Bursting mass is not particulary good because it doesn't hit through walls. But its good in a sense that it reduces your bubbles to 1. Why is that good? Because when bubbles collide with each other they catch momentum. And if you wanna use the weapon for bubble only - there is a great synergy in having reduced projectile speed say on a riven. It will cripple your prime fire mode, but the bubble you creat will just spawn on you and won't move. But again - its not too reliable because enemies will push the bubble around. In that sense Simulor is prolly just better (since it does the same, but doesn't block enemy fire)
@@WispGraxx simulor vortex does the same buffing while not intercepting projectiles. Notice how its 'projectiles' so it can buff anything that comes through. I'm extremely curious; I thought Galvanized Aptitude doesn't work on the blast/ AoE/ radial attack, but I'm getting a vibe that you're suggesting that it does, or that it does on some weapons maybe? Like you said "and that's without Aptitude" when showcasing the TombFinger's AoE. Maybe I'm just reading too much into it.
No it doesnt but a lot of explosives get multiplicative CO on direct hits making them crazy strong if you are aiming directly at enemies. Tombfinger and envoy are great examples
@@WispGraxxAh, gotcha I thought that might be the case. I need to take a deeper look at AOE in general, haven't given it a fair shot since the nerf. I usually disregard the direct hit (little damage on many of the old metas) and go Modified Munitions + Prime Firestorm. Your Stahlta vid peaked my interest again.
Man i have something to say to every weapon (i'm just as AOE obsessed as you are lol). For me personally, a massive factor of a good AOE gun is the FUN part. Does it feel good to shoot? Does it sound good? Does is look good? Would've been agreat factor you could've put in.
I agree with both of these comments I couldn't care less about Torid, even if it evaporates rooms in nanoseconds gimme sumthing like Buzlok, Braton, Sporothrix or Komorex over that puny ass pathetic little beam that is Torid, any day of the week :D

I get the whole some weapons damage is jus worse bu, 1, tha doesn really affect some stuff as much as you would think an 2, either your showcase was very unoptimized or something cause certain weapons, prime example is the spore lacer, did significantly better than some higher rated weapons, the sporelacer slander was bad, i get its secondary is better, bu li seeing it in action it was equal to alot of the others in terms of damage as it was stronger at firs bu cant stack more damage really like the others, which lead to it feeling more consistent in the video than some of the higher tiered weapons while still being same in terms of damage
For max damage yes. Even if double tap is still buggy and the 400% bonus changes to 140% when you change from incarnon to not incarnon you can still benefit from it. Its also a big downside for me that it instantly loses all stack if you miss a bullet. All comes down to preference really
@@WispGraxx I use it because it ramps damage without requiring a kill, it's multiplicative, and by the time it gets bugged I have other buffs active to keep damage up. It also makes the normal mode noticably stronger. Sometimes I play around with primary fire only because of how dramatic the buff is.
It's kind annoying to keep up which reduces the usability by quiete a bit, but again, that's subjective! If you're willing to make the trade off, it's 100% stronger. Also, in the last big patch they fixed the interaction with Double Tap and one of the Aero mods, which previously increased the timer on the Double Tap mod.
@@WispGraxx yea i guess in that case it’s still worth over normal savvy if you’re gonna use primary fire; i basically never use primary fire on corinth prime lol
Are archguns viable for steelpath etc.? I've been thinking of driving mausolon in regular missions, but haven't tried it yet and don't have elem mods. Nothing crazy, no lvlcap, maybe an archon hunt at most.
Sorry for the late answer. Despite popular belief many archguns are sp viable especially with their recent buffs. The kuva grattler has some insane prowess in close corridor missions like the grineer tilesets
So many guns performed way better than the stahlta on this list. Also, stahlta isnt new player friendly at all since you need a god roll to play it on a high level but the gun its better than avg thats for sure!
