Maybe a GoC playthrough where you basically enslave Xenos and use them to fight other Xenos? The possibilities are endless!

For mods, definitely give planetary diversity a try. The special worlds and new types, along with the modifiers make each planet be more unique and powerful
Personally, my favorite of the new planets is the Bioluminescent one, it produces exotic gas and loads of energy, but lacks the other 2 resources. I find this to be an amazing planet for a trading empire. This planet is an expansion of the original mod, though
I'd like to reccomend Planetery Diversity and it's submods as well. It's not as high powered as this one or as gigastructures, but it adds a lot of flavour in planet diversity, as well as Arcology variants. Also it adds an awesome reworked tree of life Origin that I love (as a Hivemind lover)

I said it before, and I will say it again, there is a mod called "Zenith of the Fallen Empires". It lets you become a fallen empire before it fell, giving access to the fallen empire buildings, ships, and of course, lots and lots of dakka. Sure it is... very very unbalanced, but when have paradox games been in the first place, and it is still somewhat balanced, having massive tech requirements for not only becoming an empire in your prime, but also getting the special buildings. Very fun, very op, much dakka, praise tzeentch.

If you plan on playing with Gigastructures I'd recommend using a mod that adds extra ascension perk slots, so you can use more of the mod in one playthrough.
I've always loved the Contingency as an end-game crisis, much more interesting than most of the others! I've never managed to do as well as you on Grand Admiral, much less with x25 endgame crisis... Nice work. Interesting set of mods, too.
with this model you able to add more variety to the hive mind and machine empires , a spiritualist hive mind that see itself as the god others should praise or a plant loving machine empire or something along those lines

I've watched all your playthroughs of the game, and learned so much about each and every path for my own Stellaris runs. Watching this modded playthrough is very unique and fun. I haven't messed with Stellaris mods too much, and seeing all these new civics and ethics, creating all these new empire types is great. With how good you are at micro managing this game, I'd have to say 100% I'd like to see more, since there's so many possibilities. We all appreciate the time you put into these, regardless of TH-cam not spreading your channel as much as you deserve.
hey lath an interesting idea, you played stellaris in hardest so much i think you should play it in normal difficulty for once. just to see how better you are since I and a lot of people play it in normal and we cant see it fully since I havent played hardest difficulty. Just make a 10 or 20 min video to show what you are doing looks like in normal difficult. Love your videos, keep making great content...
Something about listening to your voice chat about the game is very relaxing and humorous. Sometimes I just have your play through running in the background for ambient noise.

First off, he has already done these, second off, they are dead easy to play. Remember, he made a purposefully bad empire then won with it on the hardest difficulty.

I'd also like for him to play 2 spiral arm galaxy cuz it'll be something new, he only played a 4 spiral arm and said it was too easy.

Heya Lath, I think you are hitting just perfect balance on your Shilling! Doing a good intro to the setup, then dropping in the Call to Action as a slight commercial works really well. Not immersion breaking, and your audience is obviously responding positively because they love this content (as do I).

I do love the long-form videos. I know they're terrible for the algorithm, but as you said, the best way to watch a Stellaris playthrough is in one nice long video. I usually have them playing on my phone while I'm playing Civ 5 on my laptop. I can listen to Lathrix & watch for long stretches without having to be constantly switching focus, because I play single player & have done for thousands of hours.

I love this videos by you, not a lot of people doing Stellaris playthroughs in this brief and easily watchable manner. When you do your next run please leave the ethics mod on when you do your gigastructures run.
Holy shit, my first full playthrough of Stellaris was as fanatic materialist geckos that were obsessed with robots called the "Lokken Mechanists". They preferred living in their small corner of space (Because I was afraid of the administrative capacity lol) but were yet extremely proficient at advancing their tech. They had decent relations with most galaxy dwellers, but went into recline from diplomacy when they finally figured out how to become the machines they always wanted to be. When the contingency attacked, the galaxy seemed lost, until the Lokken broke their isolation and shut it down singlehandedly. Coincidences are fun.
Got to say, your 'chilling' is so unitrusive and interesting. I get why you hate it but I honestly dont mind it one bit, it flows with the video. Also, your "hidden" messages in FtD is fantastic!

I usually have them playing on my phone while I'm playing Civ 5 on my laptop. I can listen to Lathrix & watch for long stretches without having to be constantly switching focus, because I play single player & have done for thousands of hours.
For every minute of this video, there are nearly 2 hours of gameplay behind it

I love this videos by you, not a lot of people doing Stellaris playthroughs in this brief and easily watchable manner. When you do your next run please leave the ethics mod on when you do your gigastructures run.
Holy shit, my first full playthrough of Stellaris was as fanatic materialist geckos that were obsessed with robots called the "Lokken Mechanists".
They preferred living in their small corner of space (Because I was afraid of the administrative capacity lol) but were yet extremely proficient at advancing their tech. They had decent relations with most galaxy dwellers, but went into recline from diplomacy when they finally figured out how to become the machines they always wanted to be.
When the contingency attacked, the galaxy seemed lost, until the Lokken broke their isolation and shut it down singlehandedly.
Coincidences are fun.

Got to say, your 'chilling' is so unitrusive and interesting. I get why you hate it but I honestly dont mind it one bit, it flows with the video. Also, your "hidden" messages in FtD is fantastic!
