I actually like the idea of a unicorn blind. If we decide to really splurge on a bottle, it’s nice to know what we should lean towards to maximize our bar priced bottle purchase 😂
I agree. Just because I probably will never have a bottle doesn't mean I don't like to learn about them. And you might have a chance to try one in a bar.
Shout out to Weller 107, my favorite sipper. It almost brought a tear to my eye it was like seeing one of my kids coming in first place. The editing on this video was fantastic I love the part where Kurt said I'll be back in a minute, it was brilliant😂😂😂
Love the blinds, great series. Trenton, I think you handicap yourself by always trying to guess the bottles. By doing that you bring in all of your preconceived notions about each bottle, and which one you think should win. I like Kirk’s approach, just judge by the flavors you experience in the moment.
I picked up a ECBP C923, Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel, and a Buffalo Trace today. I live in NC with state run ABC stores, so this was a great haul for this area.
Trenton--Won't eat pie, will eat random, mushy tree fruit of unknown and potentially poisonous origin. Side note: Dr. Pepper Strawberry Cream is like candy. Highly recommend!
I won an Antique 107 at a raffle (about 30 bottles of every EH Taylor offering, 5 bottles of every Weller offering, a couple Blantons straight from the barrel, regular Blanton’s, Elmer T Lee) The buy-in was $20 for a gallon of Fireball lol, so I was like what the heck, let’s buy one. I quickly realized there were about 60 people, many of whom had 10-15 tickets per person, never thought I’d win. But alas, I waited an hour to hear my name drawn for a single barrel select of Antique 107, price was $90 plus the $20 buy-in. 😂😂 the feeling of winning on a single ticket and also enjoying this 107 slowly is pretty wonderful to say the least 🙃
Found you guys about two months ago when my husband and I really got into bourbon. Taken your guys advice on quite a few bottles now. We were born and raised in Michigan City now Military stationed in Japan so been lucky to grab some of those Japan only releases!
Yes! Finally Bourbon, Whiskey, Armagnac, Cognac season has arrived! I'm not much of a drinker and 1 bottle of anything can last 1 year in my home. I prefer Gin and Tonic in the summer. But I've been watching you guys and made my first Bourbon purchase in May and have been waiting for 50°-60° weather to arrive. Thanks for being such great guides 👍
Great great series guys. Super fun and interesting. One of the best I've seen. Have Always looked forward to them. Thanks a bunch for posting. Hope there's another coming soon.
KURT!!! This was AWESOME!!! You see, THIS is how cocktails are created!!! At 15:20, my bird brain started to go into overdrive!!! I have a bottle of Wellers that need my attention!!! CHEERS family!!!
I have never tried the 107 but am sitting on a bottle for a special day, I love cherry vanilla coke and yall saying that makes me even more excited to try it.
i think im a little more traditional in my palette when it comes to bourbon.. typically really enjoy the nuttier, full bodied bourbon over the fruity more "complex" flavors.. and i LOVE eh taylor small batch.. quite a bit more than weller 107. eht barrel proof is one of my all time favorite pours. batch 12 is next level awesome.
Weller Antique 107 is often available in Ohio with the allocated bottles. I bought one a couple of years ago and thought it was just okay. I will have to pick one up next time I see it to give it a second chance.
Glad to see Weller antique regarded so highly by you guys. The restaurant I work for bought a barrel so they're only charging $10 a pour. It's been on my radar since we got the bottles in so I'm going to have to try it on my next shift. Also, I'm really glad I found you guys because I feel like mine and Kurt's pallets are extremely similar. It's making it easier for me to transfer from scotch into the world of bourbon.
@SLB Drinks - a Unicorn blind would be exciting to watch. I know what you mean about most people cannot get those bottles, but trust me, it is exactly the type of content people would enjoy. It is fun to get to see all the unicorns, especially together in a blind. Its fun to watch other people enjoy and describe them. It is the closest most will ever get to experiencing it ourself.
Enjoy all the videos you guys have been making, and keeping it real! Would be very interested to see what you think of the Binny’s Clark and Sheffield line
I finally got a bottle of weller 107 after years of literally never even seeing on a shelf i just paid secondary and had it shipped ($130). It was the first "hype" bottle that I thought lived up to the hype amazing pour I already ordered a second bottle hope to always have one on hand. It's on the short list of "if I could only have one bottle..." contenders
Great video...hope to one day procure a bottle or two in your line-up...but only after my palate evolves enough to appreciate them. Trenton...be more careful of you eat...some of these things will actually kill you! Truly envious of the bond you two have...keep it up!!!
The antique Is the best of available Weller, I have but haven't cracked the C923 yet, I've heard great things though. Never saw that Makers unfortunately. Taylor is so different than most of the others it doesn't surprise me, a little more rye forward!
I just got myself a Weller 107 and I I think it’s just decent. That was the neck pour though, so I’m refraining judgement on it until I try it when it’s opened up.
A few months ago I finally got to buy a couple bottles of Weller SR and I was quite disappointed. Then a friend got ahold of a 107 and that thing was great. It is really a very good pour of whiskey.
Weller 107 is my all time favorite. I have two unopened bottles that I am afraid to open because it is my favorite and I don't want to be without because I can't replace it.
Kurt, I found something a bit interesting in taste. Being a Virginia Resident, I normally like to sample VA made bourbons. I recently ran across a bottle of "Reservoir" bourbon, of course, Made in Virginia product. If you see a bottle in your area, Pick it up and give you thoughts on this. It is surely a taste like I have never tasted before. But its certainly not bad. And Glad to see the Elijah Craig BP on your blind, Those BP's have been some great tasting pours this year. I also have a dog named Cooper, Havanese, Just over a year old, He is a bundle of joy.
This was interesting and your right tomorrow you’d have a different line up. As far as a unicorn blind not really interested in that it’s great you can get them but they are bottles I’ll never pick up even if I see them unless msrp which since I’m not a camper that wouldn’t happen. Enjoy!!
Lol you guys are hillarious. Great drink though👍. Your order is very close to what I would (and probably most) have done. The only thing that lightly surprised me was that Weller wasn’t 2nd place and ECBP wasn’t first place. But not a huge surprise, Weller is dang tasty. Makers always tastes medicinal to me, like cherry cough syrup.
Thats what I thought until I tried a pour of Weller 12 at a bar. Unfortunately, getting my own bottle has proved damn near impossible unless I skip paying my mortgage for a month.
I was really hoping EC BP C923 would take the win, only because i have 4 bottles in my possession and i doubt ill find a weller 107 any time soon lol. Great show as always gentlemen! Great line up.
@@kayleighherr4775 Because its a buy it and back it up type of bourbon. Il possibly make some trades too. Not hoarding, just consider it leverage. Cheers!
Would be nice on these to see what you think they should sell for should one be able to find them. I’ve seen one bottle of this particular Weller. It was $300 IIRC. I did find a the E. H. Taylor SB for $89
What the heck, I'm retired and it's 5:00 somewhere. I happen to have my bottle of C923 right here on the table and a empty Glen. I'll have one with you. Cheers!
I actually like the idea of a unicorn blind. If we decide to really splurge on a bottle, it’s nice to know what we should lean towards to maximize our bar priced bottle purchase 😂
Yeah, but they'll probably pick the wheater so just buy the one you can find. That's probably a Maker's product at this point.
I agree. Just because I probably will never have a bottle doesn't mean I don't like to learn about them. And you might have a chance to try one in a bar.
I'm sure Kurt's Kentucky Owl Dry State would win there... or ruin the entire flight.
I was thinking the same thing.
100% a unicorn blind would be great, even if I can't get it I like to know the one I should try if available!
Shout out to Weller 107, my favorite sipper. It almost brought a tear to my eye it was like seeing one of my kids coming in first place. The editing on this video was fantastic I love the part where Kurt said I'll be back in a minute, it was brilliant😂😂😂
Do you really prefer 107 to Full Proof though? I am surprised 107 got on the list instead of Full Proof.
This has been an amazing series. Thanks for putting it all together.
I love Weller 107, only bottle I’ve ever paid way over MSRP for. Did just pick up ECBP C923 in
Kentucky for $79, that is at least findable
107 is so good. I hate how hard it is to find. But it always does so well in blinds for me.
Love the recent editing you guys have been doing. Really kicks it up a notch and gives me a laugh.

