That looked lovely apart from the mosquitos. Thumps is so adorable. I definitely think a week there would be perfect for me, sunbed, book, beverages and I'm sorted, just need a carer to look after my disabled daughter for a week oh and get social services to pay for said carer, lol. In my dreams but one day you never know. I really do love yours and Tims vlogs as being stuck at home a lot it lets me escape in my head at least, xx
Aww it must be so hard in your situation it kinda grounds you . If your daughter came with you would it be non stop for you? Glad we can help in a way by giving you these vlogs.. they kind of put you in the moment x
@@GabyStarbuckx She's pretty much bed bound now and hasn't left the house since the start of Covid so no chance of coming with me. I do get some care everyday so I can get out for a few hours but atm that time is visiting my dad who is end of life. I now have my mum addicted to your vlogs as well so thank you to you both for keeping us entertained and able to escape for a bit. xx

Just came across this and laughed as I realised that you were in the same hotel that we were in September! We had one of the bungalows and you're right, it was lovely just lying there! Found the entertainment and food to be questionable, but we used the buffet on half board. Loved Mahon though. Great memories brought on by your blog, so thank you!

Looks like you had a lovely time. Gaby buy Avon Skin so soft the natural spray seriously the mosquitoes will gone no where near you it’s fantastic add it onto your holiday list. I even use it in this country it’s cheap too. Get yourself some. Great vlog. Red suits you.

Lovely went there in September for the first time beautiful island...Also Tui fly from Norwich so thumbs up as live in lowestoft and you being a local girl it's great for you and Tim to try Norwich

Another good and interesting vlog to watch, really enjoyed and look forward to seeing more in future. Have visited Menorca, not very much to do on the island, wish there was, water parks are not really big and could do in my opinion with more investment to maybe build bigger and better water slides as found on those while on holiday there, not really worth visiting and experiencing. Think that is something in my opinion if they improved on they would with investment being able to attract an audience of tourists to travel and experience their water parks. Menorca yes, 100% is ideal for relax, but needs more things to do for all I think. When we visited, we visited ruins, I think we visit Mahon? Cannot remember, visited airport sometimes? Planespotting? Drove around aswell, but didn't really visit much other attractions. Stayed other than that on resort which was Son Bou, which is on the island branded as best resort to stay in according to Thomson a.k.a now TUI. Son Bou Gardens. Somewhere would love to return to one day? Was nice, but nice vlog, have liked and shared & yeah look forward to seeing more in future. Cheers. 😀👍
Citronella candles help repel mosquitos maybe you could try that next time and see if it helps. We use them in the garden against annoying insects.

We stayed in Salgar in an apartment which belonged to some friends of my parents in law. It was a wonderful week away & a much needed & welcome break. Thank you for covering it 👍🫶xx

We went to Menorca several years ago but stayed in a little cove area with a lovely beach. We went to Mahon and had a trip in a glass bottomed boat through the harbour, very pretty place.

I loved the indoor bar & lovely & clean everywhere!

And that Church was really moving what an atmosphere looked like it was made of Marble rather than Stone.

Urghhhhh! Mosquitoes! Yuk...hope the bites have gone down a bit now. Flying things just LOVE me...gnats, mozzies, you name it, they bite me to bits You are a lovely mum Gaby. I read a comment from you about someone calling you both bad parents for calling that fab little man ''Thumps''. Can't believe how awful some people are saying things like that. Takes my breath away how sad some people are to say such mean things. You are STAR parents & Casper (or lovely Thumps!) is just a delightful little man who is a credit to his mum and dad! Take absolutely no notice of the ''nasties'' who are just sad and lonely individuals. You go girl! x J x

Hi Gaby great vlog .I’m a nervous flyer even though I have been abroad 30 times.turbulence used to make me feel anxious but what helps me if the crew are still walking around it can’t be too bad.
Yes I do the same thing haha I am getting better but that was seriously shaky that time x
That has to be so annoying about the mosquito bites, so lucky you found one. It been very hard to find one as I know my work at Wilkinson's does after bite stick and pen and cream but they have been totally sold out for a while, Boots said they don't have them and Superdrug's also said that they don't do them as well. I look on there website and they say they got them in stock. Yes we do learn something new everyday.
Think it’s so common there that they stock up x

Another great Vlog, just took me (yep me) 3 days to watch it all (knackered and falling asleep after work, sorry.) Hope i don't offend you here Gaby Really Really sorry if i do but the only way my family stopped my niece and my nephews from biting at Thump's age was a bite back (not hard but enough to give a shock) and it did stop it straight away, strangely my great niece Ava has never done it. My niece (Ava's mum) is 25 now and Ava is 4 in August (my nephews are 22 and 18.) They all make me feel old, i'm only 46 (i'm a very happy uncle and treat them all is they my own kids, (i don't have kids of my own)) You, Tim, Holly and Thumps make a beautiful little family.
Thank you so much no offence taken at all… yes Sam work it does have a lot to answer for lol. I’ll see how we go with the biting… I think he’s understanding now because I say ouch no it hurts and he associates hurt with when he hurts himself x

Been to Menorca 8 times , every time the other half gets bitten .Love the place , so does the mrs , but the mossies' keep going for her . She comes home looking like a dartboard lol .
Mahon is beautiful , in fact the whole of Menorca is enchanting , going back next year.

Spent the whole of the video looking out for my parents who are in the same village at the moment then to my surprise I spot them in the background at 40.51 😂😊. If you are still there the train parks up at the big hotel every night so you can go look for your glasses.
No way on the train or walking passed? I asked around the hotels for glasses and train but nobody had seen them.. 😭

Yes he has a seperate belt but it is attached so he’s on my knee anyway
