I got you for the stalkers my man. The slugger magazineless shotgun Will stagger them backwards and you can typically take on three to four at the same time with it. The downside is that hunters become a bit more problematic and you will have to spray them down with a handgun. There's nothing special about the slugger on paper but it does actually have some knockback stagger to it and you can end up blowing off hiveguard legs with it pretty easily too. It's my go-to weapon now for terminanids.
It's my go-to weapon for everything now. Also having part of utility of grenade launcher like destroying fences and containers and automatons just feels great..
@@BubbleMayhem I'd usually just jump pack over them but you have to run the shield backpack to survive helldive right? So I guess gernade launcher would be useful.
@@soulbounddoll1826 Jump pack's long cooldown is a major weakness right now. It has its uses for running away or getting to cheeky high-ground spots, but it's typically a waste of a backpack slot. It is also kind of buggy and doesn't always boost you as high as it should.
I've also yet to one-shot a Bile Titan with the railgun, despite hearing about it quite a few times. the hitbox is probably like 2 pixels of its eyes or somethin lol (or it doesn't exist and we're being gaslit)
For real probably the most inconsistent thing in the game. I'm level 50. I've tried using unsafe mode, I've tried waiting for the glowing green light on the charge bile attack, shooting at while puking, everything... No problem thank you for your other comment/tip everyone really does get to see everything a different way so learning together is always alot faster! Alot of these things came from comments that you guys all pointed out to me to try in solo videos!
For the bile titan, you can still use a Safety mode and kill with one shot (slightly rare), mostly 2 shots, but you need to wait before or shortly after they vomit on you to get the easy kill. I dropped at least 6 bile titans in one mission before hitting half of my 20 shots. It is also critical to have a flat angle to shoot their heads (like you're trying to angle the shot to go down his mouth and through his body).
If you shoot while he's spitting, the animation will stop. If you're trying for the one shot it's about absolute precision and placing one right between the eyes.
You can mark optional Objective (like the Stalker Nest) on the Map, even if you havent discovered them. I just spamclick my Mapmarker everywhere where it isnt red while i wait for my Gear and see if it turns into a Rectangle. You then see on your Compass which Objective it is. Rushing the Stalker Nests as the very first Thing, makes your Life a lot easier.
thank you for showing more than the easily known way to kill tanks and the AA turrets. those two are the banes of my existence since i always have to use all of my stratagems for them specifically, and if i dont have them im useless against them.

One thing I would add about Hulks is that its often better to go for the legs. Instead of shooting the body twice with rockets, go for one leg and then the other. Taking out one leg will make them extremely slow and then the second leg will kill them.
If you're struggling to shoot a Hulk's head (or don't have the railgun massive firepower yet like me), you can shoot their legs and it'll basically make them powerless unless you're facing them. After that you can pretty easily go around them and shoot their back since they can't walk anymore. Just 2 or 3 well placed autocanon shots can do the trick before using 2 more on their back to finish them off.
Rocket devastators also die if you shoot out their legs. Uncommon situation to be only able to target the legs, but they are definitely an easier target than the head (and can be less dangerous to peek out at). It's only them though, legging the other devastators just cripple them.
For the stalkers, I feel you, man. However, I just found ONE strategy for them: always strike first, be on the lookout for them, and use an autocannon as soon as possible before they get close - with a lucky shot you can dispatch them in one, maybe two shells. Then try to have a scout destroy their nest ASAP. They can be insanely dangerous, but with very careful planning and awareness you can make them manageable. However, if diving solo... Oh boy, those are perhaps indeed the most challenging enemy when solo running. You'd be surprised however at how much they hate autocannons. Also for hulks, EATs one-shot them in the head, so they can be an absolute boon if you aim properly. When I discovered that the hard way, my mind was blown and I went from liking EATs to absolutely loving them. You may only get two of them every minute or so, but man are they good!
From my experience any small bot that is not currently shooting you can flare. I had patrols where 4 different bots tried to flare. You need awareness and high fire rate to be able to counter them, or a good cluster bomb to clear the whole pack.
