I love what you said, Greg; so much mystery that one lifetime simply isn’t enough; we’re spoiled with avenues of exploration and ways of self discovery. I’m very much looking forward to the book by these two individuals as a Christmas gift to myself this year. Hope it isn’t sold out by that time. Lovely.
When I first heard Thomas talking about space travel being supernatural and indescribable in a purely mechanistic sense, it actually helped me to understand earlier epochs in the distant past in the Vedic sense. When I first read Subramuniyaswami, he talked about reality itself being different in earlier Yugas. So when you get these Ancient Aliens types who want to force mythology into a mechanistic paradigm, they aren't even considering that things like space, time, the distance between objects, movement, and matter, all existed in the distant past, but were experienced and apprehended in a completely different way.
Crabs in a bucket. I've heard professionals sometimes use long instruments to pull people from water , cause often if they get grabbed the drowning person can pull them down with them .
Becoming a parent does connect you to the magic world again, because to who do you read the fairy tale stories? Your children, but also to your old and present self.
What a great find after Hocus Focus drought! Sara still confined to kitchen! Nessie being Faery, yes was coming round to that a few years ago. Seen it a few times. And on Space - have you ever thought how coincidental it is that the Earth is so isolated from other stars or even planets. There is almost zero chance of us ever being able to physically prove or experience anything from outer space.. funny that.. almost intentionally created that way you might think
I think folklore has the great potential to be a space for people to take their imagination back from corporations desiring to wrap them in plastic simulations, what stories do we tell ourselves?
Given what you lot touched on vis a vis the "Western" genre, each of you simply must read Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian (even if you've already read it: 5 times read, here).
Sorry you really do need to listen to the American John lamb lash when you mention Gnosticism because he has a very different take on it,he has the qualification and experience that for me means he should be listening to,however apart from that one gripe ,thank you for a very good interview with two very good guests
There is that one swimming game for the ps4, and in the only part of the game we're you step out of the water. And you have to dive back in. Seeing the bones and animals animals I new what to expect from that drop. I l kind of got sentimental. Why is the long nick anfegian fish sush a scary figure?

I expect it'll be in print for a good while.

It's the perfect time for it.

I mentioned the work of Joseph Chilton Pearce in another comment and would recommend it again here in case you're not already familiar.

What if the world is the way it is because all the guardian angels and spirits are alcoholic from dealing with us?
They are probably on harder stuff at this point!! 😂
@@strumminronin I knew mine smoked Crack. That has to be it.
That explains it! Tullamore Dew comes from heaven!
Makes me look at alcoholics in a new light!
Just finished the recording of “As If” and this is the first video that popped up!!! YIPPEE!
All good!

You’re on to something there.
YAYYYYYYYY 🎉❤😂 1ST TO COMMENT. HI GREG, SARA AND THOMAS!!
Hi!
It seems most people lose the magic of life when they ‘grow up’.
Exactly why this occurs I’m not sure.
See the work of Joseph Chilton Pearce. I did one podcast with him a few years ago.
Talking of westerns what about El Topo by Alejandro Jodorowsky it is full of Symbolism Metaphors etc.
Great movie.
Thomas could just be a nice faun

Thanks for the tip.

Thanks. I do know the work of Lash.
