Gohan was supposed to learn from his fight with Super Perfect Cell, but after unlocking the Ultimate form he seems to regress back to a Cell Saga mentality. Ultimate Gohan is power drunk and that allows Super Buu to adsorb Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks and Piccolo. So today I discuss what if Ultimate Gohan killed Super Buu in the Buu Arc?

@Michael Roldan Gohan beat Cell and that was a main Villain and sure Vegeta doesn't beat a main villain but he is just as strong and influential as Goku maybe the writing screws him over sure but its not that big of a deal.
Also no, Im debunking this now but in every word of akira toryiama and in the manga Gohan was not fit to be a main character, he said Gohan doesn't fit to replace Goku and a nerd, everyone saying Gohan was meant to be mc is just propaganda made up by huge American Gohan fans that don't respect Toryiama or the original characters.

How would zamasu steal goku body? He didn't see him fight and he doesn't even KNOW goku. He doesn't have God ki or the power of a god, so zamasu urges would be suppressed and he wouldn't start the zero mortals plan

Future Trunks' timeline remains the same. I doesn't matter what happens in the present, the future will always remain the same. When trunks changed the past it didn't change his future so Goku black would still happen.
Now THIS is what I wanted. This feels like a closure to the series of DBZ.

Great A Did he even have time to go back? Like, I know Instant Transmission is instant, but Cell looked like he was probably ready to burst any second when Goku took him to King Kai's planet, and unless Goku came in within an arm's reach of King Kai, Gregory and Bubbles all at once, I don't think he would've had time to get in and out with all of them in tow. Hell, if he had time to get in and out by himself, one would think he'd've done it.

This should have happened. Think about it. Super buu nearly killed his entire race, killed his most of his friends, killed his mother, and tortured his little brother! If Gohan killed Super Buu, it would be the most satisfying moment in dbz history!
Gohan had no excuse to not realize random threats could pop up at any time and that he should be ready for them after the Buu saga tbh. I’m ok with not realizing after Cell since there wasn’t really a precedent of things happening without warning for battle ready Gohan besides mecha Frieza and that became a non-issue when Trunks showed up.

Every time you said "the sky went black" or "but not all Earth's were peaceful" I kept thinking a "and here's where zeno wipes the universe cuz he never met Goku and thus never held the tournament of power" haha.
Might not have happened at all, the Future Zeno never wiped out the universes so maybe without Goku nothing sets him down the path to erase them.

What if there was no mortal Time Traveling and Fortune Teller Baba warn Goku about the androids and heart virus instead.
What if Gohan marries Android 18 instead (when hes old enough) and they have a blonde haired pan! the time of her birth doesn't change (age mr satan up a bit so he can be 17 and 18's long lost biological father and still be pan's grandfather)
What if a weak vegeta came to earth first and have nappa come later with Prince Raditz!
What if Hatchiyack, Mira, Towa, Chronoa, Android 21, Hearts, Fu, etc... were canon. (and baby but when they get to Age 789 or 790 i forget)
What if Universe 7 had an all female or feminine god hierarchy. an Android 21 majin like destroyer a yin and yang situation like kami and piccolo or the nine tales fox used to be one with majin buu but split apart 80 millions years ago or somethin. well vados OR cus OR a towa like angel or Vadowa was the angel :O! and chronoa replaces old kai in the z sword! and shin and kibito and the 4 kais and grand kai are still around.
What if Piccolo became the guardian of earth instead of dende and Vegeta either was elected to be king of earth during the 7 year time skip or became emperor of the universe sometime between Age 764 to Age 766 after future goku or future trunks defeated mecha frieza and kind cold! and he turns the frieza force into a force for good! getting ride of the bad apples.
What if beerus retires and chooses broly as his successor, time passes and Whis gets the Super Dragon Balls and wishes to turn cheelai into a grand supreme kai! :) and universe 7 became the highest ranking universe with that trio watching over it! :)

and Krillin marries Maron and has a Daughter named Marron.

@@ppnexus2000 that kind the make no sense at all true goku will never learn ssj 3 but with goku around Gohan would keep up his training and vegeta would never have any issue fighting Goku since him already countless fighting him over 7 years
Fat Buu ain’t even that strong especially against a group of super saiyan 2s that have been training for years. Majin vegeta was already giving him some trouble so 2 or 3 beings with the same amount of power would flatten Buu.

I like this story already, but I especially love the transition to goku black, I think a cool crossover could be made since we are dealing with other universes kais and such and could see broly and beerus, but even if not, the TOP will probably introduce them along with goku and vegeta temporarily
Dende was the guardian of Earth at that time and Nail said in the Namek saga he said that there dragonballs could bring back anyone an infine number of times so Dende would've made the new dragonballs just like that so they could bring Vegeta back but most likely would've said exactly what he did say.

