Ok so Netflix have just dropped the second volume of Stranger Things Season 4. Our Ending Explained is now here for the full season and throughout this video we're gonna be going through the plot, final few scenes and we'll also be giving our thoughts on the finale.
It's time to Vecna-self before you wreck yourself one last time so let's turn it up to Eleven and get into this mammoth of a finale that turns the entire show upside down.
Full spoilers from here on out and with that out the way, thanks for clicking this, now let's get into Stranger Things Season 4.
Ok so we last left a lot our characters at pivotal moments in show. Joyce had managed to make it out to Hopper out in Russia, Eleven's trip through Nina uncovered a big secret about Number One and elsewhere Nancy got stuck in his domain as she learned the truth about him.
Now we start off exactly where the last episode left off and huge shoutouts to Katy Leigh for pointing out that during the face off between Vecna and Eleven that the rainbow actually flipped upside down when it went to him. This traumatic moment in her life being recalled also brought back her powers which are now arguably stronger than ever, matching how Vecna has grown as well.
This fued continues throughout the two episodes with Vecna actually letting Nancy and freeing her instead of the music box being used like we theorised.
Speaking of being freed we cut to Hopper and Co who discover a lab attached to the prison that contains the elements of Mindflayer particles called The Shadow.
Rather than fleeing back to the US though, Hopper and the Gang decide to stay behind in Russia to destroy the Upside Down monsters that exist in the prison. Come the end of the Season Hopper makes it back to Hawkins and this is the true father and daughter relationship that Brenner and El's was only a shadow of. Love being empowering is very much a theme throughout this season and therefore I think that now Hop it'll empower Eleven beyond what she already has. She says goodbye to one father figure in this entry and therefore I think Hops more positive influence on her will be crucial to defeat The Mindflayer next time.
Now we discover that Vecna and The Mindflayer connected with one another in the Upside Down when he was sent there by Eleven. Together the pair schemed of a way to take over the rightside up and this involved unleashing the dark dimension on our world through Hawkins.

Eddie's metal scene was the greatest part.
I'm really glad max survived, but still sad about eddie. The part where Dustin tells eddies uncle that eddie died as a hero brought me to tears. Can't wait for season 5, and I know for a fact it's going to be amazing.

My- I just ended- I mean- I was a mess sufficing this battle , crying even after the vainest of scenes even the happy ones and fell harder amd faster for eddie but when he dies istg I didnt shed a tear of sorrow all it was proud over my manz to not run but *fight* for his homies and my heart swelled , seeing joyce hopper reunion everything it was just- difficult to digest- dk watdahell is henry up to now , this was like just a bruise to him and had me , lets see whats in the box , im damn sure the next battle will be like *mindboggling* in bolds

Lucas sobbing over Max, Dustin and Eddie saying goodbye, and El and Hopper reuniting all had me in tears. Easily the most emotionally invested in a show and it’s characters I’ve ever been and I want MORE

Eddie’s death we honestly deserved the others reaction to it not just Dustin cuz it felt to brushed off bcuz when it showed them back in real Hawkins they were all smiling and looked normal and I hope they give him a funeral and understand he was a hero like Hopper was in season 5

This episode brought me to tears so many times. These "kids" acted their asses off. Every scene with them was emotional. Lucas crying; "Erica, help me!" while cradling Max in his arms and crying, just broke my heart. Then there was Eddie's death scene...I'm really looking forward to next season. I'll miss Hawkins when the show is over.
Absolutely! It was heartbreaking watching Lucas in this whole sequence. The writing is so good, but the cast is just phenomenal. I had been waiting for Lucas to have a really good breakout moment, and this moment was so powerful.
Yesss! This episode brought me to tears, Lucas, Max, Eddie, and Dustin definitely nailed those scenes! I can't wait too see how season 5 will go and what will happen.

Eddie's death destroyed me. I would have loved to see more of his character. Excellent season, great soundtrack, and Metallica from the roof in the upside-down? Perfection!!!!

