Love the early investment vids. I am one of the peopel who blast through the atlas completion by day 2 and then forget about the prime first days of investing
Thanks for all the content GOAT
Thx for the tips, hope the rest of your day gets less noisy overthere.
So appreciative of all your info man. Thanks for sharing with community!
8:42 I'm literally crying holy fuck. Probably the funniest timing for that construction to get louder, immediately right after you mentioned it being loud LOL
This was an awesome video! It is really important for new people who struggle to make currency, this gives not only the ability to copy trade, but also to understand how the market works, and the latter is much more important ;] I have my own method but It is really nice to listen and learn from others
Thanks pal! Good luck with whatever tech / strat you’re running
Personally very interested in the Early League "investments" you mentioned - love to see a longer discussion of those in a video
Check video description - I made a very detailed one that is linked ther e
Bless ya, man - missed that one
You could talk about making money in poe at different investment levels, i could listen to you talk about it for hours and hours ngl. Im definitely gonna try the flask and cluster jewel stuff. Id love more videos about profit crafting at the low investment levels, 10c - 5 div kinda thing. Either way im subbed now, just discovered your channel from the TFT video, very insightful and well put together, easy to digest content as a whole.
Sweet overview man, much appreciated
Amazing video, really need to up my currency game and will definitely be waiting for more tips!
I bought my first headhunter because of your Poeconomics video a looong time ago.
From peasant to noble
The Jordan belfort of PoE!
*Beats chest*
The MOMENT you said enkindeling orb, one dropped for me, I shit you not, the timing could not be any more perfect
No no don't apologize about the length, tons of good info here
Did I see you were running CRE? I always struggle to get that first 100c to really even get going much less get geared enough for maps to where they don't take forever. Granted I play some weird hybrid of self-imposed self-found and trade for only rare things or to convert what I farmed into another crafting mat. So basically I don't buy gear unless it is super hard to find unique or something like that.
Been buying items to keep up with inflation, gamble are some short term profit and also long term.
Anxious about my choices, heist currencies, since it's been a week and they've stable stayed low and past data can only take me so far. On other news, I now know what to do next league(memories)
You know, you don't look bad with a shaved head.
Thank you for the great tips :)
You’re welcome!
hey Belton does the breach memory quantity scales with map level ? btw always love ur content
🎉😢 i was so looking forward to a flask crafting guide for early league pre mage bloods I saw flask in inventory i'm about to watch my league starts in 2 days 10 hours on console
Belton do you think essences would be good?
great video
I've always tried to do flasks, before I used to craft them, but they never sell even like perfect rolls and I'm the cheapest. It seems to always be a fight of people undercutting constantly until they aren't worth anything anymore...
Edit: crafting gold flasks is easy money this league though!
cant confirm that at all.
It’ll be a slower roll out at this stage naturally as not many people have magebloods - but it’s much better to get ahead of the demand than to be behind it. If you’re referring to later stages in past leagues I have no idea why that would be the case as myself and thousands of others can attest otherwise - I have a detailed video on flask crafting you can watch for specifics
@@BeltonPoE Yea I watched it and this is where I got the knowledge from
Same. Crafting flasks is just not so profitable anymore as many got hold of the strategy and the market is flooded with them. Unless there’s abundance of Pathfinders with mageblood, this is not a good strategy. Cluster jewels can be pretty profitable but it’s gambling.
I bricked Sandstorm Visage sanctums twice to crashes this past weekend and got so frustrated that I sold of all my gear and stashes and invested into clusters, liquid appreciable currencies, etc. Waiting on it all to gain value as I take a break from the game and study for finals. Your videos especially help me out due to how busy I can get between work and uni, so many thanks.
God bless brother! Tough go on the dc’s but I’m sure your items will do well and reinvigorate you when you return. GL on the exams!
Didnt check the prices as I can't really play much now, but I would suppose Gold flask (effect+rarity craft) is wildly profitable given all the hassle around mf
Can beast memory be profitable at 450c per ( solo)? I didn't understand that beast memory part and never done it myself :/ I'm in essence jail atm and would love some variety
sad to see some of the items i sold early coming up as 5 divs in your video, i had one of those bow clusters and they were just 1 div at the time
Finished 😊 was an awesome watch. I want to learn about charm investment as my league hasnt started and its my first true league start so I want to try investing
Would essence rush strat also be viable league start at all? Or just do heist instead day 1 -2
Flasks used to be good. Then people went insane on crafting them and now theres just too many. That and people think they can craft them and dont buy them. The only ones that sell are the giga good ones and theyre too rare to make it worth it.
I’ve made 3 divines from selling 3 of the 9 flasks I spent 140chaos making in this video within 8 hours, so I would have to disagree
PSA i did about 20 kirac's memory of survivor's guilt after this video but i didn't get a single fracturing shard... the currency per hour was pretty meh, managed to get about 1-2 ancient orbs every memory but that was about it. Other than that great video tho
Every one of those memories scales off ANY additional source of items (deli orbs; iiq , pack size, group iiq , player gear mf iiq; map layout, mob type, destroyable objects, chests etc) because of this it’s going to vary widely person to person. Loot filter strictness also matters a lot, as things like horizon shards are often hidden - however, orbs of horizon are 2:1 at that stage and you can pick up 10-15 entire orbs via shards each map - that alone can 2x the entire memory cost on a single map. Idk what your setup was given the above variabilities and allowances though, it was likely a combination of factors.
