Whenever I tell people that I listen to dubstep people are always, "I thought that was just a trend" or "It's so old" but they never give it a chance. I've always seen this kind of music as energy, never what you could expect
To think we have the same energy but we have different types of dubstep. my dubstep is golden era dubstep like kode 9, hatcha and many more I'm not into the update dubstep has gone to robotic for me 😂

Yeah people will scoff at you, look at you weird, and some even mock it. My thing is, it is sound (-waves, which is just energy, as you said). Sound is beautiful, and I like hearing complex interesting sounds orchestrated in a way to be even more interesting and complex. To not like electronic music in general is mind boggling to me because it is equal in my mind to not liking color, or light, or smells, etc. Sound is a part of living (ofc for those fortunate enough, some people are deaf), of this existence, and it has so much diversity that you can never get bored of it. It gives life both beauty and meaning, for me at least. I live for sound. It is one of the few things that has kept me from legitimately "unaliving", which there isn't many other things that have stopped me from doing that, so sound is incredibly important to me. The only other thing topping it is other life like family, and nature/animals. I don't get why people limit themselves to one genre, though, or just a few. It is all sound in the end, so enjoy it. Be open-minded and experiment with it. Don't become complacent with the same 20 sounds over and over you're losing out on so much. I guess it is like that cave scenario, where the people who have never left the cave before don't want to leave because they don't understand that they're missing out on a whole new world just outside the cave. They're complacent with where they are, but the downside is they leave little to no room to learn, grow, or experience new things.