Everything about that scene was so on point! Loved how they used the track on a time where the plan really started to get going, yet so many things were happening at the same time. Deffo my favorite song + scene combo of this part

It made me sad when he and Dustin were having their moment but I had tears coming down my face when Dustin had to confront his uncle about it and how he started talking him up. Shit was sad

That one scene where Will showed his painting to Mike and confessed his true feelings to the boy and he referred HIMSELF as EL is so heartbreaking and felt like a ‘mistake’ is just heart shattering. Coming out in the 80's is so hard. Will kept all his feelings bottled up. Kudos to Jonathan for reassuring. 😭
Will destroyed my heart. 🥺 I just wanted to hug him and knowing how hard the 80s and 90s were for the LGBTQ+ community just makes it even sadder. Noah Schnapp is such a great actor and so under used in the recent seasons. I really hope he gets more screentime in the final season. Even his reunion with El made me cry.

Vecna actually alluded to his plan in the first episode. When Chrissy is buying drugs from Eddie she sees the clock in the tree. After the 4th toll four cracks appear and meet in the middle, then a bunch of spiders come out.

the last volume of this season had me SOBBING. when max said “i don’t want to die anymore, i don’t want to die yet i want to live,” i was a wreck. and when eddie was dying and said “i didn’t run away this time did i?” such an amazing season though

Random thought. When Henry/Vecna/One found the shadow monster, he immediately took control. Is it possible the shadow monster is neither good or bad? Could Eleven show the shadow monster a different way of existence, that is peaceful?

If you’re talking about the flayer being a force of neither good or evil, it would make sense for the entirety of the upside down to be a sort of “blank slate” aswell.. that’s a great catch Chris!
Great thought. I know El’s fight in the mind space isn’t the physical upside down, but before she subdues Henry, the tendrils that restrained her pull back. Might foreshadow her ability to control the mind flayer as well. The upside down is not an inherently evil place. It’s became the way it has because of Henry’s influence.
Dang thats a good theory. What if El has to takeover vecna place in order to ensure upside down to reverse what he did. Then El has to remain there. I'm curious what papa meant when he told El he wanted to show her the truth before he jab her in the neck with drugs

I’ve got a bad feeling that in season 5 things will go very bad. This season they almost all died. Vecna not dying and still being alive in the end being pissed at all of them…I have a feeling he’ll come back striking even harder. I wouldn’t be surprised if he kills a good majority of them, but El manages to kill him before everyone she loves gets killed

Earthquake concept literally saved everyone from being questioned by the police and other authorities about how eddie died or what happened to max...saved them all..in a way...loved eddie's character
Agree, but I'm a little bummed that Eddie died with no one knowing that he wasn't a murderer. I was hoping he'd get his vindication, even if it was after his death.

@@CinceTheDay 22 "confirmed" dead. Hundreds in hospitals, and "many" more missing. The "missing" are presumed dead, but they can't just add them to the death toll. Even Eddie and Jason aren't included in the "22". You saw the shit ton of "missing" posters at the disaster relief center right? Those people are likely all dead.
The acting performances from KIDS makes this series. All the heart felt scenes before each character goes into battle is superb. The scene of Lucas holding max was so powerful. This season is 10/10. Best show on Netflix
I completely agree, but they're not kids anymore. They're all accomplished actors and actresses in both film and stage. They are still immensely talented, of course, but they're not kids.

The show needed a Steve comforting Dustin moment after Eddie's death. Dustin breaking to Steve and then having the strength to speak to Mr Munson would have been amazing. Although I'd probably have cried for a week. Maybe it's being saved for a flash back in season 5.

It was really sad to see Eddie go..Joseph did an outstanding performance and portrayed this character so well it felt like Eddie had always been a part of this group, amazing chemistry.
Sadie/Max already showed her acting qualities through this season but Caleb/Lucas emotional breakdown touched my heart. Pure and raw emotions. Even though his bickering moments with Erica he felt so lost, seemed like not only Max needed help but he needed his sister more than ever, was hearbreaking 😭
My favourite season so far and can’t wait for S5. The only complaint was the camera pan during military/shooting scenes. Same as shooting scene at Byers home in Lenora. Felt too modern to be 80ies, but that’s personal preference I guess.
At this point I have no clue what could be in store for us in S5 but it’ll be just as good or even better 👌🏻
For a show with sci-fi and monsters and 'heart', government and military scenes are a bit of a killjoy to the plot. I guess that's why they tried to shoot it in a different way, the Californian crew was considered to be the most boring group in the Volume 1 so them trying a different panning in their scenes is might be because to try something different.

