      Kind of depends what prison he is put in. Some prisons have sections just for those who sexually assault a child. Some have gang drop outs and those are the ones that tend to give a little justice to the victim. Some prisons don't have those sections.

    Shame on those parents that let their CHILDREN write support letters for a pedophile.
    Shame on the schools allowing him to still teach CHILDREN after 2016 & 2021 Abuses.
    So if he was doing this abuse in school, what else was has he done in public?
    ...I didn't hear that he has been placed on the SO Register...why not?

    • @MidgetPunter
      @MidgetPunter 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      In 2016 and 2021 was he found guilty of those abuse charges? If he wasn't and let's say the cases were dismissed then the school wouldn't of had a legal reason to remove him from his teaching position. As much as I feel a pedo should become one with a woodchipper I do believe no one should be punished for an allegation if the charges got dropped. If people can be fired for an allegation that the charges were dropped would be a slippery slope for anyone. Even those who are the scum of the earth. Too many vindictive people. Look at what happened to MLB pitcher Trevor Bauer. He lost his massive contract and was released by the dodgers due to an allegation and he hasn't been in the MLB since and no Team is willing to pick him up due to the false allegations the woman made. Luckily for Trevor once he was vindicated the Dodgers had to finish paying out his contract as if he was still on the team! He still will likely lose out on 8 or 9 figures worth of money over the length of his MLB career had a woman not claimed she was rated simply with the hopes he would just pay her to go away. Even after they know she lied she likely won't get any prison time for ruining someone's career.

The bar on finding someone guilty of such horrendous charges is very high, as it should be. It may be a cliche, but I really would rather see 100 guilty people go free vs one innocent person lose their freedom for years.
      I believe that the prosecutors shouldn’t bring a case against someone without the evidence they believe will convict that person, otherwise the chance is gone forever or until the statute of limitations runs out.

      Absolutely agree! I hope, best case scenario, this judge is fed up and would/will do the same with female perpetrators. Otherwise it’s not equal. Which we know it’s not. It’s taken forever to even use the correct verbiage referring to women in positions of trust like a woman teacher who violates the trust of the public, her students and parents by crossing the lines and in what seems like rising numbers, assaults children. We still treat it like the boy must have participated and enjoyed it. Despite being a minor-means consent isn’t possible. It’s infuriating.

      It's because the man enters the female versus the female being entered by the man...which is why men get harsher sentences for the exact same crime that a female would get. It's a shame and total BS. Anyone regardless of their gender should get the same sentence. The punishment should reflect the crime that was committed. I can understand someone's past being something that a judge may look at but being male or female shouldn't matter for the consequences they are given.

      We've all seen the reactions. Woman with boy? Guys are joking, "Where was she when I was in school?" Man with girl? Most are appalled, but honestly, men tend to redefine "children", not by their actual age, but by their appearance.
      Not saying that it makes sense, only that humans are a capricious species.

    • @elietahari7290
      @elietahari7290 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      You really need to actually learn how to read case law or at the very least learn how to read. In a lot of cases with male perpetrators there are aggravated circumstances ie the physical harm they do to the children they abused. Charges with aggravated conditions are almost always going to carry harsher sentences. Its the difference between robbery and aggravated robbery where the victim was also assaulted. One is going to have a heavier punishment than the other in most cases depending o the state and the laws that govern it. Whether its right or wrong is irrelevant. Keep your hands and all your other parts off of kids and you dont have to worry about comparing apples to oranges about the fairness of your sentence.

    When I was 16 I knew the difference between appropriate behavior and inappropriate behavior. In 8th grade I got my teacher fired because he was a creep. What I don’t get is WHY the student at 16 years old GOT HER TEACHERS NUMBER in the first place. Why the hell was she texting him ?!?! From the affidavit, there was around 1,700 texts between the two. WTF. What did the student THINK was going to happen?!?!?! I’m sorry. At 16, I was super self aware and not easily influenced. So after they had been texting and the teacher was being sexually explicit to her over text, the student STILL went to a lesson ALONE WITH HIM?!?! That’s when the touching and kissing happened. I mean, I understand the process of grooming, but hell, teenage girls really need to find themselves. As a teacher myself I teach a a self autonomy/self efficacy class, and it’s about reading between the lines of manipulation. Parents also need to have apps to track their kids messages, it amazes me how often this happens.

      I agree, but we are different and everyone doesn't process the same. Teachers usually know this and incorporate it in their instructional style. If everyone did it like you, we wouldn't have this issue. The predators know who the weak, vulnerable and fearful students are, so they continue to destroy lives😞!

      @@cecischaeffer2669 I was a high school student at one point. And was aware of the creepy teachers. Honestly I blame parents for not doing more. Parents don’t talk to their kids, parents
      don’t know how to parent, or how create boundaries and follow through with consequences; this is my generation that’s failing. Maybe it’s because parents are barely getting by and working 5 jobs to really be aware of what their child is doing. It’s weird. And it’s a widespread systematic problem- kids aren’t getting their needs met and parent are to preoccupied. Especially nowadays with the rampant continuous issues regarding grooming and teachers abusing their position and role. Parents need to actually take the time to get to
      know their kid. Next month it will be the same thing- over and over again.

He did 3 1/2 years. The father of those 3 kids, his only children, committed suicide 2 years later becuz he could not bear living without them. The mother and her mother, the widow of the man killed, are now alone and having to pick up the pieces of their ruined lives. The public felt that he should have gotten 4 life sentences. I'm factoring in that the victim was 16. In the state of Minnesota, 16 is the legal age of consent. You're a year, maybe a few months from being able to go to prison for life at 16, it's not as young as we want to make it. We don't have a problem trying a16 year old as an adult.