Thanks for the videos. I love to watch you guys.
Would love to watch a unicorn blind. Y’all always make my morning, always watch with a cup of coffee!
I hyped up EH Taylor so much, it was going to be my personal favorite… found one at retail and it just taste like apple and ethanol to me😂
I assure you, it doesn't taste like that to me. Weirdly, it was bubble gum and caramel with a hint of cinnamon on the finish. It was wonderful.
The edits on the last couple videos have been hilarious. Good work, gents.
It would be interesting to do the same lineup, but also add in like the top 3-6 unicorns. See how they stack up.
I have never tried the 107 but am sitting on a bottle for a special day, I love cherry vanilla coke and yall saying that makes me even more excited to try it.
Most of us who will never be able to get a unicorn still want to see it.... We live vicariously through you two.... Enjoy your reactions immensely!

Man I’m loving these blinds! Keep going, don’t stop! 😂
Please consider doingo a series based on proof ranges rather than price. 80-90; 90-101, 102-110, 110-120, 130 and over. Keep up the good work.
I bought an Antique 107 on my last Kentucky trip (paid too much, of course). Now I'm really looking forward to trying it.

We have really enjoyed this series ❤
Really enjoyed this video series guys
weller 107 is amazing.
Great vid. I’m looking forward to the live stream! Thanks for sharing.
Howdy again! Yeah! One of old time faves is that 107! Surprised at the EHT being 5th…also agree that Blue Note is a comer!
Yep! Weller 107 is my absolutely favorite bourbon! And now y’all know why. Love Blue Note by the way. Great product! An other great video.
Is this legit?
I had a pour of EHT small batch along with one from Michters SB. I liked the Michters more.

