    A wise man, so happy I had the privilege of meeting him on more than one occasion. RIP sensei! You're forever a part of my life.

    Although I’m not a Karate practitioner and don’t know much about it,as a long time Hakka Kung Fu practitioner I can see the absolute merit of this set and the Masters movement is truly sublime🙏🏻

    Its interesting how much this kata differs from style to style and how different it is to the version I learned, the Chinese origin really stands out here, very cool

    This kata is common to all Okinawan karate styles. Each style has made minor modifications.

      follows the origins quite firmly. Old school, not nowadays uechy rye. Believe in old days most technics were with open hands and ippon ken, empy or teisho uke/uchi. A

    impressive, he is rather average tall guy, but quite powerful technics, focused. Can be, could have been powerful and effective. firm 4, maybe -5. great respect for the man.
    From one who.s been in Kempo (Okinawa style) for 34/35y.

      Karakta obviously you have limited knowledge of the bunkai associated with this kata. Uechi ryu is a combat style making it very effective in a real fight.

      Karakta those katas are made to condition ur body such as feet and etc and ofcourse ur techniques.. and actually those works in real life coz people just throw punches or just grab u ,unlike in matches were fighters are very cautious.. So goodluck with ur limited knowledege

    • @rafacabralp
      @rafacabralp 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Karakta karate is the evolution of ur spirit, not the combat. U know nothing

    • @sixtysevenhannibal9766
      @sixtysevenhannibal9766 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@rafacabralp lol karate is actually for physical well-being and for combat specifically to destroy your opponent in one hit, japanese just wants to make it more fancy and harmless so that people will accept it so they talked about spirituality which is just a cover up..Karate is a combat system and "Karate is all about finishing your enemy in one hit" no other thing

      Gushi sensei is a legend in the Uechi rye world. If you think think that, you have never seen the best. Your comment reflects your ignorance.

      Well, if your seisan is better than this guy's, you really, really need to post a video of your performance! I can't wait!