What I did like alot, if they actually were inspired by 80ies martial arts movies, is slow motion and zooming into 011 when she is casting especially also her yelling. It reminds me alot of Jean - Claude van Damme movies from the 80ies like Bloodsport etc.
It makes sense tho he’s a new character, they kept all the og people so next season all them can fight, hopper IS BACK

I dont know anything abt the guy who played Eddie, first time seeing him, but ya he is a future Robert Downey Jr, thats if he lives a normal life and not turn into another Ezra Miller type monster.
They not only gave the upside-down a villainious face, but they also gave him personal ties to the main characters.
What did the Russians have to do with it then? Why have bothered us all with that part ?

Me too! Something is kind of creepy and off about her. And Max stealing her office keys seemed too easy, almost like the counselor wanted her to. Something about that necklace as well is just off.
@@riggs20 maybe she is flayed? She just acts...weird... and being flayed would make sense with max taking the keys so easily, because she would inform vecna about it.
The season finale was fantastic! The way they incorporate music is unmatched. The stakes keep getting higher as the characters are getting older makes the show super engaging. Would love for season 5 to be weekly release format!
I thought it was cool how Dustin told Eddie’s uncle how Eddie passed away by using the Earthquake instead of the bats.
Highly doubt he would’ve believed it either way but yes very nice sentiment for him to remember Eddie by. Makes sense in hindsight.

He didn’t say it was the earthquake. He just said he was with him when the earthquake happened and then gave the uncle Eddie’s necklace as a sign to show that he died.
Meanwhile Steve, Nancy and Robin dont give a shit about Eddie's death. They could've atleast gave us a scene where Hellfire club mourning his loss or something. RIP Eddie.

Loved Season 4. Loved how all the characters work together as teams in separate locations to support El and defeat evil. My greatest disappointment in the show right now is that they don't give Will enough to do. He's capable of so much more than just a minor supporting character - after surviving the Upside Down and having a psychic connection to the Mind Flayer. And he deserves a new haircut and some cooler clothes - hasn't he suffered enough, Duffer Brothers?!? But yeah, of course I'm very relieved that Steve and Max aren't dead.

I think he’ll have a bigger part in series 5. He could be Vecnas ace card. I feel like Will shows a lot of subtle resentment towards El and may have promised to help Vecna in her demise so that Vecna can trap Will and his friends in 1982 in the upside down version of Hawkins where they can play D&D forever! It’s a reach I know! Haha but he does say at two different points that he wishes they could do exactly that- stay playing D&D forever! Be careful what you wish for
they're still ramping up to that. the duffers said this season is like the empire strikes back and next season is the return of the jedi. this whole series started with the stories of will and eleven and how they intersect with the upside down, will is going to be crucial to resolving all this in the final season, especially now that he's back in hawkins and can feel that connection with vecna again. since they're still following the thread of "love overpowers darkness" i think will is going to have to come to terms with his feelings in order to truly sever the connection with vecna and defeat him. maybe getting to know robin will help him feel like less of a mistake.

This finale really had an Empire Strikes Back vibe, especially with ending where the villains win and the heroes are at their weakest spot.
Luke undergoing training with Yoda similar to the whole Project Nina thing (even the scene where Eleven lifts that chamber totally parallels Luke trying to lift the X-wing).
Luke leaving the training to face Vader despite Yoda warning that he's not ready yet, just like how Eleven ran off to face Vecna despite Brenner claiming that she's not ready yet, only for Luke/Eleven to face defeat under Vader/Vecna.
It ends with Han Solo being captured by the Empire and frozen in Carbonite, kinda like how ST ends with Max in a coma.
Even their story structures are kinda similar, with the heroes being separated for the majority of the story (Luke/Eleven undergoing training while Han & Leia/the Hawkins gang are fighting the Empire/Vecna)

