There's easter egg with Naofumi's and Wilhelm's interaction. When Wilhem says he sees his younger self in Naofumi, it is callback when there was flashback of younger Wilhelm with Naofumi's voice actor.
I like that the deathknight auto rez'd. You never get to see it in the anime, but in the LN canon it's said they can come back from any attack with 1hp at least once

It's also seems to be based on where the current Anime series are at. If say it was a much later Naofumi or even Tanya the difference would be more surprising. Especially in Shield Hero case and his main group. Though that won't happen till likely a season 3. Well depending on what season 2 covers in Shield Hero. Remember as you hinted Ainz group are pretty much already maxed out from the start of the series.

Stats, skills, and technique can beat enemies 20+ levels higher as Shield Hero has demonstrated multiple times in the anime alone. Overlord is slightly more clear cut with skills, abilities, and tactics still being the clutch, but compared to a 20-30 level difference it is nigh impossible to win. Unless you have a World Item or Wild Magic.

Kirito is nowhere near OP compared to most Isekai Protagonists out there. Even the heroine of the new VR Anime Series "Bofuri" is FAR stronger than Kirito.

And his ability in SAO / ALO is one of the top (due to his gaming skills and experience), but not undefeatable. He lost against Heathcliff, Yuuki (Zekken), even nearly lost to Death Gun had Sinon not interfere. That's not counting bossess in SAO, which clearly he cannot defeat by himself without parties.

I loved how they introduced Shield Hero to the other 4 groups. I love how Ainz interacts with the other characters - especially Aqua, Subaru, and Tanya. Tanya, Ainz are the most OP. Subaru’s cheat skill is return by death and it’s the strongest and worst to have cheat. Kazuma is by far the luckiest hero for the life he gets after reincarnation in another world. Subaru is the most unlucky.
Naofumi is able to interact with older individuals unless its Trash. though I kind of wonder if Trash will show up as a Janitor somewhere in this season.

I was hoping that Raptalia and Rem and Megumine would have a moment, but I think they did a great job of introducing the taciturn Naphomie who loves his allies, all about reuniting with his loved ones. Isekai quartet is so surreal to me. If you pitched me the idea of isekai quartet I would've assumed it was a fanfic. A well written fanfic but a fanfic nonetheless. It's great to see all of these characters with different personalities and stories mingle with one another. My favorite bit is that in shield hero proper, naofumi is hated by everyone except his group. Here, he's like the coolest Chad to roll up at the school lol I can't wait to see how his group will add to the comedy
I had a Blast watching the first Isekai Quartet last year and from that I went back to watch OVERLORD, Konosuba, Tanya watching back in winter 2017 season and last year watching The Rising of the Shield Hero became one my favorite animes and been buying the Novel and Manga. seeing Naofumi, Raphtalia and Filo there It just BLOW OUT FAN SERIVCE Just got more exited with season 2. awesome review
Season two has risen and the writers of Isekai Quartet must have a lovely time making this masterpiece. The OverlyCautious Hero would have a good time in this too. Yo, I want to reach the different bases with I mean play baseball with Darkness.
God just imagine what a serious very of this anime series would be like from how differently these characters very first meeting would be and obviously just how different every interaction from that point on would be as well as how the people in the world that they've been placed in would react their sudden appearance in the world and so on and so forth.
So Naofumi and Co have joined the roster huh? Cool! I wonder who will be next? Seriously though, if they start adding a ton of characters to the crossover it's going to become just like waiting for the next Smash Bros reveal. 😂
I think it’s so cool to see the power gap between the worlds. I mean, Naofumi by then is about lvl40~ and defended against a ball batted by a lvl 100 NPC. Of course, it wasn’t a proper attack, but, that’s no small feat from someone lvl 40 or so (which is around Clementine/Gazef).
I really hoped that it would start like this: Myne comes first and makes a really good impression. Then Naofumi comes and she freaks out and accuses him once again and spear boy pops up and takes her side, then Raphthalia has to be held back by Naofumi and he activates Mynes curse to punish her for her lies and expose her...
So the shield hero joins season 2, just imagine if the overly cautious hero arrives the next season, plus Aqua won't be the only useless goddess, Ristarte will join her 😂

