Lived in Douglas for the first twelve years of my life, thanks for the nostalgia.

Ahhh, the memories. I lived on Douglas Island for 6 years. Every once in a while I think of going back.

Amazing campsite for sure. Cannot believe how much you sound like a younger Chevy Chase. Great content. Thank you.

Spent a summer here as a raft guide. Most incredible place I’ve ever been. Thanks for making me reminisce!

That must be incredible to raft there. And you're welcome!

Juneau is the only place I’ve lived where people will close businesses down if it’s sunny because people want to enjoy the sun.
By the way, that feeling of being lucky to be in such a beautiful place literally never goes away, even if you live here. Juneau is an insanely beautiful part of the world.

Wow, how have I missed this video before? Hopefully you checked the tide book before setting up on the beach. Tides right now it would be underwater.
Did you get to check out any of the old mine sites up on Mt. Roberts?

An “adventure” in southeast Alaska without rain feels downright deceptive.

True. Last year was one of the hottest summers we had ever. This year it’s completely opposite.