If you’re unfamiliar with that memory specifically, I wouldn’t recommend it (unless fine with a learning Curve at first) as it , of all the methods I mentioned, requires the most prep and nuance to be able to fully take advantage of.
Should i go for low tier map for Harbinger / Breach memory?
@Belton, btw this league RF took a dump, there's only 1% of people playing RF on poe ninja, compared to 6% last league at 4 days.
Oh yeah I don’t care for RF or craft for it- just an off the cuff reference for use case from a historical lens. 1% is still thousands of people regardless - and those ppl will still need em, additionally the sale side will be less competitive for the reasons you mentioned
Comment for algorythm
Legend
The only problem I see in this video is the way information is presented. It's as if you're talking to other very experienced cur makers, not some casual folks struggling with cur.
i know its like construction sounds, but it really sounded like u were ripping fat ones on a wooden chair throughout the video XD
Man I wish I would have seen this earlier
lmfao the noises, got me dead
Great content as always Belton , sadly we can't ever use your strategies in game. Everytime a video like this comes out, the prices go significantly high to a point where you could barely break even on best case scenarios. For instance the level 50-67 base clusters were 100 chaos yesterday, serrated fossils are 7-8c per if u wanna buy them in bulk since you said it takes 54 tries on average to hit all 3 mods. 2c per resonator in bulk. so doing the math , that is 700c+216c+108c = 1024c ( divided by 160c = 6.4 divines per try on average ), the 3 mod clusters are listed for 4 divines on the market right now. so We are loosing money from it. Memories are another example , you mentioned the price of harbinger memories are 8c but now they are 1 div. but the price of fracturing shards are 65c-70c right now. so we barely break even there if we consistently drop at least 2 fracturing shards per memory. These strategies are great and I am sure it works for you before you reveal them to the public but sadly once they are out, they are not profitable anymore. So honestly no point in watching these videos. I've been trying your strategies for some leagues now. that is sadly always the case. The only way it can work for us is that if you give us the strategies in private and not make them public :). Great content as always anyways.
Yes, of course you wont be profitable if you go and try right after the video, duh. But im surprised youve had no success with these methods over the course of multiple leagues, thats very weird, becasue if you try any of the methods from Beltons previous videos, then you will surely find success. Also the main point of these videos isnt for you to go and do the exact same thing, but learn the principle why the method works, so no need to "make strategies private", if someone cant find success using public strategies then no ammount of "private info" will help them.
so sad probably why i never make money in this game
@@haloturk1alch and go harvest. Easy, fast and simple. You won’t make giant returns but you will make money. Build up to solid dps and solid defenses and farm city square harbingers. Big crafters always always need a surplus of fracturing orbs. No matter how many people farming harbingers…frac orbs hold their value very well. It’s easy, it’s fast and it’s easy to sell.
Don’t copy what he does but look at how he does it. Check the prices and rewards of all memories not just harbinger memories and you’ll find a market. You can also look at other clusters. So copy the method but not the exact strategy.
loot filter pls
I have said this a lot, but relying on trade to make money just isn't a fun thing for me. To me, it shows a lot of the fundamental flaws with GGG's Skill system, Itemization and Drop Rates. As more and more players leave a league, then more and more builds stop having the necessary items feasibly available to make them work. I am glad that people enjoy the economy though.
SSF exists?
Players leaving the league is literally just an effect on the very top of the range. Unless you're looking for the 0.1% mirror tier items I don't think players leaving actually effects any availability on any build that costs less than 100 div to put together. There's just not enough rare / niche items that I can see any build not having item availability.
thats the fun part about it though? If you want easy and accessible, maybe D4 would be right up your alley
This sounds like a play a different game problem, I think the trade economy is one of the primary reasons to play Poe over a lot of other games tbh so if you hate that and don't wanna ssf idk how you could play this game 😅
Lol, have you watched empyrian?
I swear streamers playing 24/7 are so out of touch. He tells you about crafting cluster jewels with a fracturing orb - one of the most expensive currencies in PoE or using fossils which are also very expensive at league start and are hard to come by.
From all the videos I watched there’s one thing that I learned: unless you no-life for the first week of the league, there’s no way to earn good money - even better if rather than mapping you play do PoE economics instead of killings mobs. If you have a demanding job or can’t play each day every day on first days of the league, unless you get lucky with drops or abuse MF (running a build that 99,99% of casuals do), well tough luck. The only thing that is left are the simple yet way slower strats to make good money consistently after that is to either farm/roll constantly things people will always need like Harvest juice, essences or sextants OR to be fast to undercut the market.
There’s also a saying in PoE community, the less you actually play the game the more you earn being a hideout warrior crafting and rolling stuff (and I can attest to that, I made more sitting in my hideout than actually playing)
Every other strategy anyone will post about, people will catch on fast and create an abundance of the items sold and items needed for the farming strategy expensive, see memories who got expensive like a hour after this streamer posted that video.
The best strategies people usually don’t about and keep to themselves to not overflow the market and make people steal from you. This dude here also profits from selling these strategies as people will also buy from him. People who watch here and don’t earn the same results don’t be discouraged: most streamers use PoE as a job, not a game to have fun with. We min-maxed the fun out of it long time ago, now it’s only about earning div/h and following copycat builds.
Nice essay bro.
I made 600 divines this league just by investing in tempering orbs early on and made a bunch more from league starting penance brand of dissipation, because it was old penance brand with a new name and number changes.
Keep thinking one video will tell you exactly what to do
