Absolutely cannot say enough about SLOWING DOWN. One of the biggest mistakes a new player makes (especially when playing against a seasoned player) is to try to play at their opponents pace. The worst thing about that is that for a seasoned player, 'fast pace' often equates to 'dialed in' and the match will be over before you know it. USE those 20 seconds, even if you don't need them. Let your opponent think you're mulling over your options. Get inside their head, plant that seed of doubt in their mind. :) disclaimer: I still consider myself one of those "new players". I've only been playing for a few months, and am learning lots every time I play. "SLOW DOWN" was one of the first bits of advice I received and it has proven invaluable!
There are tons of good options. We would recommend any set that uses 3/4” baltic birch as its material. Dirtybags makes some great boards. Expect to spend at least $250 or more for a good set.
These players throw Ultra bags, primarily the Viper, but honestly all Ultra bags are top of the line. If you are to start with any one Ultra bag get a set of Ultra Vipers in our opinion. That bag changed the world of competitive cornhole.
Not bad, I loved that it was quick, simple, and easy, because that’s what people want. Although, I would love to highlight the promotions and the whole “Cornhole vibe.” Well done. PLAY CORNHOLE W THE BOYS/GIRLS/FUCK WHATEVER GENDER INTEREST U PARTAKE IN, WHY NOT, it’s fun asf fr. If you haven’t tried it then do it if u have and don’t like it, okay.
A lot of people don't spin before each game and also forget that you can choose a side, not just go first. This is the real hack because you can put your opponent in a spot they don't like.
Spinning is often skipped. Especially in singles. I like to start EVERY game with a spin. It becomes part of my routine. So it isn't awkward when someone wants to spin or flip a coin. Cornhole is often about repetition and controlling nerves so taking a breath and starting the game with the spin every time creates a repetitiveness that can be maintained. You can also use the spin to throw your opponent off. Win and pick your side just to flip them from the side they have been throwing all day or the game they just finished. Spin and give up first bag just to throw your opponent off. It's gamesmanship. Games can be won on little differences so don't just skip the spin.
0:38 I didn't understand tip #3 at all. He didn't explain what spinning essentially had to do with anything. Like, how does spinning a bean bag get under your opponent's skin?
He means don’t let your opponent be free to do whatever they want. If you show up and they already have inside arm that probably means that’s where they are most comfortable. If you spin for sides and make them switch to outside for example it might get them out of rhythm.
The tips are- make easy points, find the best bag for you, get an easy win with a spin, take control of the tempo, practice against the best, got it? Good.
Love the advice!! "Get your hands on other people's bags..." 😂

All works, won my 1st tournament last week
NICE!
I tried it,it worked perfectly
I honestly keep forgetting when you win the spin you can choose which side you want rather than going first
Hah I never would have thought of these! Good advice.
Great vid fellas
Any recommendation on a good set to buy?

This doesn’t help
Well you do have to hit the board for this stuff to work.
The timeout hack is a good idea, not giving up any control is good, landing on the boards is good.
See nothing wrong with these tips
Yeah this only works for decent players unlike you
What kind of bags do you use? Could you please give me the top three options for bags. I want to purchase my first set

I don't understand the 'spin before every game' hack. I've watched a few times and don't see the 'hack' in this.

I like that! Gonna slow down the tempo next time someone gets hot and disrupt the rhythm.
Great tips! As a video nerd in addition to a new cornhole player, I gotta ask. What Camera, Wireless Mics, and tripod were used to make this?
This is a great question. We have been meaning to make a gear list and get up links in the description. I'll let you know when its ready.
The gear list is up in the description :)
great advice
Alright playing someone tonight, I’ll use your advice. Hopefully this time I will win

@@HazmatCat Thank you, well explained.
I asked a lady if I could feel her bags and she slapped me. I’m so confused.
“How to win at cornhole every time… you’re going to lose a lot”
So the tips are spin the bag to start, ice your opponent, touch their bags, aim, and play? Sounds like these guys are trying to keep their secrets.

@@CornholeNetwork lmao alright then
Keep

Stupid
this is what I try to do.. great little video!
I’m already a pro at corn hole😂
Hack #1: just get it on the board
Welp this video was not made for me
I get the feeling you slide a lot of bags off the back of the board.
Bold of you to assume I can even touch the board 😂😭
Hah! Then Hack 1 is a good start.@@AlyssaBotelho
I’m just trying to win my office tournament 😂
The number one thing you can do at that level is put 4 bags on the board every frame. Almost guaranteed to win.
tip 6: give opponent booze
I played my buddy tonight I won $50 off of him in 3 games 😂😂😂
Good stuff!
It's such a pet peeves of mine to see people abusing words such as "hack."
You're welcome.