I agree with you but I feel like they were too hesitant to really make the heroes lose this season. They should’ve had a season 1 main character die to really add weight to the end of this season and make season 5 have higher stakes. Eddie’s death was sad but extremely obvious because they only ever kill off new characters. If Max truly had died it would’ve been a bit better but she came back. They need to stop doing that because now deaths have no meaning. I felt sad about Max’s death but she comes back like how Eleven came back and how Hopper came back. The ending could’ve been way better but it’s still a good season.
@@McLovin-zf7wq personally i wouldnt really say deaths have no meaning, since max had been dead for like, less than a minute when el revived her, and shes still in a coma for who knows how long
its not like el could go up to eddies body and bring him back, for example, because hes been dead for too long (and the problem of blood loss is still there)
so el's ability to revive people is hardly consistent, and i think it is completely possible that other characters will die in s5 and be unable to be revived

Max is in a coma but not dead. Vecna/001 technically “killed” hear, but eleven somehow saves her. Eleven then goes into Max’s mind but can’t find her. Remember in the massacre scene 001 told eleven that thei as in the kids are not dead but still in his head. Papa also mentions how he consumes the people he kills. My theory is that Max is in his head and since her body is still intact she can be saved but the others cant.

They shouldn't have killed Eddie man, every single time they kill a character that's newly introduced. Eddie could've been one of the best characters in my opinion and what's the point in continuously faking out the deaths of our main characters?
The main characters have a huge fanbase. The show might lose a big chunk of viewers if they kill off one of them. But they could've atleast gave Eddie a more heroic death. Not just getting bitten by bats.

i have never seen dustin so distraught…i’ve never seen him so sad, he’s always so witty and adventurous, very humorous so it really broke my heart to see him cry and i’m very sad about eddie…i loved him so much and how brave he was. his own town hated him but he really was a hero. and my heart was racing over lucas and max…not a lot of people talk about their relationship but i love them together, you can tell lucas really loves her and he never gave up on her. even though many feelings are unspoken, they way the look at each other tells the truth. this season will have you crying, laughing, upset, feeling anxious..but it’s so beautiful yet eerie. i cried and cried over the scene where lucas was getting severely beat up like nooo please stop i can’t watch anymore.🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

Can Vecna be labelled as one of the best villains already? Everything around him from prosthetics, to CGI, to cinematography, to action and even the crawling roots are so perfect. Beside that Sadie Sink performance was top notch. She was the Star performer of this entire season. The last episode gave me everything what I wanted.

Hes pretty much the bland old "wants to destory the world because society and is evil for no reason" villain but yea he looked, sounded and behaved terrifyingly.

There are also the T-1000, T-800, Davy Jones, Barbossa, The Thing, Predator, Xenomorphs, Thanos, Megatron, Joker, Two-Face, Lex Luthor, Red Hood, Dr Doom, Darkseid, Loki, Mephisto, Darth Maul, Count Dooku, Magneto, Hannibal Lector, Palpatine, Soundwave, Starscream, Galactus, Green Goblin, etc. I mean, there's some tough competition there.

To be honest, I kinda knew that Eddie was gonna die. I thought I was going to be upset, but it just made me happy seeing him fulfil himself and seeing him finally running towards the fight instead of running. Favourite season so far.

There are so many things I like about this season finale.
First, how badass Hopper is with that sword is a fitting tribute to a D&D battle; he did what Nancy should have done with Vecna by going for the Demogorgon’s head.
That practical helicopter explosion by Eleven was pure cinematic.
Almost everyone had a superb emotional breaking scene. The top one for me goes to Dustin and the second goes to Lucas. The third is Will revealing his true feelings, and then Mike finally tells Eleven that he loves her.
The death of Eddie is bittersweet. He died unsung, but it was his year to graduate, and he did it in style. He ran into the face of danger.
I did not want Max to die because I felt it would defeat her storyline in episode 4, where she overcame her trauma but seeing how she is willing to sacrifice herself for her friends had indeed shown how strong she has become. There are different ways to die, weak and depressing, or for love and friendship. As of now, she is holding onto a thread of lifeline. I believe she will make a full recovery by the season five finale and have the ultimate triumphant arc of overcoming adversity.
Finally, how good the writings are, especially on character buildings. Every character introduced did something memorable and impactful. From the leading core group to the secondaries and side characters, no one sits idling, except for Mr. Wheeler cracking jokes and clueless to what is happening, lol.

