FYI Storm of Ukko also increases the combo counter. I was just playing with a similar build but without nourish. When you link enemies in the storm, the combo counter tops off.

Cool build but I like mine works for me.... I hit more damage and my set up is completely different but u definitely made some valid points for some things I don't use to give a try

I understand that this video is about Kullervo, but I was wandering, with this new build if the title of best melee Warframe still belonged to Voruna or not ?
Easy QoL when going back into warframe as long as you slam within a second or two , opening slam will still proc - so operator - to warframe followed with a quick slam does same thing , just easier on some tile sets etc and situations
Only thing I'm not crazy about is the faction mod, but it's hard to not see the immediate benefits, that multiplicative damage multiplier (thanks Nightmare for that explanation about additive vs. multiplicative) that the faction mod gives is always beautiful.

I like to use either Ceramic Dagger Incarnon, my Exodia Contagion Zaw or my Glaive Prime on Kullervo. If you use Glaive Prime or Exodia Contagion you don't use his one to heavy attack enemies but you hold it down to just teleport and gain the crit buff
Same I can't understand why I never see content creators use it kullervo benefits from it the best while using rauta got my ceramic incarnon crit multiplier to 26.2 the best so far for me

melee exposure on atlas or khora with you stat stick being radiation is absolutely insane
Kullervo is from Finnish folklore Kalevala and rauta means iron.
There is also a bug where you can’t toggle baneful blades the option is removed completely

Skill 1 sometimes not active even u see the icon buff on screen with 700% crit but u won't deal red crit at all for a certain time

If I get to the point in Endurance Run with Kullervo where the Enemy oneshot my Overguard, I'm just dying. The overguard window of 0.5 seconds is difficult to master.

Play him with Hate incarnon with a decent riven, regularly can hit -2 billion damage, its completely bonkers. He can hit numbers for enemies he will never reach because that tiny overguard gets eaten pretty quick. A way to make him comfortably invisible would be cherry on top.

@@skinnydelegateofrhyme8637 have you ever done endurance runs where mobs scale in a way that 40k (mine has 32k or so) is like nothing? even in regular sp mot the 2 spamming gets a bit tedious after a while. the "tiny" was a bit ironic in the currnet powercrept meta but it is still nothing when enemies hit you for millions, you know where revenant still doesnt give a fuck, 1 mesmer skin charge>any amount of overguard. for that matter, tiny shield>overguard. But you talk about archons, so levels that overguard works fine, it just doesnt scale that well, hence my "tiny"
I think eclipse with DR could work amazing on him. Arcane steadfast and Reaper and Nourish on 2, build combo with 4 and the new augment.I can be more explicit

It became like that 3mil ironskin rhino. Its hard to feel like a video is waste of time, but this was one of those.
Yeah kullervo is pretty great, yeah you can stack numbers, and yeah the enemies will drop the same way or even faster is a lower investment build, but sometimes you just want to forget that diminishing returns is a thing and stack the biggest number you can and yet not reaching negative numbers.
Not really. Explaining all components is alot, but in actual gameplay most of it is automatic. You just run around pressing your abilities and shooting rauta.
Still prefer contagion with kullervo as its brain dead and can scale with any content. No build up needed. Great theory craft for sure and love the destiny theme 😎
Bought him yesterday, just a newb, but been watchin vids, ur the first to explain the combo aspect, gl 👊🏻 also i was to,d the syam is his best melee.. i hate it, i mean it does a cool like distance and like shoots... idk how to explain, sure u know, but my fav melee weapons were the ether daggers i think, daggers anyway and the cassowar.. definitely going back to the daggers, gl, and now we're to his shotgun, again awesome, ty!
Is it possible to go for a pure ability nuke build with him? I don't rly like the combo mechanic.
Interesting, i love his synergy, idk about a one ability nuke but ability 1 might be your best bet, 4 is alright but is mainly for building combo/ area denial
His 3 is also good for nuking but you need a decent weapon to deal the actual damage

Just wondering why not using ceramic dagger? I can get the crit multipler up to 26.2 and easily scoring billions of dmg love your content but feels there is a lot more potential been maining Kullervo and can definitely agree last update really helped him

i was gonna say why bother using a dagger when you can use the plague kripath since it also does slash on heavy. It also has viral by default. But then I read that "Tip" that you have to dig through to find that you showed. You gain additional combo count with Collective Curse if you're using a dagger. Which is something not mentioned in this video.
I can see why the tip would make somebody think that, but it's just referring to Kullervo's ability "daggers" on Recompense and Storm, not to actual equipped daggers. (I verified this in game. A dagger had the same melee combo propagation as a dual sword with Collective Curse, when I used equivalent 200% stance combos.)

