    Great video. Nice to rewatch. I do both, early release and arching high release. Keep it on a straight line!

    Thanks for the tips. I've been bowling seriously for 21 years and didn't realize my motion was extended more upward than needed causing a slight nose-down bag. Appreciate the help. Smooth sliding from here!

    My biggest problem is consistency. One day I can't be beat and the next I can't hit the board. Very frustrating. I know I just need to keep working.

    Man I've always struggled with this! After watching this, I do have a high follow through so maybe that's my problem. Thanks!

    Very good video! I've thrown a nose down bag since I started throwing and I believe this will help me. Thanks Mike!

    I could use help with flattening the bag. I tend to nose-down, but also it just has a kind of wobble in the air rather than being that nice disc-looking toss other people do. I'd be interested in tips to help with wobble.

    I tend to pull my throwing arm towards my body on the forward swing. Any tips on how to fix that? Love your videos. Showing throwing faults and the fixes for them.

    Arm swing any tips. Sometimes I feel my arm is too stiff and not relax. Throwing left and right or short from the board …

    Do you know of a fuller bag with fast side at 9 and slow at 4?

      Check out the Templar Cornhole X'D Out and the Rocket Bags Bring It. I have reviews up on both of those bags.

      If you can find someone who has some, check out BG Samurai or BG Sorcerer bags. Both are listed as 4/9 on the latest speed chart, and are mentioned around town in "fuller bag" conversations. Good luck!

    Is there any difference in bag flight or consistency based on whether you lean forward in your stance or standing tall? My PPR is creeping up slowly but just when I feel like I get something figured out I go right back to throwing bad bags again. I move into the high 7s low 8s and drop right back to the high 5s-mid 6s. Does my stance with feet or lean forward or standing tall effect my consistency?

    FINALLY! A simple explanation for my unexplainable "90-degree kick" to the right! No one's been able to explain it until now! Now I have something I can actually WORK on and fix this very frustrating (and embarrassing) phenomenon. THANK YOU!!!
    (thought: I should get a shirt made that just says "Keep your nose up!" lol)

    The mental game is my struggle. I can throw great one day, then throw not bad but not great the next time. Example…..a week ago I was 7.4 ppr at a switch, the week prior an 8.5. I want to stay in the 8’s or go up.

    Recently started experimenting with a butterfly grip. Immediately noticed my bags were flatter.

    Hey Mike, an issue i have time to time is when i throw a bag, looks flat through the air, but when it lands it cuts left (right hand butterfly thrower) Am i putting too much spin? Or over rotating my wrist? Any suggestions?

    • @MikesBags
      @MikesBags  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's tough to answer without seeing the throw. If the bag is slightly tilted with the right side down or slightly nose down, it will go to the left. It could be that the bag doesn't have enough spin. More spin will keep the bag moving straight. Less spin allows the material to grab the board and for a right handed thrower, that would move the bag to the left.

    • @yellow_id
      @yellow_id 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @MikesBags people tell me I have a lot of spin on my throw, so I thought that was an issue so I slowed it down a tad. While using butterfly, do you release palm up, or handshake?

      How is the bag landing on the board and have you ever recorded yourself releasing the bags

      @@travishuffman6488 it’s landing flat and I record myself a lot lol.trying to figure out why and I’m also trying to remember my old affective throwing style

    • @CoRnBaGZachWAT
      @CoRnBaGZachWAT 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sounds like you could possible by over compensating angles. Meaning n the outside your pulling more across and to the left and inside your just pushing it out because of the outside pull. Try mikes tape drill where he puts a small piece of tape where he wants the bag to land and focus on just hitting your landing point.

    • @ronstrothmann8868

      I drift to the right sometimes with inside arm throws. I noticed that I’m not keeping my shoulders square to the board like a T. I have to focus on mechanics while throwing to fix it. Outside arm feels natural to me square to the board.

    Obese people having to throw around their side bulge. What's the solution other than losing weight?

    • @MikesBags
      @MikesBags  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's a great question. I'm not sure of the answer. I'll have to do some research on that and see what I can come up with.
