I *love* that you included Tony taking the measurements of your left foot as well! That being excluded was my biggest gripe with the original, so that automatically elevates this video imo

I feel like a slightly raised platform for clients to stand on for this would make this guys job a lot easier on his back and joints.

that's what i thought. a platform and a small stool for him not to be on his knees and that's it.
My guess is that the floor provides guaranteed stability. A stool can become unstable over time. It's also why he's on the hard floor and not on the carpet.
@@matthewstroud7721 I think what they are referring to is just a raised platform, like a solid block with tiny stairs and feet measurement tools included about 0.5-1m high. They would have that in my local shoe shop when I grew up. If you put a chair next to it and sit, measuring is a whole lot more comfortable. Having your feet measured on those platforms was my favourite thing about going shopping for shoes.

This might sound weird but the last time I got my feet measured I almost fell asleep because the process felt so nice, drawing round the foot etc, it was so relaxing
The original video was my favourite of all time, this has now superseded it, so pleased you’ve now included the left foot…. Life is now balanced. All your videos should be like this, no background music and limited asking questions, let the expert talk.

I'm entranced by this guy's watch. It looks like a very bespoke Rolex Daytona but I'm not 100% sure. Edit: Found it! It's a Breitling Chronomat 44 CB0110! Lovely piece.

As I asked under the Cream of ASMR version… why doesn’t he have some kind of riser or platform for Kirby to stand on so he doesn’t have to be on his knees leaning down so far?!
Before you did these ASMR videos I was listening to this video and the double bespoke video on repeat during sleep as I struggle to sleep without noise. You have a few videos this could be done on. Maybe a selection from the Suit to Shoot series might be good

A standing measure accounts for the arch ‘collapse’ which ordinarily is about a 1/4” longer measure. A Lobb trace measure is without the ‘collapsed’ arch which is a natural rested arch position. The last is adjusted to allow some extension but can still provide support of the arch. The standing measure only, assumes that all is good with the arch but this may not be the case. I am in favour of measuring the rested and standing state of the foot to determine the degree of arch collapse. Too much or too little arch support is uncomfortable and tiring in equal measure.
Another measure, I’m pretty sure was performed by the same business, had a seated and standing set of measurements.

I am not sure if you will ever read this comment, but maybe one of the other viewers can help me as well. You are obviously very well dressed, with bespoke shoes and suits the whole thing. I noticed, however, that the end of your tie is visibly hanging longer than the front part. Isn't this somewhat of an avoidable mistake considering all the effort that was invested in your outfit?
I would appreciate your assessment on this matter. Is it possibly normal to see the thin end of a tie?
NO. If you haven't learnt to tie a tie before you've left school, then there's no hope for you. If you went into my old school with that tie in such shite order, you'd get detention until you learn it properly
I know I’m not the expert, but it would seem so much easier for the customer to walk up onto some sort of platform and measure the feet where u wouldnt have to crouch on your knees. Great video though. Really enjoyed it.
The customer keeps looking around like he’s late going back into the office from his lunch break and the guy is taking too long 😂

Honestly if im oaying a fortune for completely custom made shoes that are made to be 100% made for my own needs, id feel very safe with a man on his hands and knees tracing every detail of my individual bones for the mold of the shoe hahahaba
