but your point still stands, specialised weapons are better than jack of all trades type weapons with the current d2 sandbox.

I personally just really love kinetic tremors. Ever since I got it on the vanguard season of the witch smg with overflow. My favorite kinetic primary in the game by far.
Firefly for minor/low health enemies & KT for higher health enemies. It's not a "paradox", it's a Swiss Army knife.

Personally on MC FF and KT is very hard to beat. Easy content hand canons already 1-2 shot to the head so you dont need a dmg perk and for hard content KT is really good especially for majors and champs. Its a AoE monster
Would be better if they changed the amount of bullets to proc. Definitely keeping some of those rolls.
I like Firefly + one for all in lower tier content because with a headshot one shot kill, you hit the first enemy and with the explosion you hit the other 2 enemies to proc one for all and with the 30% dmg buff the majors are easily dead with 2 headshots.
But the Kinetic tremors + firefly roll is good for all kind of content (like he said) low level ad clear with fire fly and good dmg against majors and all type of enemies on higher tier content
Seeeee, I knew I wasn’t crazy, I prefer KT + OFA for hard content and then I’d never use a pulse in low content so that solves that for me
I think firefly kinetic is the closest thing to running a solar handcannon as i could, using epochal for this entire season showed me i didnt have any kinetic guns i liked for primaries. Hcs do a ton of damage to redbars and majors now so they feel much better and mid coup fits the bill, and firefly is ocasionally giving me sunspots.
Kinetic and one for all is pretty good too
I got gold hung jury with kinetic tremors explosive payload and it’s amazing. Scouts are a champ mod most of the time so it’s a good roll

I use explosive+Ofa on midnight that shit fucking SLAPS other than that I want kinetic tremors+Ofa on the pulse
also firefly and rewindrounds, work just like it does with subsistence, the firefly damage counts as a hit, so as long as you keep getting hits with firefly your magazine will always be full, imo i think its better paired with rewind because it doesnt require kills like subsistence does
Pointless combo when explosive payload counts as 2 shots for rewind rounds. So you basically have a bottomless magazine with rewind and ep without even needing to kill anything
Ehroar I give you a lot of credit for being well informed in pve content but how can you ignore OFA on the midnight coupe? Firefly and OFA or Explosive and OFA slap in any form of content

I think explosive one for all is better on the hand cannon and scout. I think kinetic tremors one for all is better on the buses. One for all is just really good in all content

Think you missed the mark on this one, Kinetic weapons are dead for add claear right now. in game your primary weapons should have some interaction with some subclass verb to be the most optimal, in harder content where subclass verbs may be harder to get then some kinetic weapons can be used BUT in harder content its wiser to just use a bow, hits the hardest and and the furthest
EP + OFA is the easiest way for consistent damage for Master/GM.
Firefly + OFA = big boom go Brr for easy content. OFA makes it easier for firefly to keep triggering so it works well.
Firefly + KT niche kicks in at immediate content though. Like legend-tier content. You still proc firefly enough to make use of the free AOE damage and reload speed. But you also have KT which helps speed things up.
The best Firefly + KT roll is still the Blast Furnance though. Easy to proc.
As much as I absolutely adore Midnight Coup (Had about 20k kills with it before the sunset) I just can't see myself using the new one over Fatebringer Timelost.
Its just hard to justify using a legendary primary in any PvE activity right now. Which is crazy because a year ago we were saying the opposite.
Nah, you just need exotic primaries on activities that require good ammo management.
Only good feeling legendary primaries anymore are sidearms and hand cannons. Even smg’s in pve feel like 💩 now. Sidearms just suffer from poor range and small mag size
tbh, i just prefer using exotic primary now, flat out doling more damage

Sure but only half of your weapon is useful in each difficulty
I only use kinetic primaries to stun enemies, the rest is for my energy weapon. You are just tickling the enemies with these guns now
That's why a perk like kinetic tremors is good is does way more than just tickle enemies
It doesnt do any damage on the enemie you are shooting on. It doesnt activate easily enough for it to be worth using it. Its nice for large groups of red bar enemies but thats it. Its just my opinion, if you like using it.. go for it👍

I've completed at least 7x Legend 50 onslaught and other failed runs this week and haven't had ONE SHINY drop this past entire week. F this game!
This is what happens when we get rng back an dont have a crafting system. You are now subject to RNG >:).
i got a shiney coup that landed explosive and firefly in the left and kinetic tremors and opening shot in the right.. Its the one drop that allows me to delete all others. its already got just under 3k kills.
For consistance I prefer explosive.
I have a Shiny Midnight Coup w/ Firefly + Shoot to Loot in the 3rd column and Kinetic Tremors + Desperate Measures in the 4th literally never using another HC again 😂
Hey Ehroar! Mind if I ask what Void setup you're using in this vid? When i've tried to use Contraverse Hold this season, it's felt... off? I'm wondering if it's a build thing or if there's a bug on the exotic? Curious to hear your thoughts on the build this season/for Onslaught.
Exotics that refund ability energy all got nerfed with that march 5th update.
