We ran them for years a flat on the front wheel is the a snap to change you lift the front of the machine then put an old bumper jack in the track and jack it open and take the wheel off. You don’t need to take the track off. And by the way your track is broken the rubber belts are continuous you are not supposed to take the track apart like you just did you need new tracks.
I was told that from the previous owner about the track, the tire thing, have done it that way once did not work for me that well, if you could post your tire change would love to see and maybe I was doing something wrong, Thanks for the input.
Great Video. .. I also have a j5, and videos like this help me when I have trouble,, Thanks
+Rhyan Matthews Thanks! look around, my way may not always be the right way, works for me.
I like the way you block everything up . If one jack stand fails you got the wooden blocks as a backup.
Thanks, working around this thing you have to be safe, thanks for watching.
Thanks for the tips
You bet

thank you for the repair video.
I thought they were solid rubber tires?
Wish they were that way would not have to worry about them going flat.
I got my tires all foam filled at a tire shop cost about 100.00 and a tire no more flats very well worth it
Could you tell me what size motor cycle tires you used? thanks
150/80B16 is what I use only because when I got it, it had one on it all ready.
thanks!
Do you need any parts for your J-5??