@@galixeesgrotto5805 It would certainly work, and rapiers are a favorite of mine. Zaw daggers are very good though. Probably a better stance, arguably an easier heavy attack to use, slightly faster wind-up, slightly higher damage and better forced slash. Can be used with the argonak mod if you want armor stripping.
@@tiltskillet7085 eh... argo mod yes. The rest, nah. Unless the damage id obscenely superior. With the rapier, as long as you swing the mouse, assuming your playing pc, around as the heavy attack initiates you can literally get a full 360 degree spin off and hit everything in that time frame. So Rapiers are not just a simple lunge and done. lol
@@galixeesgrotto5805 The spin heavy is why I said "arguably" and "easier" rather than "better". But that technique can be used by most weapon classes, including daggers. It's going to be another trade off. The rapier heavy has great range so can hit more targets. Daggers have better follow through, so aren't penalized as much for hitting multiple targets.

No offence here, just asking: is this build playable vs 9999 or at 9999 curcuit with random weapons and no vixen or is it just a joke/meme build to have stupidly big numbers on low-lvl enemies when you have nothing to invest into?
Because no shields looks like no shields, overguard or not.
U can use inaros till level 9999 if skilled enough
@@johankaruyan5536 I actually did it more than once, for a bet. Not chill enough for me, and the build had the helminth ability slot occupied.
Its Kullervo so its playable vs 9999 or in 9999 circuit as long there are multiple enemies around. Because how Kullervo works it likely works with any shitty melee in Circuit as well.
If you guys also go outside, spin in a circle, preheat the oven to 360, wait 30 seconds, then do the hokey pokey you can get 30% MORE dmg too. And the combo only takes 10-15 minutes.

@@andrewphoto4750 It has low dispo because its pretty new. You can still use the riven if you roll more multishot. Gives you even more melee combo.

Thats good stuff here, but there are some things: 1) u can have Viral from Nourish, Radiation on melee and Corrosive from Exposure, but if u want to One shot anyway, u dont need status. I tested it and Melee Exposure is scaling more, if u put Corrosive on ur Melee, so: just put much Corrosive (like Focus energy, Shocking Touch And Primed fever Strike) and Bane or Pressure Point mod. That deals much dmg!
2) Rauta gives only up to 28 Combo count, before u can gain another 28 Combo count, that mean if ure shoot all bullets at a target (- Spread and +Firerate helps very much), Hell's Chamber is enough for Rauta build (+Magazine capacity is comforable too)
3) Also, speed is cool, but u've got already much heavy attack wind up speed. Hammers can give u more dmg and some cool and okey fast animation; u could enjoy it
Dont forget that incarnon give more base dmg and u can gain Combo count fast without Zaws
So u've got here good Kullervo, Rauta.. builds, just not perfect. I like ur videos very much!

Dagger bleed proc on heavy attack doesn't get the full 5x damage multiplier for the DoT(it gets 2.5x damage multiplier as the wiki says)

Naramon, savage silence, arcane agress, heavy blade dokram kullervo. Get those crazy red crits with an addition 850% dmg, another 300% cd and another 250ish% cc on top of wrathful
Less KPM than other builds because you're putting all your eggs into one basket. Overdamage is useless
@@6ghoul9 kpm is fine. Silence mainly works as extra crowd control with the option to execute. It's actually very similar to his build. I just don't need to run nourish.

@@TheCleverJoker It works fine, but casting speed like one of those things in game if you try once, you don't feel like going back. The smoothness in gameplay is quite satisfactory, definitely best pick for flex mod slots (which is quite rarity in wf if you know xD).
cast speed is must have at hight lv, with almost all WF. But one shard is easier choice imo. because 4 purple shard is more than overkill@@meez5824
@@atwarroyal8770 I agree with but not for Kullervo. He doesn't need any casting speed and using it for only one Helminth ability feels like a waste. I wouldn't use Nourish anyway. Having viral on all of your weapons is too build limiting, especially when using weapons without forced procs.
If you use a primer and CO you can deal even more damage but that does require you to prime, might be useful for acolytes but considering the damage that is already there it's absolutely optional.

My Kullervo build has no primed mods 1 forma, I use a heavy Zaw with exodia contagion, Nourish + Ravenous Advance and boom! 1-5 million DMG red crits consistently from pressing 2 buttons and nothing else

Overguard
Overguard has a shield gate and status immunity while being extremely easy to fill up
@@Shade00789 overguard is paper at high level and juggling his short i-frames is way harder than you think, he dies instantly at lvl~1000... but I have a plan for that
@@SusloNick I did a solo (silence helminth) levelcap but unf it wasnt deathless and getting stacks back wasnt fun. Here are some words I hope would make your run less painful than mine - vaz + rolling guard + 75 % casting speed all is necessary if you wish to go overguard spam for survivability(absolute cancer).

The problem with kulervo 1st ability is it consume combo when you use it
It's meant to, it's a cc boosting heavy attack. You can always teleport into the air or a wall for the cc boost instead to avoid losing combo, but with naramon focus + Zaw with arcane triumph it's very easy to regain combo.