Just a psa. The breacher light armor that can be purchased with super credits has even higher speed stats than the infiltrator armor allowing you to run away (with your pistol out) faster if a fight gets out of hand and you need to break los. It also comes with extra grenades which is handy for plugging bug holes
Pro tip! Put the rail gun on unsafe mode and charge it up for extra damage. I've been doing this for a week and haven't blown up yet. You have a solid 3 seconds to aim before you blow. 😊
For the AA tanks in my recent experience (yesterday) I found just shooting the turret with 4-5 very charged railgun shots does the trick as well. The same goes for the normal tank. This was on difficulty 8 tho.
My favorite thing about the Terminids is that they can still call for reinforcements after their head has been blown off. They die shortly after this but that's kind of ridiculous lol.
Love the little enemy unit graphics with descriptions you pulled up in the video. Some of the descriptions make me think our enemies are going to adapt to our attacks as the war drags on. Example the tank description essentially says its a crude copy of Super Earth's tank that is inferior. Which is probably referring to the huge exhaust port on the back of the turret, that us Helldivers are taking advantage of. Wars tend to result in new technologies being developed, so you would expect them to update their tank as time goes on. Maybe in a years time the exhaust port on the back of it will be 1/2 or even 1/4 the size? Maybe they get rid of it all together and we have to find a new way to destroy the tanks (Maybe have a little duct you can throw a grenade in if you get close)

the only issue i have with game is that i find myself using the same load out with almost every mission at higher levels... wish they would buff a few other weapons to be more viable on suicide mission and above.... a good head shot on a bile titan or charger on the sweet spot with railgun and in unsafe mode and its game over (this comment will be removed for treason)
They need to buff the underperforming weapons really badly no need to remove it, Most people feel like you can only use the breaker, p19 and railgun lol
found out the arcthrower strips back armor on charger and titan, but its super hit or miss, some times it strip the back armor in on hit and other times it doesnt ever. also if you dont aim dirrectly at the enemies it somehow chains better and does more damage
dude, I've never been able to kill the bile titans easily in a few shots. I've had bile titans that have tanked 1 orbital railcannon, 500kg bomb, 10 railgun shots to the head and an eagle airstrike
It takes quite a bit of practice but once you get use to them you can pretty consistantly deal with them. Maybe what your expereincing is the death rattle it makes them look like they are bugged out and kinda just despawn after sometimes
I discovered that you can take out chargers with a grenade launcher by bouncing the grenade at the ground in front of them so it bounces up into their soft belly. Took one out with 3 shots once.
Clay, I love your breakdowns and insight on the game! I would like to hear your thoughts on the Defender SMG and The Anti Material Sniper Rifle. I feel like the AM Sniper is a sleeper wpn, it really punches through and all though eventually you'll just want to use the Rail for the Awesome Armor Pierce, the Sniper has so much uses from mid - long range fights and seems to have much more shots imo. Wish that the no scope fire was a little better too. And also, the Defender is just pinpoint accurate and really a killer solid wpn imo. Anyways, hopefullly you get around to using it and letting us know some advanced tips on using some other load outs
the 1 shot bile titan is a bug for sure, for 100hrs played, with 90% of time being in helldive diff, there will be a match where all titan are just so weak that 2-3 railcannon shot to kill, or will be a match that all titan need 20 shot to kill, if the titan is weak, you can 1 shot it even shootting in the ass, 1 railcannon will kill it while the strong one dont
hey man been watching you for a while now love your solo vids on the creek super entertaining! im wondering if you could elaborate on killing bile titans with rail cannon? iswtg i shot 15 into a bile titan in the mouth while its charging and it doesnt kill it :/ (was using unsafe mode i swear at like 99% charge sometimes lmfao)
Not that this fits with this video format and its not something Ive tested enough to fully confirm. But on higher difficulties the large bug nests usually have 8-11 bug holes and recently ive been seeing some with only 4 but will have 1 or 2 Bile Titans standing in them. When we would kill them a new one would almost instantly spawn back at the nest until we fully cleared that area of all of it's bug holes. And our matches got significantly easier when in ateam set up I would run 120 Mike and 380 Mike immediately try to find the big bug nest and take it out as quick as possible. You can probably do this with a teammate and both of you can split the stratagems but this was very helpful in reducing the amount of enemies that showed up during bug breaches because they just keep spawning from those Bug holes. So be mindful of your location and have ways to efficiently clear objectives.
