Hi Alice. I had some hypopressive training a couple of years ago and do a few minutes a day. I've been struggling with tight pelvic floor I'm a very stressy person lol. Did this video this morning and then walked my dog. Wow the space and fluidity in my movements was amazing. Thank you.x
Thank you! I appreciate including a flow for rectocele! I’ve been doing hypopressives for two years. Still struggling with expanding ribs instead of flaring them. I really enjoy your cuing.
Hi Alice! These are great! Just FYI that your free guide system doesn't seem to be working. I've put in 2 of my email addresses and haven't gotten the pdf sent to either one. Thank you! Jennifer
Love all your videos, especially when there is some moving during the breath hold ❤ one question: an instructor told me to activate mula bandha (contract genitals, basically) during the apnea, is that correct?
Hello - so glad you're enjoying the flows! We don't cue a pelvic floor contraction during the apnea - there are quite a lot of different ways of teaching the hypopressives breathwork. If you're doing pelvic floor exercises as part of your routine, you're going to want to do them at a different time as hypopressives initiates an involuntary contraction of the pelvic floor - and we want to lean into that. Hope that's helpful!
Thanks for the message Linda - I don't yet, but the Hypopressives sequence for prolapse video is a great one for you to do and the Hypopressives Lift Miracle one too
Lovely, thank you! Would this help with initiating and/or completing a bowel movement? If not, perhaps there is a sequence you could suggest that would support the elimination process - - often a struggle with rectocole
It's best to breathe through a bowel movement, with your knees higher than your hips (using a stool) and not strain. Doing hypopressives first thing can often help you go too, as it stimulates the bowel 💙
Hi Dawn, so the breath to release can be a rest breath or the first breath of the next cycle of breathing - to blend the breathing cycles and poses together. Either is fine, and it varies on the flows here 💕
Hi Angelica, thanks for your message - there are more details on my website about Create Lift, the hypopressives symptom improvement programme we offer. My email is alice@alicehousman.co.uk 💙
Hello! Have a look at the beginners playlist as there's a whole load of videos explaining everything there and breaking down the breath work into easy steps. It does get easier, but there is a knack to it!
Hello! I'm not because I can't teach properly and do it myself, but yes, for anyone taking part the breathwork cues are all for a hypopressives vacuum breath / apnea. Hope that helps!
I think this is my favourite flow so far and one I keep coming back to - thank you!
Ah I love this one too!

Hi Tracy, great to have you here! So glad to hear you found the flow helpful 💕
So relaxing this morning
Ah great, such a fave x
Somehow I had missed this when you first posted it. I'm glad it was in the October calendar!
Glad you've had a go at this one - it's such a fave of mine!
Haven't tried this one and it was nice to feel the opening at the back of the pelvic floor.
Brilliant!

Thanks! Breathing more into your back and the sides of your rib cage should help with this :)
Same for me.
@@annas2672 Take it nice and slowly, and open the ribs by doing a 'false inhale' can help :)
Lovely low body release ✅
🙌🏻💙
Thank you Alice, interesting one 👍🏻
Love the poses for releasing 🙏🏻
Loved it!! Love all your routines, LOVE the variety, love your "teaching!" Thanks so much, Alice ☺
Thank you so much for your lovely message! So glad you're enjoying the flows 💫
I found your series the most interesting and useful for me. I was amazed by so many different poses you can do with hipopressive excercises. Thanks!

Ah I love this one too - so much feeling of lift :)
Great variety, but I feel as though I need to repeat this several more times to get the breathing right. Thank you. x
Well done Heather - this is a tricky one!
Thanks Alice still doing it loved this one, thankyou
Wonderful - great to have you here Rebecca!

Hi Jennifer, sorry about that and thanks for the heads up - it's all fixed now xx

Thank you so much Alice I so felt the lift in this . Do you have a flow for bladder prolapse?

Lovely routine. After doing the vacuum breath do you take a quick breath in as you release it, before starting again with another normal inhale?

What does stretch your ribs mean. This is the 1st video I've watched.
Hi there - welcome! Please head over to the beginners playlist for more info on hypopressives and the vacuum breath :)
Hello Alice, I am new to Hypopressive breathwork. I am seeing a therapist, but I can use some at-home help. How would I contact you?
Hi Angelica, thanks for your message - there are more details on my website about Create Lift, the hypopressives symptom improvement programme we offer. My email is alice@alicehousman.co.uk 💙
Do we do a kegel at the same time?
I'd recommend keeping the hypopressives practise and kegels practise separate!
Can I do this during menstruation also?
Yes, you can, completely your choice, but I do 👍🏻
When i saw the doctor she said that i have mild rectocyle.if i do this exercise will it go back to old way
Welcome! Hypopressives done correctly and consistently will really help, as well as avoiding constipation 💙
Stretching ribs? I find I wiggle a little is that ok?
Not sure how to stretch ribs and hold the exhale
