I’m 17 and live in London and I work in a bar and I’m starting to learn cocktail recipes and it’s really interesting and I’d love to do something like your job in the future when I’m old enough. Any tips? Any advice on where to start? Thank you, love the vids
I think its a good start to learn about the spirits, how they are made followed by the taste and how the taste of a spirit is influenced by its production.
i've watched a lot of your videos and you know whats the best part ? the part when you go tasting it a little through your hand or from the glass and you goes "UHHMMM" nice video and i have learn a lot through you !
There is also a version popular in Hamburg, Germany. It's called "Mexikaner" (mexican) and contains 2 parts Tomato Juice, 1 part Korn (you can use also use wodka, since Korn isn't popular on the outside of Germany), 1/2 part Sangrita (150ml tomato juice, 90ml orange juice, 2bs lemon juice, 1/4bs lemon juice, 1 dash worcester sauce and a little salt), 1-2 dashes tabasco, 1-2bs Pepper (yes it is very spicy). It is one of my favourite cocktails and I had to write it in parts because it is usually made in a big Bowl holding 1L Tomatojuice (and the other componants of course ;)). I would love to hear your feedback about this. The barkeeper on the Reeperbahn (popular place in Hamburg, Ger) aren't real barkeeper but something in the middle of beer openers and Mexikaner makers, so I never heard an opinion of a professional.
Yeah, That sounds really good, especially korn, so now i want to try that one)) But one pointin youe recipe of sangrita puzzled me, you wrote lemon juice 2 times (2bs lemon juice, 1/4bs lemon juice), i guess it's not intentionaly right? By the way, i love yours Andechs dunkel;))
Well, you're right, I will write the 2 receipes seperate ;) Oh, and it might help, if you leave the sangrita for about an hour (chilled or warm - doesn't matter) The drink get's stirred and is usually drinken unchilled (so no ice in the mixing glas). As a garnish I recommand to sprinkle a little bit of black pepper over the top. Sangrita: 150ml tomato juice, 90ml orange juice, 2bs lemon juice, 1/4bs tabasco, 1 dash worcester sauce and a little salt Mexikaner: 2 parts Tomato Juice, 1 part Korn, 1/2 part Sangrita, 1-2 dashes tabasco, 1-2bs pepper, 1-2bs salt This should be about right ;)
Oh and you are talking about bavarien beer. Bavaria isn't Germany - only on the paper. If you like to taste a very nice beer, I recommand Flensburger Pils, Ratsherren Pils or Groninger (but this is a local beer in Hamburg). Just as a hint, the most folks would be offended if you call them a Bavarian, even if he lives in Bavaria, but in the part of Franken.
Dude i love your videos, your skills are so impressive, if i tried doing any of this it would result in a trip to the hospital. Keep it up i enjoy your videos so much.
He seems to have so much fun i wish i could be bartender in a local bar for 1 ir two evenings in the week but there are no really inviting bars here with cocktails
omg I love your vids, it's so useful especially for our midterm cuz we're finally going to flair and mix drinks. well I'm kinda nervous cuz we should memorized dozen of recipes and it's kinda difficult for me so please wish me luck😆
So horseradish is optional. I want to make this cocktail but they said its need horseradish. Now i know no need that ingredients for this. Thanks so much.

he probably doesn't need it. I bet he makes at least 70,000 a year. Which for a bachelor is a lot of dough
@@wesleyaitken8756 Dude hes from Ukraine... The average salary is surprisingly low by Western standards. It can vary between $200-$400 per month.
