Cool wardrobe: check Fun weapons you actually use instead of simply collecting: check A supportive cast that actually helps you: check Great writing: check Iconic cut scenes: check Stellar soundtrack: check Cool collectibles you actually want to look for: check.

The original top view games were an arcade illustration of the crime world played to their absurd extreme. Admittedly, yes, modern day GTA has excellent voice actors, cinematic cut scenes, and great graphics (except for GTA San Andreas). Likewise, great open world designs (GTA San Andreas is my favorite in that respect). But, for me, once I got to GTA Liberty City Stories, I lost complete interest in the franchise because it was so repetitive and boring: Go here. Kill the guy. Collect money, respect, etc. Arguably, Mafia III has assassination elements. But, the game has far greater variety of missions. And, a deeply immersive story with greater poignancy than any GTA game. I never felt any connection to Claude other than to his iconic look and the intro song to the game. Tommy Vercetti, Niko Belic and C.J had interesting stories. But, they mostly washed down with McGuffins and wild goose chases. GTA 5 was really just much ado about nothing with guns. Even the mission with Steve Haines where you sneak into the laboratory felt completely out of place. Same for the underwater experiment you steal where you don’t make squat. As for Mafia III, the opening mission where you sneak into Cassandra’s voodoo commune set the tone for the game with stealth mechanics, strategic combat, and body disposal. Moving forward, the escape after the Federal Deposit heist is one of my favorite moments in gaming. Leading up to Lincoln’s betrayal and the beginning of his revenge arc. Side note, I love that you can rebuild Sammy’s bar as you build your business empire. That side quest lends the story depth and purpose for your actions; beyond kill the guy who betrayed you. Nevertheless, I loved the final confrontation with Sal Marcano. An iconic gaming ending I will never forget.
Never picked up this game cause everyone says its so repetitive, yet it still looks fun to play. The kills are brutal (in a good way lol) in your vid and the fact that you have the hud off is nice. You shouldn't need a mod to be able to take the radar off in these types games. I personally never use radars or x-ray vision, they just ruin the experience for me. You didn't even use a crosshair, that's some skills. Great video.
This game so good along with Mafia (The City of Lost Heaven & Remake together) and Mafia 2. Classic, beautiful and badass. That stealth system so interesting, in some missions I use that system, but sometimes just rushing through the big-ass enemy groups😂

Technically, this is realistic because the punisher was black in a couple of issues of his comics number #59 to #62 and by the end of it he turned back normal. I think it was through like some cosmetic surgery or something.

Played all the mafias, this one was by far the best. Ngl though, Vito’s story was amazing.
