These are gorgeous decks. Even more beautiful than Arbor and more sustainably manufactured. Definitely need to put clear grip tape to show that beautiful craftsmanship. I’d love to own one.

Tip from a boat maker, sprinkle sand over the wet finish coat, let dry, blow off excess sand for a finish that is mon-slip, yet can see the wood grain beneath the finish coat.

Great work! I'm a wood shop teacher, and I make skateboard with my students out of 1/8" birch plywood. Our biggest challenge is having them set properly in the mould. I've never seen or heard of that vacuum-bag method thing. I'd love to know where you got that!
Wow - looks like one of the ones I used ages ago. Actually still have it and will give it to my son or daughter if either is ever going to get into skateboarding. I used some clear grip tape on some of the boards, that stuff works great and skaters like it because it can be changed out for new when it wears out

Instead of that glue you should use epoxi resin the same for the finish, instead of marine varnish you should use poliuretane varnish or expoxy resin

Beautiful work! Any idea what kind of wood the pallet was made of? I think skateboards were traditionally maple. Not sure why.