I’m 25 and those caramel cream chews are one of my favorite candies, can’t go wrong

I always want to know the 5 in the top ten that didn't make the final 5.
I'd enjoy seeing you do blinds for all the SLB barrel picks, also ryes, and of course, Trenton's begging to do Scotch blinds. 😉
I’ve been sitting on a bottle of Wellers Antique, excited to open it after watching this video!
Great lineup! Interesting outcome.
To be a little mouse in Trenton's head. I'd be scared and wandering down the dark tunnels. To then find a puppy so happy in a field. oh my

I tasted Weller Antique 107 a few times and love it. I scored a bottle in Ohio in April for $49.99.

The spooky music was awesome.
Really looking forward to the store brand video!

I bought a store pick of the Blue Note Juke Joint uncut /unfiltered 119.5 proof for $41.99 in Grand Junction Colorado.... It's so good!
Great video
My top two are OWA and the C923 as well. Have 3 of the C923 and plan on getting more. So so good
You need to do a unicorn blind
I just got myself a Weller 107 and I I think it’s just decent. That was the neck pour though, so I’m refraining judgement on it until I try it when it’s opened up.
IMHO Weller Full Proof is a MUCH better pour.
Love this channel 😊
A few months ago I finally got to buy a couple bottles of Weller SR and I was quite disappointed. Then a friend got ahold of a 107 and that thing was great. It is really a very good pour of whiskey.
Yeah, I was really disappointed with SR too. I don't understand the hype behind it.
The Deal or No Deal OR Final Answer bit for Kurt was great.
If Leonard Hofstadter (from the Big Bang Theory) went to the gym a few times and drank bourbon.... that's Trenton.
Great job today. Look forward to seeing the stream tonight..😊
Weller 107 is my all time favorite. I have two unopened bottles that I am afraid to open because it is my favorite and I don't want to be without because I can't replace it.
Do you reallly like it better than Weller Fulll Proof though? That's a much better pour, IMHO.
24:11 had me rolling. Not sure how many times I rewatched it.
Great blind. I love OWA as well. Can’t wait for tonight
I like sipping on eagle rare and eating chocolate covered 🍒 at Christmas time try its good together it will surprise you.😊
Antique is in my top 5. Maybe it’s not a unicorn where you live but in Texas, it hasn’t been seen on a shelf in 5 years.
I am crying at the intense zoom on Kurt that made my day boys see ya tonight
9:49 I was waiting for the rest of that description… 😂
Cooper needs to be on the live show tonight!
Trenton that strawberries and cream Dr. Pepper is awesome you will not be disappointed!
Before anyone comments "too bad I'll never find these"... no one cares, its a great video about good bourbons
Right?! FOMO boys get mad

Great stuff. EH Taylor Small batch had no business in this blind, but still awesome.
I picked up a c923 the other day and a toasted barrel. Love Elijah Craig 🥃
Good show 🥃 Cheers
The reaction at 4:16 had me quite literally laugh out loud 😂😂

Nice series! I think your wife should double blind these in a week or two and see how they line up.
Interesting results.
What a battle blind. Great video. And like said too bad 107 won cause here in Iowa my self have hunted for 107 and have yet to find one. Cheers 🥃
Good luck on Weller 107 in Texas.... May the odds be in your favor
Love it, 107 coming out on top!!!!!!
The music at 24:25 ... genius. 😂
For some reason this channel is so much better when you all disagree some.
Weller 107 is one of my fav BT products 😋🥃
Thats what I thought until I tried a pour of Weller 12 at a bar. Unfortunately, getting my own bottle has proved damn near impossible unless I skip paying my mortgage for a month.
OWA is my favorite pour!!!
I was really hoping EC BP C923 would take the win, only because i have 4 bottles in my possession and i doubt ill find a weller 107 any time soon lol. Great show as always gentlemen! Great line up.
Im in Ohio and would gladly trade an Antique 107 for a C923. Amazing how different distribution can be.
Why 4 bottles? Seems like hoarding.
@@dannyfannyfoodleI'm in michigan and would do the same

ECBP all the way! Great show! Cheers!
Was STAGG in the top ten? I would have thought that would be one in the mix. I can see it on your top shelf.
Sound effects at 24:15 🤣 hilarious
Love the blinds y'all are awesome
Dang I really want to get my hands on EC C923 but those seem to be hard to find out where I live.
Today was a lucky day. My ticket was called in a raffle of 10 bottles and I ended up with a Weller Antique 107 store pick. I’m still on a high.
Brewzle would be so happy. He loves the 107.
What the heck, I'm retired and it's 5:00 somewhere. I happen to have my bottle of C923 right here on the table and a empty Glen. I'll have one with you. Cheers!
2ND?!?========> Silver is a good metal!!!
Wild apple trees have fruit that look like cherries. The sandwich is called a fluffanutter.
A unicorn double blind of three ~$50 and 3 unicorns would be fun.
I've been watching y'all for a while and this is my favorite one yet. But look how far you are down on that Antique. You think that played a factor?
