When foreign vloggers came to Bangladesh few years before, they used to make a wrong impression of Bangladesh by just showcasing places like old Dhaka and Karwan Bazar, which are chaotic and dirty. Although nowadays that tendency has changed and the vloggers are exploring the modern Dhaka as well. But still few vloggers go out of the city and explore the raw beauty of Bangladesh. Thanks Jason, Chester lad here! 😊 Thanks for taking on board my suggestion of the metro from my first ever comment on your first Bangladesh video of 2024, if not I'm sure I was one of several who suggested it, but I'll willingly take the credit lol! 🤣 I too travelled to Agargaon but from the opposite side of the line, Uttara North so I went down the same steps as you! Unfortunately that's where the metro terminated back in December so earlier this month the full line was opened on a full time basis. I'm glad you showed that the country is developing as a contrast because many people think of Bangladesh rife in poverty. I must say you can now get a decent barista coffee over as no doubt you've enjoyed, prices are almost on par (but a touch cheaper) with the UK / Ireland taking into consideration the exchange rate, but once you head into rural areas you'll have to contend with sachets of Necafé's "finest" instant, but after all it is a tea country as you know from your Sreemangal visit!