I’m glad Max survived. I know some people wanted her to die to amp up the stakes going into the final season but after everything Max went through. Fighting her demons and realizing her life was worth living killing her off tragically would’ve defeated the purpose of her whole arc. That being said they way she way brought back by El could’ve been handled better as it did it feel cheap

Once max died the gate opened and EVERYTHING should have come through but it didn't because el revived max which put s stop to the gate fully opening.
My only issue with vol 2 was that I expected more deaths and for the characters to come together sooner, not just at the very end.. Other than that the season as a whole was great. Looking forward to the 5th and final season.
Agreed, it's kinda weird how Steve, Nancy and Robin didn't contribute ONE bit at the end, other than them all throwing molotov cocktails and Nancy shooting Vecna """dead""". As soon as i saw all of them getting strangled, i already knew that their fate was safe... a bit of a let down. Eddies' fate was made quite clear with Dustin shouting his name. I was really sad to see max "die" but also proud that they made such a choice, but when i saw that she was technically "alive" it kinda rubbed me the wrong way.

Lucas's actor delivered so good but legit 5 minutes later she's in a coma. Wouldve been more powerful of a scene if she really did die. This show is great but these characters have MEGA plot armor.....hopefully that isn't the case in season 5 because there needs to be deaths that just hit us in the stomach HARD

Honestly this is the best season (in my opinion) so far! I really loved the horror aspects of the show especially the writing of Paul Dichter in episode 4 “Dear Billy”. I’m really interested to see if miss Kelly actually has something to do with Vecna with her necklace being a clock key and all of the victims going to see her about their struggles. I also really hope they bring back Max because her character arc has been growing so much since her introduction in season 2. All of the cinematography in this season was done so well and the 270 million dollar budget was clearly put to good use.

That finale was EPIC. Emotional, cinematic and gripping. Overall, I REALLY enjoyed this season. I think it's the strongest season since season 2.
they left us with many cliffhanger some of them are
1) Hawkins fate
2) Max's fate
3) Jonathan-Nancy love still under a little conflict cause of Steve
4) Will's heartbroken for Mike and still unknown his fate in next season
5) Eddie died as a hero but he's still a villain to Hawkins people
6) No main characters died but there's high possibility of some of them gonna die in season 5
7) Upside down now become a larger threat not only for Hawkins also for the whole world and humanity
8) Vecna will return as the form of big Mindflayer and its gonna be a very tough challenge for El and the others
yes and the fact Will can feel Vecna now scares me.
I also think and hope Vickie gets more screentime in S5

This season left me flabbergasted...Four tops scenes:
#1: Lucas dealing with Max's death
#2: Will trying to disguise his love for Mike while explaining how El feels about him while Jonathan looks in the rear view teary eyed
3#: Jonathan telling Will he'll love him no matter what and he can talk to him about anything (come out)
4#: Dustin telling Eddie's uncle that Eddie died a hero
I typically laugh at these kind of shows since way back when the Friday the 13th, Freddy Kruger and Sleep Away Camp flicks were trendy; I have never been brought to tears by any TV show, let alone a horror type TV show. I'm impressed. These young actors and actresses have a whole lot of Legendary in their future for us to witness and enjoy.

She could have some special power to see what Vecna is doing or planning now. In other mythology they talk about chaos needing a sacrifice or payment; I feel like if she’s lost her sight she may have gained some ability. That would be a really cool flex. And if he is destroyed who knows maybe her sight could return.

there is only one more season left and they said that will be the big finale to the whole series. this season was so damn epic, everyone in it was just on fire and i loved it. if my mom was still alive, she would have loved it, too. overall final judgement score is a 10/10.

