The assault on the hotel in this mission reminded me of the final part of Josh Brolin's Gangster Squad. I really think there was a lot of inspiration to make the gunfights in this game as epic and immersive as possible.
Nice to see you replay Mafia III in 4K, Will! This game may be far from perfect, but I certainly enjoyed its memorable moments. If only its mission structure revolving around the racket system was more creative and interesting, more people would've showed more love to this game. 😅 Here's hoping that Mafia IV does even better and learns from the mistakes of the previous games, especially from Mafia III. 🤞🏻
Agreed! The racket system does feel like a grind, but once you've played the game a few times it's so easy to speed through them. The main missions still make it worth it and gameplay is always fun regardless. :)
I always liked taking Dominick's car because there's the cutscene of the guy saying; "And all these men (Marcano's mobsters) showed up and every one of them had a gun, they ran into the Royal and that's when the shootin' started." Idk why lol but i always liked him saying that. Also kinda shows how the average citizen doesn't know he lives in a city controlled by a Crime Family. Marcano was just a rich "business man".
And this is why Mafia 3 will always beat GTA in gameplay cause shooting and getting headshots is just soo satisfying. Plus the brutal executions are freaken awesome
I don’t know who had it worse. Richie Doucet (Hung from a Ferris Wheel), Tony Derazio(Thrown from the building), Remy Duvall(Burned on a cross), Uncle Lou(Hung from a statue), or Olivia Marcano (Ear to Ear)
@@StraightOutThaGudda4U Well it was poetic since Duvall is a klanman. I thought the most brutal was the ferris wheel. Out of all the deaths I thought Tommy was the most merciful since he died accepting his fate. Only Marcano to not have his throat slit
LOL, that Mafia 3 physics goofiness! @14:20 right as Lincoln is getting in the DeLeo, the cop car in the background is doing a wheelie around a support in the parking garage.
I think Lincoln would have spared most of the Lieutenants. Enzo-He and Sammy go back Frank-He gave Lincoln information and the poor guy didn’t know what was going on and had a wife and kids Tony-He was a psychopath who didn’t care whether he lived or died so he definelty wasn’t spared.
Lincoln Clay having served in 5th special forces aka the green berets. Those fools never even stood a chance. Those green berets, they're real bad asses. I've met some
This is one of my favorite lieutenants in the whole game, also my favorite missions. He is just the perfect man to ruin spot on. 🎯 You also see the pure evil in him as he shoots Joe. Especially the ROYAL HOTEL, perfect to wipe out the whole operation. The rocket launcher was also a nice catch. 🔥
For me this game was very fun, I mean I went from playing pure PSP games, Gameboy, basically games with simple and sometimes 2D graphics and playing Mafia 3 when I made the leap to the new generation (the PS4 and Xbox One at that time new generation ) it was spectacular to play mafia 3 in general it makes me nostalgic
Fun fact: at 11:42, the people who respond will change based on which path you took. If you took the quiet path, Marcano’s men respond. Loud? Police.
Thats really cool
@@Gh0stFace420And guys will be waiting for him at the elevator at 4:53
This mission is so badass. Lincoln is scary af.
He's basically "The Punisher" of the 1960s...
@@Willzyyy true. The way he walk is terminator
@@Willzyyy I don't see any other reason to think that he's not.
I think there's a video that explains why exactly that's the case.
@@Willzyyyi mean technically the punisher is the punisher of the 1960s. He was originally a Vietnam vet. Sorry I'll leave now 😂

It’s insane that Lincoln threw Tony out of the hotel window.
I loved it when he threw Tony. Bro deserves it.
Most insane moment in #Mafia game history.
dont forget he also hang that fat dude at ferris wheel
And he parked his car right there 3:00

And bloodier... ;)
@@Willzyyy, which means: +fun! :D
(I wish it had dismemberment in the next mafia game. With shotguns in the head and chainsaws)
By far, my most favorite mission in the game.
The more i watch Mafia 3, the more i get Saint Row 2 Vibes, SR Playa as Lincoln Clay and Donovan as Gat.
Dynamic duo

The gunplay in Mafia 3 is still the best in the series and in my opinion better than GTA 5's too.
@@Willzyyypretty easy to beat V in gunplay lmao. But ye love it in Mafia 3
V is pretty much a cover shooter. Can’t even do executions in that game.
But you can still die so easily it's fuckin frustrating but cool feature that GTA 5 barely has where it's just slow and takes time.
That's not true coz gta is one of the best games in the world
Hey Willzyyy this mission was crazy keep up the great work

Lincoln's even wearing the same outfit as CJ in the mission! 👀
@@Willzyyy yeah I can see that 👀
In crazy how good this game is compared to half the crap now
wished a glove and fedora'd version of Derazio's outfit was available
I guess I'm now convinced how deep Tony's control on the hotel reaches. Unfortunately not anymore as he reached down. That's Downtown for him.
Willzyyy;what's the difficulty u played?
Mafia 3 OST gave me RDR2 loading screen music vibes.
Hmm, never knew just going through the front lobby would lead to this.
