Hey Professor! I’m so pumped I found your youtube channel it has been a god send vs the other content out there ❤ Quick question. I own a clothing/footwear store and have multiple brands. I have moved to broad targeting and have one ad set running for New Balance skateboarding shoes that has been very successful. I want to start pushing ASICS running footwear without cannibalizing my current New Balance Numeric ad set so I keep appealing to that New Balance customer. If I want to build my ASICS business would you recommend starting a separate campaign since they are different products?
Great video! As a new business, how would you recommend running your first ads if you aren't testing those two things you mentioned, we have UGC content, we have great quality photos and we also have infographic style pics that we can use for ads. Should we do a different ad set for each and use the 3:2:2 method still?
Hey, 1. do you upload both 1x1 and 9x16 versions in your DCOs? or you have separate AdGroups for 1x1 and 9x16? 2. In case you upload into one AdSet, do you upload 3 creatives in one DCO per format? ( i mean 3 1x1 and 3 9x16)
Question - you say a big mistake is not appealing to the right audience but then you say not to define the audience (custom, lookalike, interest). So...? Is the 2024 reference of "audience" purely about the ad creative/ad design and who it is meant for and isn't at all about building an audience via targeting?
Charley! Love the vids man quick question. If you're way below your target cpa would you ever recommend scaling harder than 5% 2-3 times per week or should you always stick to smaller increments?
hello @Professor Charley T i have launch and find somme winning ads with DCT and put in main adset but some first i get 4.8 ROAS and second day 3.8 and third day 2.5 what can you in that situation
Thanks for another great video Charley! I have a question with some background for you- I am a lead generator, specifically for pay per call. The goal of my campaigns is to generate a qualified inbound call. The problem is call centers are only open from 9am - 6pm, for example, so i have to pause the ads every evening and unpause every morning. I do this at the ad set level, and it seems to throw a wrench in the algorithm optimizing and doing its thing. I run DCTs out of a single CBO campaign. I'm curious what you would do in my situation? I know lifetime budgets exist, but constantly restarting campaigns doesnt seem optimal. Only thing I can think of is letting the campaigns run 24/7, collecting leads outside of call center hours and try to follow up via SMS + email the next morning to get the inbound call and recoup ad spend. Again, curious if you have any thoughts. Thank you for your time!
You can create a custom rule for your campaign, every night at ~6pm turn ad spend down to a couple dollars, then every morning at 9am ramp back up. This way you wouldn’t have to manually do it which is wasting your time and hurting your campaign. You can set this rule for Mon-Fri if y’all aren’t open on the weekends
@@AGCYPrivy I'm already using rules to pause/unpause, so at least I'm not doing it manually. But, decreasing my budget and increasing it daily seems like it would do even more harm? I'd be resetting the learning constantly
Pause and Unpause does way more harm to the algo than just flighting your budgets in my experience. You’d be resetting your learnings everyday rather than just keeping the lights on at a low spend. That’s what testing is for though, try flighting budgets nightly for a week and see how it performs for you! Worth a shot
i don’t focus on it but that also because i’m not good enough to make a determination and i’m working at the data level some creative folks swear by it but it’s an allocation of resource issue and for me, it just doesn’t move the needle
Hey Charlie , i would to test the dct 3-2-2 a different way i wont to test just the creative with out headline or primary text whats the amount of creative you think is to much?
Hey! Been loving some of your content, but just stumbled across it today, I sell higher ticket items ($500-2000) what would you say should be my approach for conversion goals? Add to cart? Purchase? Checkout? Etc
Hi Professor... great content as always!!! i'm following your guidance and it's working. i have a question about dynamic creatives though. Do you feel that it works on low budgets too? i have a budget of £80 per day and the one campaign brings in leads at about £30 each with 3-2-2 and no dynamic creative. With dynamic creative the lead cost goes up to £90... i'd go out of business if that carried on. Do you have any thoughts?
Hey Charley, been following your channel recently and love the helpful 3:2:2 tips! However, would this method work for a monthly sweepstakes where we'd give something away for a month and run those specific ads, then turn them off once the giveaway ends when the winner is announced? Or does this method only work for super long term? Would love to know your input on this situation.
I appreciate it! So would the lottery method in theory work since it's in just a short amount of time, or would you personally do another campaign that's both?@@CTtheDisrupter

Absolutely

Question on the dynamic creative front. Do you mean dynamic creative set at the adgroup level?
This video is really good

We covered this in depth during todays live

What is your recommended maximum number of ad sets for a campaign?
3-4 max
How to test multe/different products? Should I test in the same CBO or different? Can I test other products in the same time with the main?
different offers, different campaigns
but why test offers with ads?
@@CTtheDisrupter thanks. I m dropshipping... still not found a good product to get profitable
can i test 2 different products in the same facebook campaign?@@CTtheDisrupter

no… why ruin a good thing
you can easily double every month
do you want a week of great results… or months that are far better

I have the same question!
ROAS doesn’t matter
focus on BLENDED CPA
is it possible that 3:2:2 method doesn't work for any specific ad account, and instead the ABO and CBO campaigns are working well?
nope

do it

Can you make a video for SaaS? I heard one of your success story are a SaaS biz, would love to learn from that.
hello proffessor,in dct, what we test, number 1 three different videos of same topic not same video, and 2nd is same video with three different hooks
Shouldn´t we stay in one campaign only, to keep learning tight in a package?
i’d try to
@@CTtheDisrupter waiting for a actual working feature to minimize audience overlap/cannibalizing the own ads. Or is there any rule possible for that?
