  • We made it to Kuala Terengganu on Malaysia's East Coast and this is our first day exploring this beautiful city.
First we headed to the Chinatown here In Kuala Terengganu and I have to say it's one of the coolest we've seen in Malaysia.
We had some delicious Chinese food, visited a beautiful Chinese temple and met some great Malaysian locals as always.
Also tried a Terengganu specialty of Roti Paung Terengganu which was an absolute classic.
We then spent the evening walking down the Kuala Terengganu riverfront which is such a nice area, we checked out the Terengganu drawbridge and summed up our first Impressions of this East Coast Malaysian city.
Kuala Terengganu is another extremely underrated city here in East Coast Malaysia 🇲🇾

Yes. Kuala Terengganu is a city full of traditional Malay architecture. You should take note on the designs of the buildings such as its airport, museum, hotel/resort, market and even city bus.

The last 60 sec of this video is for us as Malaysian about how we should change to improve image and reputation of our country and people to the visitors from the rest of the world. Thank you, Ellis! As a Malaysian we need more honest feedback like this to remind our people how to improve ourselves.

Usually, i will mix the white pepper powder in there so it will taste pepper. The curry noodle look really delicious and creamy like u r mentioned. Gosh.. the fish balls look so huge and spongy. Im from
KL usually u dont see such a huge fish ball. Kuala Terengganu is popular fish meat and really tasty.

East Coast Peninsula Malaysia are more of a place for people who want to laid-back, relax, and experiencing local traditions, not much entertainment over here so you won't find a lot of tourist over here cuz most tourist want to have fun, they usually only go to the islands.

Looks like you are the only 2 European tourists in KT this week, or even this month. I thought when you went to Kuantan, you were the only 2 Europeans there too.
Sometimes i always wonder what have these tourism agencies done that foreign tourists especially Europeans, Japanese, Koreans don't come to the towns on the east coast.
I applaud you for taking rare trips to "sleepy" towns in Peninsular Malaysia such as Kuala Sepetang, Taiping, Sungai Lembing, etc.
Sadly I don't see any tourists information center ℹ️ in the middle of the towns such as Kuantan and Kuala Terengganu, which could give advices, suggestions to tourists of where and what they should visit. I believe you rely on the internet 🛜 and the kindness of locals to guide your travels in these towns.
Note to Malaysia tourism offices : You must realize there is lack of tourists assistance + information centres in these towns, and you must step up the efforts to promote tourism in the towns on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia.

Believe it or not we didn't see another White tourist in our entire stay in Malaysia!
Yes exactly we just look on Google maps or speak to locals and ask them things it's the best way to do it everybody is super kind.
This is what we love to do were not interested in going to the exact same places everyone goes to and making the same exact videos we want to explore and support/meet the people of these more forgotten cities/towns.
The east coast is so nice its strange nobody Visits they all rather go to the famous places. Maybe that's why everybody here is so nice to us because they haven't met the rude and ignorant type of tourists yet
