Hope this works I had my horse tied and she pulled up and started panicking knocked me over cause the gate flew up and hit me and pulled that gate to the center of the pasture🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Oh wow, we are sorry that you and your poor horse got into a mess. What we show here does work, however it takes time and many sessions to where your horse becomes Courageous and Compliant (to the feel of the halter).
Take your time, progressively improve and especially take the time that your horse needs and you will get it done 😊🙋‍♂️

They sell “Tie Rings” you attach to the post and run your lead through that allows the rope to slip through the ring when the horse panics but not get away .

Hi my horse was taught to tie correctly but got a bad scare once when tied up and instead of pulling back he went up and over the hitching post. Now he pulls and then bolts forward. If he had been on the end of your lead rope in this video he would have reared over your head and tried to leap the round yard. Any tips?

That is really sad that your horse had to go through a trauma like that.
The process we show here will help your horse, though it will take time to change his learned behaviour. If you wrap the rope around a round rail and have minimal wraps so that when he pulls back he can drag the rope without feeling a tight hold he will begin to drag the rope back like we showed on the video. Over time, when he becomes more confident he will pull back less and less and eventually you will be able to add another wrap and so more drag. Then over more time he will gain more confidence and be able to move forward off the feel without jumping. This could take a long time and you need a lot of patience to help him, gradually.
      Hope this helps 😊

Find a tall tree with a strong limb to tie to higher than the horse’s head. When they pull back the head goes up, the hind quarters slide forward and the horse thinks they have reached the end of the world. They will jump forward. Go off and leave them to work it out by themselves, no human involved. They will still be there when you return and you will be the one who rescued them.

We do not agree with your described „process“. What you are suggesting is just like throwing a child, who can’t yet swim, in the deep water and letting it find out how to swim or else drown!!
We will much prefer to assist our horses to NOT feel like „they have reached the end of the world“.
We feel that our horses are our friends and we want to assist them in empathetic ways and humane ways.

Thank you this is great my horse can pull away from me. She did it once now it's every time she gets scared or it she just wants to leave run around and go to another bit of grass. I heard about the 2 or 3 rap way .she has broken rope halters broke hitching post and snapped top off a panel. It had rust I didn't know. Looking for a tie thing that looks like half a snap ple bit .you could try one and do a video with it. You can rap rope .once and it slides 2 harder and so on . Forgot the name.I just subscribed I'll be waiting for that and doing your rap tomarrow..☺️👍🐎
