Take the clutch cover off. Unscrew the screws holding the clutch basket together. Take the plates out and clean them. Soak them overnight in transmission fluid. Put the plates back on and should be good.
Haven’t heard that exhaust tone since… 1990ish. Music! The clutch disks seize to pressure plates after sitting a long time. Common. Personally don’t know how to fix. Probably a disassembly.
Those Kawasaki twins were the freaking bomb back in the day. Not surprised at all that you smoked the tires off the rims. The 500 twins and 750 triples were even more insane. Then Kawasaki partnered with Arctic Cat for snowmobiles... engines engines engines engines
So your telling me you actually fixed the carbs the next day after getting it running for the first video.!? Thats weird so you first have some content for your video then fix it on your second. Showing the process makes sense to me!! Dont sweat all the know it all geniuses who must send all the negative comments! I am sure all their videos are fantastic! 👌
Wow. When I saw the title, I figured it would be an S2, never an A7. I was a Kawasaki parts mgr. in the 1980s, and the A7 was pretty much a dinosaur even then; never saw one on the road or in the shop.
This is double rare. The kart is a percival Wild cat which was the first chrome moly lite weight race karts.. the engine is rare as well only made for a couple years .
@@Dudeface167 I have a Royal Enfield and KTM at the moment but Kawasaki have a reputation that I have experienced first hand. No loyalty - just experience. I was also paying you a compliment but i think you missed that.
I love how he says it’s Squirrley and sketchy that’s why he didn’t get out of certain gears but if you look the rear tires don’t even have air and that’s why it’s Squirrley and all over the place this kid has a Deathwish that is so unsafe to ride with no air in those tires he’s going to end up flipping that thing or breaking something
You're scared of that mug, and you got every reason to be scared of it is definitely too small of a place where you're riding it at you keep doing them a little tight burnouts getting on it in first and second gear maybe a little bit of third, it's just going to break it down it's old what is the badass little go-kart. Find a bigger area. All respect 🙏 good work getting it going thank you for sharing 🙏
It is a scary kart for sure. I am trying to find a bigger place to ride it once I get the tires situated. I am glad you enjoyed the video. Thank you for checking the video out.
Put screws through the rim for a bead lock dragsters do it to keep the tire on the rim I had to do it to keep my tires on my go cart and I was using the same tire

First time seeing one of your vids. My guess is you dropped out of school to play with go karts. Probaly encouraged by a trailer park mother. Never held a proper job and are you sure daddy is not your uncle.
The Mr. Clean eraser pads work great. Been using them on every part of my bikes.
Thank you! I will give it a try.
Like they say "Ride it till the wheels fall off!" I love your videos, don't ever stop!!
Thank you!! There will definitely be more.
It appears you are having fun and that is what it is all about. Keep the vids coming. Fun to watch, thanks.
Thank you. It was a fun video to make! I am glad you are enjoying the videos.
The acceleration is crazy on that, be careful!
Awesome, wish i had a kart like this ❤
Take the clutch cover off. Unscrew the screws holding the clutch basket together. Take the plates out and clean them. Soak them overnight in transmission fluid. Put the plates back on and should be good.
Love the videos. Your hard work is evident in each one.
🤘
Thank you!
Love this kart, nice find Sam and Mikey!!👍
Thank you!!
With new tires this thing looks like it would be so much fun. Awesome find.
Thank you! Definitely needs new tires.
Super cool, love it!!

10:03 You can see the rim spinning inside the tire, just from putting the cart in first gear, with the clutch engaged.
Definitely got to get new tires.

69-72 or so these were king of the 350’s. Then the s2 came along and was even badder
That's awesome! I didn't know that.
I drag raced one of those Kawasaki 350 twins back in the early 80s. Ran high 12s totally stock.
That's awesome!!
Yep I wanna drive it
It is fun!
I can't wait to see what you do with this go-kart once it's fully done. Keep up the great work.
Thank you!
Sick! I gotta build one. Did that death machine come with that motor?
Nice! Old kart.
Thank you!!
😂😂😂 the cops would've arrested me that day... Awesome go kart.
😆😆 thank you!!
Looks live the go cart is a Percival
dude you're a trip 😂 🤣 that door is right there got me keep up the good videos brother 👍 ❤😂
Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it!!
fix your flat tyres and it will work better. lol
Keep it up!! Love your videos!!!🥰
Thank you so much!!
great job i love your videos and you came a long way from the beginning when you started TH-cam.
Thank you!!
how pissed off with the parking lot owners ? you marked up the whole parking lot
I’d cover the exhaust coming from behind the seat up to the muffler in heat wrap.
For sure. It does get pretty warm.
Just ride around the clutch in and it'll break free
Are you gonna put a body on this one?🤔
Who cares about a body
Mount the gas tank under braket!! Not on the top! Road warrior! That motor is worth 3 grand rare!
Stop signs !!! Chop zone!!!!
The glass bowl
Is a sediment bowl to catch any rust or dirt. It’s like a fuel filter
That's what everyone has told me. Just had the tank laying around, so I figured I'd use it. Just have to do something different.

😆😆
Got som epoke. Cannot beat a Kawasaki motor
Look at the brand loyalty lol

@@Dudeface167 sure. Sorry mate, it sometimes doesn't come across in comments very well. All the best to you and the channel 🙏
@@steven-vn9ui how were you paying me a compliment?
Put some better wheels n tires on it. Will handle much better
That is the plan. I'm probably going to do a different setup.
Those wheels alone on that kart are worth around 5-600 bucks to the right guy.
I had no idea.
I saw the flat tires before the the test drive some people are just Clueless LOL
Just wanted to have some fun.
You know most people would check and see if the tires had air in them.
I know.
Move the clutch to the floor, the shifter about a foot forward.
I might do that.
Those pipes are questionable and it deserves some decent wheels and rubber, subscribed.
New tires are definitely my next step. Thank you for subscribing!
I think you clutch cable is to tight causing the clutch to slip. It could be the oil you’re using to. I use delo 400 in my 1975 Honda cb360t
Thank you, I will check the cable and try that oil!
You could probably use taller wheels with no problem. It would look and perform way better.
I am definitely going to be putting larger tires on it!!
You can buy those class bowl set ups for a 8n or 9n Ford tractor at tractor supply.
Thank you, I'm probably just going to replace the tank.

That bowl thing is called a sediment bowl.
Thank you.
If the cart is loose in neutral then the clutch is not stuck.
👍
Put screws through the rim for a bead lock dragsters do it to keep the tire on the rim
I had to do it to keep my tires on my go cart and I was using the same tire
Thank you. I will definitely try that unless I am able to find a different setup.
Nah yo wheels the rims or slipping
Definitely need new tires.
you need to fix a flash before you run the rooms and everything else man
better tires and it would be insane, the rims were spinning in the tire
I know. I plan on getting bigger tires too.
Better glue the beads on this bad boy
I will try that.
Wow, what an amazing find! We sent you an email, take a look.
👍
I think you should remove that oil tank altogether and just mix your gas it'll be more safe
That is exactly what I have been doing. I just didn't remove the tank.
You wanna sale it
Swap the wheels and tires from the other go kart.
Man, I wish I thought of that.
