    Leave jumpsuit with sleeves as is. Sometimes if sleeves are too short, it can look like prison jumpsuits. I love the colors you used to dye your pieces! I have yet to do this, but after watching how you do it, I think I will feel comfortable trying it out.

      Keep the sleeves with the casual rollup. If you cut it , it'll just be a shade away from looking like farmwear.

    They all turned out so perfect! I am loving all the flip vids this month. Personally I like to roll my sleeves, so I'd leave the jumpsuit how it is in it's new amazing color.

    that jumpsuit came out sooo beautifully!! personally i love the sleeves the way they are, it has a real 70s vibe to it that i adore and i think it looks great on you! i can see why you would want them short, but if you leave them long there could be more layering options! just a thought, i think it'll look adorable either way 🌼if you do go short, maybe a bit longer than usual like just above the elbow could be cute!

    Green is a cool color, like blue and purple. Warns are yellow orange red. Love the yellow jumpsuit.

    • @WellLoved
      @WellLoved  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I usually call it whatever tone it has more of - since it’s on the line of yellow and blue - this tone has more yellow, so it plays more warm to me!

    • @meman6964
      @meman6964 ปีที่แล้ว

      Green can skew warm when it is lime, neon, mint, spring grass green. Emerald, forest, crayon green are cool. Teal can go either way.

    Adey, I can’t believe this! I bought a beautiful Coldwater Creek shirtwaist dress-probably from the 90’s as there are shoulder pads-in a very light beige (Natural-looking color!) and I was thrilled with it! That WAS, in fact, UNTIL I got it home and noticed a light slightly rusty looking stain sprayed all over the skirt! So, I began researching how to dye fabric (This is 100% cotton!) but have been very nervous about moving ahead with it-Especially because Rit Dye doesn’t have the color I wanted (So firstly…THANKS ADEY for the info about mixing the two dyes and the Rit DyeChart!). I feel a whole lot more comfortable after watching you work with your 3 pieces and even a little more confident as you did each flip! So, I will try dying the dress AND try using a bleach solution on some dark jeans I want to lighten a great deal! Thanks so much for this video, and for the knowledge that you are always sharing with your subscribers/viewers! I am very excited about my foray into dying! I hope mine turns out half as great as your flips did! Reminder…I must ALWAYS check the garments that I thrift very carefully-especially when I am surprised to see such a beautiful piece at the thrift store! Why would someone get rid of such a nice dress? Sometimes it is a rip in a seam 😃 and sometimes a spray of some light wood stain!! 😜 (Obviously, it did not come out in the wash though I tried my best!). Thanks again for your video, and the encouragement and knowledge it gave me! Have a great weekend Adey!!!

    I was so obsessed with the final color of the jumpsuit I tried to recreate it with overalls i had. Lol they were more brown than i thought and they just became cream colored. So i washed and dried and then re-dyed with Marigold Rit dye and i love them! Thanks for the inspiration!

    All your items turned out really well, I'm surprised you got the exact colours you were aiming for. Well done.😁
    Just a heads up to some of your viewers, you really need to check that the fabric can take that sort of high temperatures, as you could end up with substantial shrinkage and some things could be ruined. Also some fabrics do not take dye ( as your lining showed) and bleaches well, some denim can turn a brownish colour really quite unattractive. I have found stretch jeans can do so.
    I have just hand washed with cool water, some beautiful trousers that had a 30d machine wash label and the length has substantial shrinkage and I'm most disappointed. Even though the water was much cooler than the label suggests. Just something to consider.
    I thrift almost all my clothes and have been for years, before it became a trend, I'm 57 now and still love to find that perfect item 🤗
    Just found your channel you are a fun Ray of sunshine 🌞

    Great result! I love that you reuse clothes, but would really like to see that you had an environmental mindset all the way. Is the bleach you use environmentally friendly? Bleaching agents are usually incredibly bad for the environment, and difficult to sort out from the water in treatment plants.