Stahlta can do level cap with ease without any rivens at all, it is absolutely new player friendly since it is MR 10 and ANY gun that is up to MR 10 doesn't come close to the pure stopping power of the stahlta. I have a bias but anyone that has tried it so far and with all the push I have given it, there has not been a SINGLE person so far to tell me it either felt "underwhelming" or "not that great" Everyone simply said its OP and good for every kind of mission
Every gun can go level cap with 30 buffs and armor strip @@WispGraxx the gun lacks fire rate too so you are missing a slot if you don't play wisp or a warframe that gives you fire rate... I rate it A- and i know your favorite gun and i understand and respect your opinion, but please stop forcing your opinion on people. Its not the best, I have a god roll and i spent 8 forma on it! The gun its great but takes so many recourses to make it good. Thats why to me its not new player friendly. Remember that we can disagree and its ok to do so.
I am probably just a scrub but I don't understand the strun incarnon... It's damage seems to get worse when I go to incarnon mode, as opposed to my other incarnon. I think I must be modding incorrectly to do good damage when in incarnon, idk though.
He mentioned that more RAW dmg is simply more enjoyable for him, you see bigger numbers. Of course its not the optimal "min-maxed" approach, but on those weapons you do not need to do this AT ALL. Those weapons are so stupid strong with even a normal build.

@@WispGraxx No, you´re not comparing weapons, youre comparing your builds, I never said rivens were not valid, i said, rivens and buffs are not fair for cheking if a weapon is great or bad since every weapon is great with rivens and buffs
But how you said it, it okay to be wrong, not everyone has common sence

What about the Gotva? It has a smoll AoE too, its one of my fav weapons.
With its perk it has some interesting builds.
Man i have something to say to every weapon (i'm just as AOE obsessed as you are lol).
For me personally, a massive factor of a good AOE gun is the FUN part. Does it feel good to shoot? Does it sound good? Does is look good?
Would've been agreat factor you could've put in.
True but this is subjective. Some people like the feel of the Chakkhurr for example and I simply hate it
I agree with both of these comments
I couldn't care less about Torid, even if it evaporates rooms in nanoseconds
gimme sumthing like Buzlok, Braton, Sporothrix or Komorex over that puny ass pathetic little beam that is Torid, any day of the week :D
@@Hejirah Facts! I have some of the most brutal guns in the game with all the good rivens etc. but i donnt see myself using most of em.
I love guns that are versatile, look good, sound good, have build variety aand jusdt feeeel good.
Also very based mentions, Braton, Sporo and Komorex are some of my favorites as well! (even got 3 Rivens for the sporo lol, let me know if you want one, its one me :P)
got 2 rivs for the sporo, but thx for the offer dude XD@@coldfries8976
btw, buzlok can rival braton incarnon, no lie
Sporelacer with right riven hits diff. Bigger mag/reload speed/element
Yes, the secondary. The primary is horrible compared to the other options
ye the 2/5 dispo is kinda bad tho
reload speed? Pax charge is right there
I get the whole some weapons damage is jus worse bu, 1, tha doesn really affect some stuff as much as you would think an 2, either your showcase was very unoptimized or something cause certain weapons, prime example is the spore lacer, did significantly better than some higher rated weapons, the sporelacer slander was bad, i get its secondary is better, bu li seeing it in action it was equal to alot of the others in terms of damage as it was stronger at firs bu cant stack more damage really like the others, which lead to it feeling more consistent in the video than some of the higher tiered weapons while still being same in terms of damage
I'm just starting to listen, but I'll ask a question: what are, let's say, 3 warframes that will work best when using these weapons? 🤔
Mirage,Gauss,Wisp,Saryn. Generally gun buffers
Have the tombfinger setup, but I dont really play wisp, so my fire rate is atrocious. Is it still worth using? Should i mod in firerate?
If you have a flex Arcane slot on the frame, Arcane for fire rate can help with this a LOT.
Latron needs Double Tap instead of Serration.
@@coldfries8976 When you get multishot up, the second tap does full damage. I rarely need the third.
Just waiting for Stahlta at this point. Needs their own video!
38:20 wait its an aoe wouldnt galv savvy not apply to it?
