I get thinking the political writing this season has been weak but trying to pretend The Boys hasn't been political is way off base lol did you watch the other seasons like Helen Keller?
The political narrative is not only weak but it just to on the nose! That doesn’t stop us from loving The Boys this just happens to be one of the weaker seasons.
I understand that but the co-host on the left literally stated that The Boys has not been political which was just flat out not true. I think the commentary has always been quite on the nose but so far it has been presented in a much more sillier and goofy fashion which can be a turn off.
I agree that’s why we do these reviews we don’t always agree and don’t always have the same opinion but we both have a love for The Boys. I agree The Boys has always been political but it’s just been done almost like a parody of what the show use to be. But that doesn’t mean I don’t find enjoyment in it just feel this season is a weaker than the others but then again this is only the 3rd episode so I hold out faith!