I hate how people downplay this series all the time, this is still the closest thing to anime avengers. I can fantasize about it one day becoming a big budget movie and nobody can tell me with certainty that it won't happen because it's become a very real possibility.
a thing to note on the Strength scaling. that was Mare who hit the baseball. who probably is the weakest physically of Ainz' group. he is specked to be a caster.
My only question is how they're going to have Naofumi interact with the others without being in the same class, there isn't a lot of interaction between the classes in schools.
I know that season2 only just started but imagine in season 3 slime and cautious hero being added to the fray and the episode is a full length one since there are that many casts to showcase and interact.
@@dfmrcv862 it isn't sadly, and because of that it's probably not gonna end up in the series since all the present ones are from Kadokawa and Slime isnt.
One thing I noted is that Shield Hero blocked a base ball innocently batted by Mare Bello Fiore, one of the physically weakest guardians of Nazarick and had to use both air shields and his regular shield to just deflect it. If Mare switched to spell casting with hostile intent which is his strongest ability set, they would have been toast, high defense or not.
Characters that need to be added 1. Slime "Boi" 2. Hajime 3. Perfectly Ready 😉 When I think about it ... Hajime and Naofumi is emo a combo Ainz and Rimuru another monster combo Tanya and Seiya ready perfect combo Kazuma and Subaru uuhhh combo
While it is true the overall groups the strongest would definitely be Ain's group, but due to how match-up works, our useless goddess potentially is potentially capable of wiping out entire Ain's group by herself, since their entire party are undeads and demons weak against holy element (may be with the exception to Aura and Mare as they are dark elf not demon or undead).

I had a Blast watching the first Isekai Quartet last year and from that I went back to watch OVERLORD, Konosuba, Tanya watching back in winter 2017 season and last year watching The Rising of the Shield Hero became one my favorite animes and been buying the Novel and Manga. seeing Naofumi, Raphtalia and Filo there It just BLOW OUT FAN SERIVCE Just got more exited with season 2. awesome review
You should continue with Saga of Tanya the Evil movie. Direct sequel to the anime.

Season two has risen and the writers of Isekai Quartet must have a lovely time making this masterpiece. The OverlyCautious Hero would have a good time in this too. Yo, I want to reach the different bases with I mean play baseball with Darkness.
Cautious hero is in the anime but maybe he's a little bit to cautious to enter the school

God just imagine what a serious very of this anime series would be like from how differently these characters very first meeting would be and obviously just how different every interaction from that point on would be as well as how the people in the world that they've been placed in would react their sudden appearance in the world and so on and so forth.

I think it’s so cool to see the power gap between the worlds.
I mean, Naofumi by then is about lvl40~ and defended against a ball batted by a lvl 100 NPC.
Of course, it wasn’t a proper attack, but, that’s no small feat from someone lvl 40 or so (which is around Clementine/Gazef).
I really hoped that it would start like this: Myne comes first and makes a really good impression. Then Naofumi comes and she freaks out and accuses him once again and spear boy pops up and takes her side, then Raphthalia has to be held back by Naofumi and he activates Mynes curse to punish her for her lies and expose her...

I hate how people downplay this series all the time, this is still the closest thing to anime avengers.
I can fantasize about it one day becoming a big budget movie and nobody can tell me with certainty that it won't happen because it's become a very real possibility.

a thing to note on the Strength scaling. that was Mare who hit the baseball. who probably is the weakest physically of Ainz' group. he is specked to be a caster.
Check mare status, he actually has high status on pyhsical despite being a druid.
My only question is how they're going to have Naofumi interact with the others without being in the same class, there isn't a lot of interaction between the classes in schools.
It’s weird though, because Filo looks about as tall as Naofumi.
I know that season2 only just started but imagine in season 3 slime and cautious hero being added to the fray and the episode is a full length one since there are that many casts to showcase and interact.

One thing I noted is that Shield Hero blocked a base ball innocently batted by Mare Bello Fiore, one of the physically weakest guardians of Nazarick and had to use both air shields and his regular shield to just deflect it. If Mare switched to spell casting with hostile intent which is his strongest ability set, they would have been toast, high defense or not.

While it is true the overall groups the strongest would definitely be Ain's group, but due to how match-up works, our useless goddess potentially is potentially capable of wiping out entire Ain's group by herself, since their entire party are undeads and demons weak against holy element (may be with the exception to Aura and Mare as they are dark elf not demon or undead).