Savvy does give status chance and still gives damage to primary fire. Status chance on secondary fire helps a ton for my build cause viral proc
@@WispGraxx yea i guess in that case it’s still worth over normal savvy if you’re gonna use primary fire; i basically never use primary fire on corinth prime lol
If we do incarnons here, then why no braton on the list? Its so nice w as buffs, can provide my rivens for review
@@WispGraxx dw s'all good ❤ thank you and keep on keeping on
You missed the fact that Nataruk is multiplicative gunCO, it hits absurdly hard with the galvanized mod and an arcane unlike yours lol
Does the Stahlta have forced impact procs on both fire modes?
No, just the alt fire. But the primary fire is slash based so it will do bleed procs on its own
Just picked up the kuva ogris after watching this and the top 10 primaries, do you have a non riven version of it, or what would you replace it with?
Probably vigilante armaments. If not then hellfire
tyyyyyy@@WispGraxx
though i guess these mods are pretty basic so even a not great riven, can pretty easily beat these @@WispGraxx
I have a bias but anyone that has tried it so far and with all the push I have given it, there has not been a SINGLE person so far to tell me it either felt "underwhelming" or "not that great"
Everyone simply said its OP and good for every kind of mission
Every gun can go level cap with 30 buffs and armor strip @@WispGraxx the gun lacks fire rate too so you are missing a slot if you don't play wisp or a warframe that gives you fire rate... I rate it A- and i know your favorite gun and i understand and respect your opinion, but please stop forcing your opinion on people. Its not the best, I have a god roll and i spent 8 forma on it! The gun its great but takes so many recourses to make it good. Thats why to me its not new player friendly. Remember that we can disagree and its ok to do so.
finally someone praising Komorex
My good sir
Why is boar prime incarnon not on this list i wanna know is it good?
A reminder that gunCo does not work on latron
Who's calling strun prime mediocre ? I don't think your build has enough status. I'd say go for the status perk and try it out. Top 5 incarnons imo
I am happy with it the way it is already. Level cap viable with really good aoe and crit allows me to hunter munitions
I am probably just a scrub but I don't understand the strun incarnon... It's damage seems to get worse when I go to incarnon mode, as opposed to my other incarnon. I think I must be modding incorrectly to do good damage when in incarnon, idk though.
@@WispGraxx Status perk makes the gun have 500% status, natural slash > HM
Would ignis wraith not run hunter munitions if not running weapon buffing frame?
What idle animation is that on your wisp?
That is Xaku Agile
What is "daily driver" and why are shotguns not "daily drivers"?
Daily Drivers are weapons you take into every mission regardless of circumstances. Shotgun lacking range cannot be daily drivers for that reason
Tombfinger , what are the parts?
Tremor, Splat
@@WispGraxx oh thank you
why did you put seration in your burston incarnon wouldnt other mods be better?
He mentioned that more RAW dmg is simply more enjoyable for him, you see bigger numbers.
Of course its not the optimal "min-maxed" approach, but on those weapons you do not need to do this AT ALL. Those weapons are so stupid strong with even a normal build.
Aptitude does not work on Burston, you need 13 statuses to make it better than Serration
@@FiveN9neyeah but you don't need to put aptitude either...
Isn’t aptitude just not really working on aoe weapons?
Max multishot Cernos Prime with explosive arrows = meta demolisher 😏 (it sucks complete ass like that)

why does my stahlta do shit damage sir
alright so instantly u have some weapons that arnt aoe (for me at least) but instead are jsut big bullet
dread paris plasmeer quellor nataruk
I explained that weapons with infinite punch through are gonna count (the zenith isnt here because its hitscan and not projectile)
they affect a wide area, hence you could say they are "area of effect"
@@WispGraxx u mean weapons with big ass bullets count not large punch through cus that makes more sense then what u just typed
@@noahedenborg4221no. Zenith is the only weapon in the game with infinite pt that isnt included into this list and that is because it is hitscan. Without a projectile you cant get any width and therefore no AoE, so it is not included. Every other infinite pt weapon is included normally
To make it a bit easier to understand. If you took the guns you mentioned and shot at a mag bubble they would all pierce through every target at least once, zenith doesnt
@@WispGraxx i can see that logic
tho zenith is 1 of 2 normal weapons with infinite punch through most others on this list only have infinite body pt
but yeah aoe hit more then 1 enemy i can kinda see it
