Welcome to Australia. I'll give you a like and subscribe to help you out with the algorithm. Renting here is a bit crazy at the moment, but you'll find somewhere. The winters in Melbourne are pretty brutal (I know you won't believe me, but I promise you they are freezing cold) but IMO it's the best city in the country. It overtook Sydney a few months ago as our biggest city too. Feel free to post any questions you might have. I'm sure us locals will be happy to answer. Oh wait - you said trams so I thought Melbourne. You're on the GC! Well I'm an idiot and your winters will be nothing. You'll be fine. The GC is full of Kiwis, you'll have fun.