@Claysthetics To give you another instance. Me and a buddy were trying to take out a stalker nest, and it just so happened to be right next to a big bug nest. Let me tell you the level of fascism that crawled out of that area of the map was substantial. As soon as we started fighting the stalkers I could see on my map a massive horde of bugs start moving towards us from the big nest. We split up, and he took out the stalker nest, and I dropped both the 120 Mike and 380 Mike and walked away, and it probably saved our entire run smoking, both of them super quick. But it didn't come without 1 or 2 bug breaches, and we still spent some time trying to contain all of it. For at least five minutes, it felt like there was no safe place to run, and then we finally got to a point to make a push for the objectives, and we finally got the situation under control.
If the flare goes off, drop ship will always come. I killed one about to shoot flare and he fell over and shot the flare along the ground and Dropship came.
For anti-material chads: Everything: shoot them in the face Charger: let them charge your -minion- teammate, shoot them in the leg (the charger, not your teammate) Star wars walker: shoot them in the leg Tank: shoot them in the butt
You showed but didn't to mention the most efficient way I've found to kill Bile Titans. 500kg Bombs 1 shot Titans while Railcannons won't. Combined with a ship upgrade giving 2 charges on it & this is omega value.
Ahh yea I should have put a note on that clip for it good point thank you I'll make sure I do that in the future. 500kg is easily one of the coolest strats int he game
I Keep trying to headshot the Bile Titans on the move, which is a mistake. But at the same time I'm kinda chicken because I know if I miss my shot with the Railgun, I'm dead. I really hope that Arrowhead adds a bestiary at some point. It would be nice to see enemy info in-game, rather than having to look at wikis.
On the topic of bots coming in: if there's an observation tower on the map and you're in range of it it will call in drops to your location. Also patrols and outposts seem to automatically re-route to you if you're spotted.

I'm new to this channel so I don't know if this is a inside joke I'm not aware of. @0:01 - Was that "Lady and Gentlemen"? Do you only have like one girl viewer or something? I thought it was funny but I don't have the context to go with it.
How to locate and deal with when you're radioed that you're in range of enemy artillery? I just keep running but not sure what I'm looking for to knock it out
F them flares. Alot of the times it is instant. Even killed a guy as he rose his hand and it went off horizontaly. Thinking to myself your fing kidding me right. The fact that any 15 of those foot soldiers can fire one off..... even seen flares going off on the other side of the map we were nowhere even close to anymore.

You can swap camera shoulder with mouse 4, so you can have more choice in what side you need cover on.
I have to set the video speed to 0.75 for my brain to keep up with all the great things you say.
Thank you, I usually workout before I record a video to get amped up so the pre workout really hits sometimes
NEW CLAY VIDEO LET'S GOOO
YESSIR WE IN IT
Best helldivers content creator, W
Thanks for the info man, helpful stuff
dude, I've never been able to kill the bile titans easily in a few shots.
W tip
Put in 0.75x and you gonna see a normal man speaking.
Lol
the 1 shot bile titan is a bug for sure, for 100hrs played, with 90% of time being in helldive diff, there will be a match where all titan are just so weak that 2-3 railcannon shot to kill, or will be a match that all titan need 20 shot to kill, if the titan is weak, you can 1 shot it even shootting in the ass, 1 railcannon will kill it while the strong one dont
Stirling work.
