Join Danielle and I as we kayak down the Verde River with Verde Adventure Tours. (sedonaadventuretours.com/) There isn't a more relaxing way to kayak down the Verde River than with Verde Adventure Tour's Water to Wine package. We stayed at The Tavern Hotel where Verde Adventure Tours picked us up, dropped us off at the launch point, you then kayak down the Verde River for 90-120 minutes (depending on your pace) and you finish your kayaking at the base of Alcantara Vineyards. You then proceed to have a wine tasting at Alcantara Vineyards. Then Verde Adventure Tours picks you up and takes you back to the hotel! Perfect day!
Make sure to bring sunscreen, bug spray, and a cooler with your refreshments (alcoholic or non).

Is there any difference on kayaking tandem vs single ?

No, but the kayaks were very light and flat. So they turned on a dime. So could be tougher with two. We only saw one person in them at a time. But very smooth river.
