- Today I'll be taking Kenshi's favourite defective Hiver 'Beep' and elevating him to his desired status of master swordsman, along the way he'll collect a number of bounties and vanquish many foes, it's
Kenshi's Beep solo challenge run.
Kenshi is a video game, it's an RPG and/or colony management game and then so much more... This video follows a solo hiver named Beep as he does a big pile of Kenshi all over the place.

Kenshi is very addictive, expect to see more of it on the channel some time, I'd like to do build something large and silly with a great many people.

putting rocks in your backpack and picking up and running with a 500+ kg creature on your back to train strength is the most anime thing i've ever seen i fucking love this channel

I was more struck by the relative realism of it

Sounds like a light jog for a Dragon Ball character, and an above average jog for other anime characters (at most)
sleeping outside a castle and fighting for days on end, getting his arm chopped off, and continuing to fight is a close second
I found Beep entirely by chance on one of my first playthroughs and he was my first companion. He will forever be my sweet, smooth-brained boy.
His robotic counterpart is also something.

I did a play through of kenshi where I started the mechanicus.
Skin Bandit: "You have such nice skin... It would be such a shame if-"
Beep: "Beep is also skeleton :)"
Skin Bandit: "...Huh?"

If you read between the lines with the lore he's not entirely wrong.
Hivers are biological skeletons anyways.
Beep’s existence is the embodiment of the emoticons “D:”, “D::D”
Ahh, brings back memories of my character solo'ing cat-lon in a non-cheese duel that took days of repeated attempts. Eventually scored a lucky knockout on his head and took the opening to steal his weapon.
He then proceeded to stand up and punch my leg off with a single blow.

This is one of those games I can't bring myself to play but love watching
I think a lot of people feel that way about Kenshi and I get it. It's a weird game.
Yeah, I totally understand you, it's entertaining to watch it but looks really awful to play it yourself
@@maskedmonster its alot harder than what it seems my base got raided 3 times in a row and i couldnt even defend my self against the first so all my people died
Same here. Installed it five times, started five times, refunded five time because I don't want to continue. Then I see it again on sale and want to play again for some reason.

Always love to see solo runs in Kenshi, one of my favorite games of all time. Great video as always. I would love to see more.
It's not usually how I play Kenshi since I'm more of a colony management guy, but I had a lot of fun with Beep, will definitely be more Kenshi on the channel at some point.
There are plenty of interesting ways to play.
This video is awesome for showing Kenshi's ridiculous power-levelling stats, bizarre and highly engaging training regimens that sound like madness such as "let yourself get beat to a pulp (just pick targets who don't eat you)" and "run 30 miles to swap limbs then make the return trek"

this was an amazing video. i’m not big brain enough to play kenshi myself, didn’t really have a plan when i did try it. but this was super entertaining and easy to watch
It just hit my mind now, Beep is in fact swearing a lot, something like R2D2 in Star Wars 😂😂, when he was in the peeler, 'beep' were the only words said 😂😂

The most efficient early dexterity grind I know is to go to the town of Mourn and fight the White Gorillo with martial arts. You avoid the one shot attacks by luring him into the second floor and getting him stuck on the furniture in the room. With a low strength character I would get to the early 70s / late 60s by the end while slowly getting more toughness cause of the damage to your arms.

you have a fascinating way of telling stories through games I don't even play , I watched all of your content in the span of 2 days because you kept me glued to my pc, could you ever do a video about storytelling tips and the way you structure your videos ? it would be very interesting !

I found that its tempting to want to upgrade to better ranged weapons like the old world bow or the ranger but ironically a masterwork toothpick is way more cost effective and useful. The reload is extremely quick so you end up having much better dps compared to the "stronger" bows. Hell even the eagle's cross can fall short compared to the toothpick unless your skill is very high to make instant kill gut shots viable for the cross.
That only really applies to enemies with shit armor. Samurai, Crab Raiders, and anyone else with decent armor can take shots from even a masterwork toothpick nearly indefinitely.

You are correct, weapon blunt damage x 40 gives you the correct strength requirement for optimal usage of weapons.
Also you can cheese oh so much in Kenshi without the need for mods.

Hey man, great vid. The efficiency of using any weapon is weapon weight x2. The blunt damage x40 dictates the weapons weight from what I remember. Wish you the best of luck with any future playthrough

I have no idea why but I remember getting the meitou falling sun from the scrap house. But even the wiki says cat-lon has it, not sure why I remember that.
I can relate to beep but like in the fewer thoughts than average way, not in the cyborg kingslayer way.
