I’m sure you’ve answered this 1000 times but what it the logic behind the chisel and knives? Was that taught to you or did you just experiment? I would’ve thought that would ruin the leather but it seems to work wonderful! Thanks for the content!
If it’s real leather, I doubt you’d have to worry about it. Leather is scraped repeatedly when being made to get any hair off, so I’m sure a little bit of light scraping here wouldn’t harm them as long as you’re not just digging into the material and staying surface level.