GORY GORY WHATA HELLUVA WAY TO DIE!
hey man been watching you for a while now love your solo vids on the creek super entertaining!
im wondering if you could elaborate on killing bile titans with rail cannon? iswtg i shot 15 into a bile titan in the mouth while its charging and it doesnt kill it :/ (was using unsafe mode i swear at like 99% charge sometimes lmfao)
That's interesting and something ill note to try and mess around with next stream. Thank you!
Hey has anyone noticed or heard anything about the scout armor being neerfed or anything? It doesn’t show POI’s anymore when hovering open the map
Yeah run away, straight into another group, now you are fighting even more, run away again, straight into a 3rd group. Now you are truly screwed.
You have to shoot the Bile Titan in the mouth when its charging its breath attack to get the one-shot on the railgun.
If the flare goes off, drop ship will always come. I killed one about to shoot flare and he fell over and shot the flare along the ground and Dropship came.
For anti-material chads:
Everything: shoot them in the face
Charger: let them charge your -minion- teammate, shoot them in the leg (the charger, not your teammate)
Star wars walker: shoot them in the leg
Tank: shoot them in the butt
My top tip is "Every fight you don't engage in, is one you walk away from"
If you ever run into a big group of the walkers 1 impact gernade will deal with them instantly. They are incredibly weak to all gerbades
Great vid clay
Thank you sir
Awesome Guide thx man but I want to ask were did you get those images of the units with that short description of them, they look really neat?
On the topic of bots coming in: if there's an observation tower on the map and you're in range of it it will call in drops to your location. Also patrols and outposts seem to automatically re-route to you if you're spotted.
random question but where did you find those info cards shown at 1:50? I've been looking around for a beastiary type thing for a while now but can't find anything good since the game is so new I'm assuming
From the playstation website with helldivers www.playstation.com/en-us/games/helldivers-2/#enemy-types
ahh beautiful, thank you and loving the videos :)
I'm new to this channel so I don't know if this is a inside joke I'm not aware of. @0:01 - Was that "Lady and Gentlemen"? Do you only have like one girl viewer or something? I thought it was funny but I don't have the context to go with it.
There was a point where I had .001% female viewers on lost ark so we just kinda ran with the meme
@@Claysthetics I figured it was something like that. Hilarious.
Here for the glasses
Thanks King!
3:42 I can relate that...the Rocket Devastator are literally snipers...
You can still 1 shot hulks by shooting the pilot with the railgun on safe mode. Im level 32 now and didnt even know there was an unsafe mode 😅
Incredible
W vid
No you
How do you locate the Radio tower on each map early. So many time i cant find it or find it super late
0.75 was needed but thanks for the info 😅
Just so you know, there is a way to change the camera angle and peak over your opposite shoulder.
Great video! I appreciate our coverage on all this.
Also, how is armor bugged?
Armor rating does nothing. Light armor will tank as many hits as heavy armor. Stamina and stamina recharge still work.
So currently, armor perks and stam are the deciding factor on best armor. Although drip is forever, of course.
Someone else covered this reply already but that plus they know about it and are working to fix it atm
Thank you for helping out I really appreciate it! and you are right drip is forever and the most important thing
nice content!
and how are we supposed to deal with you, now, after you got all this experience?
Minefields of course
Spears... with that huge ego we can lock onto it while in a different map.
Rail gun can be inconsistent with the titans
This is true alot of sway and charge variations
Honestly for bots it think the am rifle is kinda slept on its got great ammo economy can kill the whole roster with good aim and positioning
Indeeed I use it quite a bit and have a fun build for it coming out pretty soon becuase I think it's such a fun weapon
Anyone else’s dropship when they get destroyed just despawn then come flying across the map (it seems like a pc only glitch for me)
How to locate and deal with when you're radioed that you're in range of enemy artillery? I just keep running but not sure what I'm looking for to knock it out
I am trying to work my way up to level 20 so i can get the railgun
Once you get it it changes the game
F them flares. Alot of the times it is instant. Even killed a guy as he rose his hand and it went off horizontaly. Thinking to myself your fing kidding me right. The fact that any 15 of those foot soldiers can fire one off..... even seen flares going off on the other side of the map we were nowhere even close to anymore.
