It's astounding how many people hate raising with pairs preflop because they're so scared that if they don't hit their card or if there is even 1 over card they're like "welp I'm dead" it's stupid but also makes them predictable to play against
The only incentive for him to 3bet with 10s is to build a pot if a set does come. You're not gonna win with a pair of 10s in a showdown most likely. It's a conservative play for sure though.

I actually hate hands like this, where a player who is hopelessly behind, and should just fold, makes a play that alters the dynamic of the hand. Like he wants to go out in a blaze of glory, thinking it's somehow better if someone else loses big at the same time he does.
When you're facing a big bet in a critical spot, the FIRST question you must ask is this: Is my opponent ever value betting with a hand that is inferior to mine?
This is why... You should only play Tournament poker. Whether your pocket can afford $50 dollar buy ins, or/up to $50,000 high roller, you can always reload. The gambler like Ali will never win tournament poker, its far more skilful and prestige to anyone who wins a tournament... Because in the most, you know you played well... And earnt it. Most of these players on this table are "Gamblers"..

He did raise to 46k, the graphics are wrong, you can see him pull 2k back from the 8k so left him with 6k plus the 40k he put in, 46k.