Well done! As for concerns regarding the Goku Black timeline, I would argue that Future Trunks' era exists in a state of limbo, disconnected, but not entirely seperate from the canon timeline. A version of Black could still exist, but not from the Son family. I think it would be far more interesting to see Zamasu possess the body of the mortal who dared to tamper with time...
This is how I thought it should have been since I first finished the Buu arc. The way it is disappointed me because Gohan fell into the same shit again

As honestly, I never got why Whis and Beerus wouldn't go to King Kai's world, Goku likely would still be there when Beerus wakes up, so that would eventually lead to Vegeta and Goku being revived either by namekian DBs or by Whis so one of the 3 could become the Super Saiyan God.
When Goku and Vegeta fighted against Kid Buu... Goku just needed to teleport back to Earth and bring Gohan to Beat Kid Buu...
Unless Goku & Vegeta somehow surpassed Ultimate Gohan by that point. Like from the portara fusion & fighting Kid Buu overtime.

You know I kinda like this alternate timeline. Gohan gets to be the hero he could've been, Vegeta gets a pretty happy ending and the slightly somber ending with Chi Chi and Bulma. Just a bit sad there's no Frieza OR Beerus arc. Pretty cool! Looking forward to the Gohan, Goku Black one.

Honestly I don't understand why they all don't already. They didn't even give it to Future Trunks when he all of people desperately needed that kind of power boost.

Why did I start getting emotional during your version of Vegetas part with King Yema
I feel like a timeline where this is canon is Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn. The movie seems to take place after the whole Majin Buu Arc but at the same time Goku and Vegeta are still dead. Not to mention Goten and Trunks do the fusion dance in the movie. So I believe Fusion Reborn is set in a timeline where Gohan defeated Majin Buu himself and then the group used the Dragon Balls to wish everybody back. I’m honestly interested on how far a timeline that will go. While Gohan is the main character is doesn’t mean that Goku and Vegeta are doing nothing (because they were basically the main characters of Fusion Reborn. You could say that Fusion Reborn was just an arc after the Majin Buu Arc).
The janemba movie is what would happen i guess. It seems to derive from a storyline where gohan kills buu.

Wrong-O Carthu. Beerus would still go to Goku on King Kai’s planet since he’s the first Super Saiyan in centuries and killed Frieza. Regardless if he’s dead or alive. Goku and in this case Vegeta fights and loses to Beerus and Beerus comes to Earth for Gohan at Bulma’s birthday party. Fortunately with Buu dead, the party goes on normally until Goku tells them through King Kai to use the Dragon Balls about the Super Saiyan God. Since there’s only four Saiyans, Beerus will order Whis to revive Goku and Vegeta to complete the ritual. Goku still becomes the Super Saiyan God and battles Beerus and the rest of the story continues as it does originally with the exception that Gohan’s still training. The Battle of Gods is inevitable as destiny. Sorry Broly but you’re gonna have to wait:(

He already has an ultimate gift from the Supreme Kais and wants his newly unlocked potential to be pushed to new heights once he masters it and he’s only a half-Saiyan. This ritual is for the true Saiyans like Goku or Vegeta.

It's possible that they unlock a lvl beyond SSJ3, becoming about as strong, if not stronger than their Super counterparts, just without God ki.

Vegeta was never brought back to life by Shenron though. After Frieza killed him, he was brought back by Porunga, so Shenron would be able to revive Vegeta.

Wrong, piccolo was brought back by porunga and they then used earth's dragon balls to bring back everyone killed by freeza and his men, then they used the 3rd wish on porunga (the second was bringing piccolo to namek) to send all but goku and freeza to earth
You missed a BIG point with beerus saying he doesn’t go to earth , in the main story he goes to king Kai planet to fight goku the person who defeated freezia , he’d get there and find Goku and vegeta and in this story Goku and vegeta constantly training together in the afterlife for 4 years they’d atleast be 10x stronger then they were in battle of Gods . Now they don’t beat beerus , but if the super SAyian god plays out the same Goku wins or loses extreme difficulty. But this is a Gohan story so I can see why you might of ignored that

Hey Carthu, how strong is Gohan’s Ultimate Form(example: SSJx 20, 40, 80,etc.) and how strong is Gohan’s base form is going compared to Goku, Vegeta, Goku Black in the Goku Black of this what if?
There is one other thing, Gohan could also potentially use SSJ with Ultimate as stated by Goku in the buildup for the tournament of power, so whatever the multiplier is, it can be increased to 50x Ultimate with Ultimate SSJ, and if Gohan gets to use God Ki, he can have Ultimate SSGSS.

I theorize this is how Fusion Reborn happened. It has Gotenks and seemingly Ultimate Gohan because he one punches Frieza in base. No use for Vegeta, Yemma sends him to Hell.