Above everything i love about Stranger Things, the theme of friendship touches me the most. Having friends that will literally sacrifice their lives for you without thinking twice about it. Everytime they made a decision putting someone else first and their own safety and well being last I tear up. Above all else these kids love each other to pieces.

I think Vecna will possess (if that’s the right word) Max’s body because it feels like it’s implied that Max’s consciousness is gone (Eleven not being able to feel/locate her in the “mind” realm).
I feel like this would be better than having Max come back next season all good and recovered, because that would make El’s power waaaaaaay too OP like she just brought someone back from the dead without any repercussions.

This season was perfect. I never bored. 4 hours of stranger things was perfect. I was on the edge of my seat, tears in my eyes, cheering along. Music was perfect. Slaps all over any disney plus show released. Duffer brothers and cast should take a bow.

This season was amazing!! I can’t believe we got essentially 2 movies for part 2 of this season. Everyone did an amazing job, and although some of the characters annoy me at times, I love them all!! I was really sad to see Eddie die; I fell in love with his character. And the fact that he was shredding Master of Puppets on the guitar was awesome. Especially since in real life, that album had just come out and I can totally see that album would have immediately been his favorite!!!I wanted Will to admit to his brother that he was gay, but I have to admit it was beautiful the way Jonathan told him he will always love him no matter what. Now we have to sit and wait…hopefully while the kids are still, well…young adults. Love your videos!!!!

This finale was not what I expected, I knew this was not the last season but I didn't know the stakes were getting higher in this season and in the end they made them even higher, some may call this a middle of the road to a finale, but it is THE BEGINNING OF THE END and this finale serves as that, I thought this finale was amazing and actually subverted my expectations and thoughts on how the show would play out

Amazing season, and series. I love how well they brought us to Eddie in such a short period of time, making his death much more meaningful. He is easily one of my favorites now. I have a feeling they might make Max either some form of a savior of the group, having survived with Eleven's help, or an extension of Vecna. I don't think they set that up for nothing

I think Steve, Nancy and Robin in the upside down was a homage to the Frog Brothers and Sam from The Lost Boys. Hopper’s sword scene reminded me of Conan (even the sword looked like Conan’s). Lucas vs Jason was a homage to Apollo Creed beating the crap out of Ivan Drago from Rocky IV (I wish…).
Volume 2 was really long and I still felt it rushed…

I'm so glad the other chatectors got more screen time this season. Lucas, Max, and the duo of Steve and Robin are the charectors I like to see more of. Especially Lucas, he did so well this season. That scene with Lucas and Max before she goes to Billie's grave and up in the attic were acted so well by the both of them. I hope they both survive. Lucas is one of my favorite charectors, I hope they write him well in Season 5.

Now that the real world are upside down are "assimilated" people who are prone to vecna's curse which are the peeps from Hawkins can now be under his control. So it literally might be like a zombie thing on s5.
He did that in season 3 with the Mind Flayer.

If only Netflix showed this much love and care for their other shows and especially the bad movies. More quality, less quantity. I would continue the volume releases since everyone was talking about the first half for a whole month. Now we will continue talking about this show, the characters we lost, and making theories on how the show will logically end.

When vecna is about to kill max he tells her to stay very still and that it will be over soon or something along the lines of that and I’m 95% sure that’s what billy used to say when he bought his victims to flesh version of the mind flayer in season 3 just goes to show that vecna isn’t the mind flayers general he’s it’s commander and that billy, will, everyone has always been under his control
Also I think the reason why the upside down wasn’t like Hawkins when vecna went through the gate is cause the upside down (assuming it was created as it’s own sort of universe but just a corrupted mirror of ours) was always like that but when eleven opened the gate in season 1 that might have copied our world into upside down or maybe vecna somehow did that might be just Hawkins that got copied as I don’t think we’ve seen anywhere else with gates that fully opened like the one in Russia closed. Regardless something like this would link with that random scene in vol 1 where Nancy sees that upside down Hawkins is stuck in 1983

I think that's the true upside down; you could see two landscapes facing each other. I think the upside down we know was like our world, but corrupted by the purgatory realm.

