What’s with all the flat bagging? I grab a corner and toss it spinning end over end and do pretty well. Course we’re drinking and having fun, not whatever these nerds are talking about.
You would get annihilated by these flat baggers. They average around 10 points per frame. You average about 4.
FYI just wanted to add that this a horrible angle of filming 😂, viewers would actually want to watch the whole throw, from the person to the hole etc. to see the form, the bag in the air. Things hasn’t change yet till today

Higher release without extra power will not allow the bag to travel further,more arc less power will be short

@@CornholeNetwork yeah I’ve played for hours today… is it worth it to learn the flat bag with spin ( on how long it takes to get it down ) ? I was throwing way more 4 baggers and way more consistent before I started learning the flat bag.. will it pay off in the long run?
@@iDrunkk yes, it gets worse before it gets better but the flat bag def pays off. There is a reason all top players throw a nice flat bag.

nobody films the arc of the bags. That would be useful to see how high the bag flights are for a push and an airmail.
It is not an easy thing to film which is why you don't see it, even in ACL coverage.

I absolutely love this idea of a venue for cornhole. Here in Kamloops BC Canada we don't have anything even close to this. I am the president of the Kamloops Cornhole Club and I am desperately searching for a hall, church or lounge to rent just so our club can play. I would love if Hole 9 Yards franchised and came to Canada so we all had somewhere to play.

Why does my bag always stop right at the hole. This happens all the time. I throw 6/9 speed mostly. Ty
Trajectory control. Just throw a little lower.
Throw a flat bag, not a front tilted bag.
I use to have this issue to before I learned about different board speeds. When this happens use a faster bag or use the fast side so you can throw the same shot, instead making adjustment to your mechanics. Hopefully this helps

I love that strategy. Offense wins games, defense wins championships
I know I cannot run bags in the hole for no more than a few rounds. So I do play a lot of defense, especially against players that I know have nothing but a slide shot to the hole. Block their lane and they are done. There are a few that I can do this on and it gets them really upset. Which then breaks their focus. I have played some good advanced players that have roll shots and won against them. Biggest thing with roll players is not blocking the hole too high up on the board. The shorted the distance, the easier it is for them to roll. A bag and 1/2 lower and they have less chance of hitting the roll. Finding that sweet spot to block makes a big difference. Those KS Wolverines allow you to block and then flip to the fast side you can push. They are sweet.

Cornhole is shrinking?? You need to get out more to your local San Diego events! We've had 39 events and 208 unique players who have gotten 5th or better in an event. And, it's only January 23rd and this is just San Diego County. I definitely don't consider that "shrinking" but the exact opposite.
Companies are folding. Viewership is way down. The sport is definitely contracting. But good to hear local events are doing well.
