That is a great looking guitar. I love the front being a different color than the back

      I think so to.
I'm going to use it for a while and do a review on it.

Mega useful, I learnt so much about guitar setup over a friendly chat. Please leave this video up like this, I‘ll use it as a resource for many years ahead

    UPDATE!
I mentioned the issue to Harley Benton and they were gracious enough to give me a partial refund👍

The latest Benton I've bought is absolutely flawless...a cst 24...even the book matching...I paid 170 euro for a b stock... I'm aghast at the finish and fit...my fenders etc.. now feel like agricultural implements...I have 2 Benton's now....I believe the ones from Indonesia are the best.. gonna sell one of my oldies and buy 4 of these..my snobbery is over...😅

I was bummed out it had a few little issues.....BUT., just because I was cheering it on in my mind, I couldn't not report exactly what I found.
I am close to doing a review of it. I do like it allot. I think it 'snuck threw' and the company did give me 10% $ back. I don't know how it wasn't a '2nd'. One thing, it stays in tune far better during trem use if you DONT put the strings under the string trees.

Do what I do. When I buy I have $200 set aside to fix any issues even for a brand name that you would expect nothing worse than a setup. Better still buy used. Preferably 10 years old or older. If the fit and finish are reasonably good the wood will likely not get worse so it is worth investing in. Most of my 12 guitars are between 10 to 20 years old.

I'm at 196 guitars so far. I do my own setup as I'm a guitar setup tech.
The funniest thing people do is buy expensive pickups, That is a super huge waste of money. You have to have a really crappy guitar to actually need pickups.

Mate had a Harley Benton prince copy tele the best the action could be was 1.75mm to 2.25 as the fretwork was so crap. It needed a full level and recrown but i just didn't have the time to do it and he couldn't afford to at least buy me a few meals let alone the proper cost of a fret level crown and polish

It's funny this is only the 2nd HB I've touched. The first Was for a customer. He couldn't afford my Deluxe setup so I didn't touch the frets. It was 0.7mm at the 12th without fretting out! (.030") I couldn't believe it. I raised it for a safety margin. That would never happen on a Squier, player, vintera and some fender USA guitars.

That trem arm is a combined push in and screw down type!!!! Turn it it to your desired height and the tighten the set screw. I see this overlooked again and again!!! Sorry , it gets to me.😠

I heard it was a 'screw in' but didn't look close enough. I'm most perplexed the saddles are down all the way, the trem is down all the way, and the action is very low.....but could it go lower? I think so. But not without a neck shim. Or sanding the bottom of the saddles, or deepening the string grooves.
