You really are an RC Master with all your knowledge Saul. Ouch the hit from the car would have hurt 😢
Bugger about the ESC no luck 😔
    Cheers mate 😎

Oh man thanks, I know a little but I wouldn't claim the Master title, what that old saying, "Jack of all trades, Master of none"😄
The hit was just frustration, all I cut out was me swearing at the grass the berms and myself🤣
The esc definitely sucked though, they are not cheap even if I had money, going to use the one out of my Savage XL and probably sell the XL if I get a fair offer, reminds me too much that I used to own a Xmaxx anyway😓
      Cheers mate!

That's handling the track + jumps with ease !
My Max 8 always gets hot. I run a 13t pinion on my Kagama 6 and the ESC overheats.
My truck is overweight, so it's kinda my fault, but the Max 8 needs a better fan, too, or a bigger heatsink or something.
And then a few days ago, the fan wire got jammed in the blades. It got up to 235 degrees (F) and it didn't thermal cutoff, though it stank like a factory.
I'm not the biggest Max 8 fan, and I wish I'd have paid the extra $30 for a Max 6. I kick myself for that every time it overheats. 😮

Yeah the 6s system helps massively with air control and solid with the wider stance🤩
100% agree with you on the Max8 vs Max6 especially if you get the G2 version, although a Max6 would be a squeeze to fit in this car being physically bigger than the 8.
I have to run 160a escs on all my cars with 40mm motors though, I'd have a pile of dead 150a escs by now if I didn't😅

Great bashing, the arms seems to make it more planted. Awesome vid mate👍🏼

Yeah it felt very stable, glad it didn't look funny being so wide.
      Thanks mate😁👍

Good video. Nice bash session. Except for the dead speed controller, of course.

Just need bigger jumps next time to really test it out👌

Bummer on the ESC 😢 And, did you hit yourself when the car came off the jump? The dimensions of the car remind me of the Jambo now. Gotta love a hybrid build!

I think the esc was my fault, the caps were already damaged, maybe a cap external pack would've saved it.
Yes got smashed in the leg but didn't really hurt just frustrated me, cut out all my swearing😆
The car does feels much more like a stunt truck in this configuration, I like it, love all your creations especially your stretched kraton🤘
      Thanks mate!

I mentioned doing this with the spark in the corally group on facebook just yesterday an here you come to answer my questions lol

      Ah nice that's awesome😅
It's a great upgrade for the Kagama and I'm sure it would be just as good for the Spark👌
They have the same arms as the Python right?

Nice , i think a 2500 kv motor and stock esc with 15 t pinion is good choice…

    • @rccrazy
      @rccrazy  8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

Well actually after watching the stock car again I think a 2500kv motor with a 15t pinion would overload the esc as it was already cogging with the stock 2150kv and stock 13t pinion.
2500kv would heat up a lot in this size car aswell.
I'm going to steel the 6s esc out of my HPI Savage👌

hey mate, ive broken a few Kronos xtr arms, do you think the Kagama XLR arms for fit? have to be stronger with the red spacers at the hinge pins.

    • @rccrazy
      @rccrazy  9 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

I have broken a few Kronos arms also, never thought of getting the Kagama arms for it.
Yes I think the 6s Kagama arms are a bit tougher aswell as having the red sleeves, definitely worth trying👌

@ yeah your video got me thinking!! Front cv are the same part number so they Gota fit! Keep the corally vids coming!

Any ideals about what CVDS would fit for the Kagama 6S? I keep bending them and the front ones keep snapping. I tried the Kraton 6S and they are too long.

Sorry I don't have the Kagama 6s, can't really help.