Yeah sadly vecna is in control of everything makes sense seeing as he is the originator of the powers that all the other numbers share but I must say I wanted the mind flayer to be the big final villain so to find out that vecna is the one that shaped him into the spider form we see was disappointing but atleast he didn't create the upside down and the monster have always been there he just controls then still pretty lame though.
Ok not have I not stopped crying about Eddie yet.. I’m also really annoyed how they basically aren’t saying anything about Eddie after he died.. like wtf?! Suddenly it’s “two days later” and no one is talking about Eddie. They left him to rot in the upside down or something?? No one is mourning.. you only see Dustin going up to Eddie’s uncle.. and that’s it.. I don’t understand this bugs me really!!

So when Eleven looks into Max’s mind she can’t find her. Which makes me think that maybe Max’s body is alive but her mind and consciousness is still stuck in Vecna’s mind or maybe stuck in like a limbo state or in The Upside-Down somehow.

Season 5 feels like it will be a hell on earth type scenario a la Justice League Dark Apokolips War, especially with the 2 year time jump in the show. Kudos to Lucas/Caleb and Max/Sadie, great emotional acting in ‘that’ scene

I finished the season a few days ago and still can't stop thinking about how amazing it is. The best piece of television I've seen in ages, so excited for S5
I love Max don't get me wrong but I think it would have been so much more impactful if she actually did die. The entire group would have felt an extreme loss and give them even more of a reason to fight. Idk just the way the duffer bros were getting everyone hype about some of the cast dieing but of course it was just a side character ( I love Eddie but ya know) I think they should have killed someone from the main group. Also I was hoping they would tease just a little bit of why Vecna chose Will in season 1 hopefully next season they will explain this more.

I think Max is still alive to keep Hawkins from dying. Because if she dies, Hawkins will fall and the upside-down can take it over. But since Vecna's final gate (which was Max) died for only 1 minute, Hawkins couldn't completely be taken over. So as Max is slowly dying in the hospital, the upside-down is slowly bleeding into Hawkins. This gives El and the gang more time to stop Vecna. That's just my theory, but I'm so excited to see how it plays out.

I agree SO MUCH. These characters have so much plot armor it isn't even funny. Max dying would've been so much more sad if she really did die. But it seems that writers are afraid to kill off main characters since they are so loved and they think viewers would stop watching if a main character died. They need to just take the risk because when I saw Max in that hospital bed it touched me the wrong way as if they forced her into that story. Like how did El even know she had powers to revive someone? It just doesn't make sense and isn't the best writing. Sorry for rambling btw

If you didn’t cry when Dustin gives Eddie’s pick-necklace to his uncle, you have no soul. Also…Eddie was the best new character we’ve ever had. I knew he was gonna get the “Billy-Bob treatment” cuz that’s what happens to new characters every season in this show.
And his Metallica scene, was nothing short of EPIC, especially because he was actually playing the song himself on screen. I wish we could have kept him for one more season. But I’m glad we had him at all.

I like how everyone insinuated Will was jealous over losing someone he saw as a lover but actually it was losing someone he saw as a brother. That scene hinted at him missing a brother in his life when him and Jonathon talk. That’s what art is all about. Interpretation.
Hm I read those scenes completely different. The stuff Will was saying about Mike and Eleven was actually about how Will felt about Mike but he inserted Eleven into the conversation because he knows Mike doesn't feel like that towards him. Also Jonathan was basically begging Will to come out to him but Will still wasn't ready.
@@brandonreed09 I agree the way the camera always shot to Mike and Eleven like looking at them through Wills eyes shows he definitely has feelings for Mike but he can't tell him how he's feels because he knows Mike doesn't feel the same way about him like that. I do feel that Mike could have asked Will if he was ok when he was crying in the van the Mike in S1 and s2 would have asked!
@Amber’s ALERTTS He said Vecna wasn't dead and we saw that Vecna had disappeared from where his body landed. It's pretty obvious that Vecna is still alive.
