That oil might also refer to present day ointment , I mean in other words help them physically to recover with whatever we can. And ultimately it is God's will whether to heal him/her or let it like that for glory of God. Thank you for this video. Years ago, I had a dream in my room there was a nice scent that I can't explain & someone told me it's an oil. When I woke up the sent was gone. As I read the Bible, I've learned that oil was used for annointing & healing. Jesus is changing me from glory to glory.
this happened to me as well and in was in my room and I could smell and aroma so beautiful and when I opened my eyes after praying and kept looking around to see where it came from and after a few seconds it disappeared. the aroma scent was so indescribable, then I got the verse where is speaks about the aroma of the Christ in 2 Corinthians :)

I’m a new born Christian and sometimes I remember when I was a child and I asked for help or something, I was told by others would that God was very busy and you just have to wait. I’m about to be 60 and sometimes I have the same thoughts. Right now I have a nasty job and I pray to God that he removes this cup from me, but not by my will, but by his will be done. if I have to stay in it for a little while longer because he’s got something else better prepared for me so it I shall wait for his will

Thank you for this video. I have seen many Christians annoying their houses cars and the like and I thought it was biblical. This tells me I need to dig in deep into the word with the help and understanding from the Holy Spirit. Thanks Lord for continued teachings.
Also have seen or heard that people use the salt and water,too like what Elisha did in 2 Kings 2:20.

I’m a new born Christian and sometimes I remember when I was a child and I asked for help or something, I was told by others would that God was very busy and you just have to wait. I’m about to be 60 and sometimes I have the same thoughts. Right now I have a nasty job and I pray to God that he removes this cup from me, but not by my will, but by his will be done. if I have to stay in it for a little while longer because he’s got something else better prepared for me so it I shall wait for his will

Great video! In the past I just went along with people telling me to anoint my house, kids, office, etc with oil. But I have had questions about it. I see people anointing others at church when they pray for one another. And I starting thinking how is that any different from a witch smudging her home with sage? Also someone at church told me to anoint my door knobs and seats whenever some people come to my house 😳you are so on point in this video and I needed to hear this

Thank you for this. I have been told that I must use oil on my kids,pets,doors and windows. But I never felt comfortable doing that because I believe,as you say,that we are equipped by the Holy Spirit to pray and be led by Him to do what we need to do. I also believe that Jesus is the Name above all Names and all things fall under His authority. But church has put so much pressure on a person that I doubted If I was doing the right thing. But now I know. Thank you again.

Two days ago I was reading in Exodus about this, after reading it I started questioning the use of oil nowadays. But didn't have the time yet to study more about it. So this is a timely answer to my questions😊

I've left my church, which was very NAR/WoF thick. I am unlearning so many things in this past year - I thank God for opening my eyes to His Truth! I'm learning Sola Scriptura and it is so incredibly powerful: The 5 Sola's - Christ Alone, Scripture Alone, Grace Alone, Faith Alone and to the Glory of God Alone is life for me!
